In this story, Aurore, Robert and Rose all talk about St. Patrick's Day! Robert has never even heard of this holiday before the girls discuss this with him.   Robert is a character I made up.

        Anyway, hope you like this. It is my first St. Patrick's Day Special ever!

     "Aurore, what is with this holiday, St. Patrick's Day?"  Robert asks.

     "I am not sure Robert,"  Aurore tells him.

      "It is a holiday where people wear green," Aurore tells him.

      "Why do you wear green on holiday then?" Robert asks.

       "Well, if you do not wear green supposedly a leprechaun pinches you," Aurore says.

      "How does green do anything though?" Robert asks.

   "It makes you invisible to them so they can not pitch you," Aurore explains.

   "Sounds rather silly to me!"  Robert tells her.

    "Silly or not it is a tradition that takes every day on March seventeenth,"  Aurore tells him.

     "Why the seventeenth of March?"  He asks.

    "It is because March 17th is when St. Patrick's Day takes place," Aurore tells him.

      "Do you think leprechauns are real?"  Robert asks.

     "Good question there, Robert.  I would say no," Aurore tells him.

     "I think they are just make-believe characters the Irish made up at some point," She says.

       "Well, think they did as an excuse to play tricks on people once a year," Rose says.

    "It is an excuse to be naughty and blame it on someone else,"  Aurore explains.

         "Hmm, okay!"  Robert remarks.

"I think I will wear green anyway that day, "  Robert says.

   "Me too, " Robert says.

  "I think I will buy some green clothes to prepare for it," Rose says.

    "Sure count us in, but just for fun!"  Robert says.

Aurore, Rose, and Robert all went to the mall together.

  Robert bought a green T-shirt.  

  Rose bought a green t-shirt that has white Shamrock, what the Irish refer to four-leaved clovers, on it.

  Aurore bought a green dress, high heels shoes to match, a new purse, and even some green jewelry, and nail polish.

 A few days later, Robert, Aurore, and Rose are all ready for St. Patrick's  Day! 

 It is here now, and they all wear their new outfits.   

   Robert found a pair of green pants at his place to match his t-shirt so he wears them too.

    Rose wears her new t-shirt to go along with a solid green skirt she owns.

Aurore looks stylish in her new dress, shoes, and jewelry. Her nails have green polish on them, and she even has a bit of green glitter on her face.

   The leprechaun's look about for those who did not wear green!  I hope no one got pinched!
