Adrien calls Marinette on the phone. He thinks this is it, Adrien, you can do this.

    "Hello, Adrien!  Are you all right?" Marinette says. She can tell he is a bit nervous since he stutters some now.

  * on the phone   "M-Marinette, my love I have never been b-better," Adrien replies.

* on the phone with her "Marinette, please m-meet me at the place where I knew my l-love for you was t-true," Adrien says.

"Ok, I will, but where did you first fall in love with me?"  Marinette asks.

*on the other phone line "M-Marinette I feel in love with y-you at the school where we first m-met," Adrien replies.

"What time should I come?"  Marinette asks.

*on the other end "Meet me there at e-eight and try not to be late, m'lady!  I love you, M-Marinette!" Adrien answers.

"Ok, see you then, Love you too, kitty, my Adri!"  She says, then hangs up.

"Marinette, I know Adrien loves you, but I wonder why he wants to meet you where he first fell in love with you,"  Tikki says.

"I have no idea, Tikki,"  Marinette remarks. She laughs.

"Marinette is 7:30 pm now, you have to meet Adrien in a half-hour,"  Tikki says.

  "I better get ready to meet him, then." She says.

     Marinette puts on her bright red dress, a little bit of blush, and lip gloss, her black sandals, a small lightweight red sweater, and fixes her hair up in a bun. She grabs up her new red purse Alya bought for her a few weeks ago and heads out the door.

  "Tikki, I am ready,"  Marinette says.

  "Wow, Marinette you look great!" Tikki says.

     Marinette walks outside Master Fu's place and heads to the high school to meet Adrien. 

Tikki hides inside Marinette's sweater.

     Adrien sees Marinette approach him. He has on a nice suit complete with a tie. He smiles at her and says,  "Hi, Marinette!"

  "Adrien, why did you want to meet me where we both fell in love with each other?" Marinette asks.

  Adrien does not say anything, instead, he holds up a huge banner that reads: Marinette Dupain-Cheng will you marry me?

"Marinette, my princess, best friend, love of my life, and Bugaboo,  will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Adrien asks.  He is so nervous he begins to sweat.

  Marinette gasps and looks at him in surprise. She puts a hand to her mouth. 

   "M-Marinette, I mean will you marry me?"  Adrien asks. He shows her a lovely engagement ring.

   "Marinette, I-I..." Adrien tries to say more, but faints.

   "Adrien, please speak to me," Marinette says. She can not believe he proposed to her and fainted afterward.

     Adrien comes too, "Sorry, M-Marinette, I did not mean to scare you." He says.

"Adrien, do you mean it?"  Marinette asks. She starts to fall.

"Marinette!" Adrien calls out, stands up and catches her just like he used to in the past.

   "Adrien, you c-caught me," Marinette says and looks at him in surprise.

   Adrien hugs her, "Please give me an answer, the suspense is too hard for me,"  he says.

"Marinette are you all right?" Adrien says. He looks sad like he might cry. He begins to walk away.

   "Yes, I am fine, Adrien, please do not go," Marinette says and grabs his hand.

   "Do not leave,"  Marinette says.

   "But, I thought..." Adrien says in surprise.

   "Adrien, yes I will marry you!"  Marinette says. She wipes away the single tear that falls from his eye with her finger.

     Adrien slips the ring on her finger, then leans in and kisses her. He can not believe she agreed to marry him.

    Marinette kisses him back and thinks, I love you too, my fiance.

      It begins to rain why they stand on the steps to the school.  Adrien and Marinette do not notice as they kiss in the place where they first fell in love.   Adrien wraps his hands around her waist, and Marinette puts her arms gently around his neck.

      Adrien and Marinette were engaged for over a year, but time went by fast for the two lovebirds. 

       After they got married,  Adrien says, "Marinette my bride you are beautiful."

"Thanks, Adrien my groom, and you are handsome,"  Marinette says.

     As Adrien kisses his wife once more he feels like the luckiest man alive since he just married the love of his life.
