I dedicate this part to @TheoreticalDreamer since they did guess who they think Marinette's visitor is in the previous part.  Now, let us see if they are right or not, shall we? -Summer Cheng


          Marinette does not look up from the card to pay attention to her visitor.  She also does not seem to notice when Tikki hides inside the drawer to her computer desk.  

         "Hello, what are you up too?"  He asks.

          "Oh, just re-reading an old card and wondering what has become of the sender," She answers.  

           "Well, then, what is so special about this particular one from others you have received over the years?"  He asks her.

         "It came from someone I knew long ago.  He was a friend to me, or rather my best friend,"  Marinette says sadly.

         He smiles and thinks, the moonlight that shines into the room makes her appear to be prettier than I remembered.  He wonders though who it is she goes on about in such a manner.  It is not like he heard her speak his name or much of anything else that gives away the lad's identity.

       "Well, then, Marinette, who is this you speak so highly of anyway?"  He asks.

       "Oh, you probably do not know him as he has been gone for two years,"  Marinette replies sadly.

         "Is he perhaps, someone well known?"  He inquiries.

      "Yes, he is indeed, but then again, how did you know?"  She responds.

    "It was just a wild guess, princess,"  He remarks.  

          "Princess, wh-what?  Only one person ever calls me by that name,"  She says in surprise.

         "Who might that be Marinette?"  He says in a gentle tone.

          Marinette looks up and gasps.  "Ch-Chat, b-but how?  Y-you are d-dead,"  Marinette mutters.

     Chat laughs, and says, "On the contrary, Marinette, I assure you, I am very much alive."

         "This is not real.  It must just be a dream, or you are a ghost come to haunt me,"  She says.   She looks at him with eyes that speak volumes of how sad she has been over his great loss.

         Author's Note:  Was it all a dream as Marinette thought or was he in her room speaking to her just now?
