"Chat, Where in the Miraculous were you all this time?"  Marinette asks him a third time. She gives a glare that speaks volumes.  It shows she is serious about wanting an answer about his whereabouts from him.

          "Princess, could we speak about something else, please?" Chat asks her.

   "Not until you tell me where you were for the last two years?" Marinette remarks.

   "Does it mean that much for you to know?"  Chat asks.

"Yes, it does so out with it,"  Marinette demands to know.

       Marinette thinks, my patience is wearing thin, Chat so answer me, will you.  She looks rather upset now. She can not figure out why he is so secretive about everything least of all now.  She begins to think, did he even mean a word of what the card says inside it?

       "Princess, I was away on a business trip that I did not expect to last for so long.  Then, when it was over, I came back in lots of pain,"  Chat explains.

       Marinette gives him a look that says, Go on Kitty, you can tell me anything.

  "I was hurt on my way back from the trip. It was a bit of ugly business about a car that had pulled out into traffic in front of the vehicle that I was in and well let us just say my driver was not happy about this at all.   He tried to tell them to move out of the way, but instead, the other person backed up into the car I was in and I was injured.   I was knocked out cold, so when I came too I was in the hospital.   I wished to write you a  note, but no one brought me a pen or paper,"  Chat goes on to say.

      "It took me a few months to recover, so here I am,"  Chat remarks.  He sees the tears in her eyes.

   "Chat is this the truth in the card?"  Marinette asks him.

   "Truth what truth?"  Chat asks. He feels Marinette's eyes trace his every move and he feels rather awkward about it.

     "Is it true that you love me?"  Marinette blurts out.  She holds the silly construction paper hand made bright red, rose-shaped Valentine's card from two years ago in her hands again as she speaks to him.

     "M-Marinette, that was an l-long time ago that I wr-wrote the card and much has ch-changed since then,"  Chat says.

    "Does this mean that the love you once had for me no longer exists?"  Marinette asks.
