In the previous part, Marinette discovers she time-traveled to the past, to China, where she sees someone turn into a past Ladybug. 

   In the current part, the past Ladybug attempts to open a portal to send Marinette back to the future to Paris, France. 

    "I wish I could remember how I got here, but I can not," Marinette says.

    "Marinette, while I try to get you home please try to recall what you were doing before you got here," The past Ladybug tells her.

    Back to Paris, France Future time, "Natalie, Adrien must never find out what happened to Marinette," Gabriel says. 

   "Yes, but how will we keep him from finding out?"  Natalie asks.

  Plagg overhears the conversation between Natalie and Gabriel and decides he has to tell Adrien. He goes to him and whispers, "Adrien, I think I have a clue about Marinette."

    "Information, about Marinette, what information, Plagg?"  Adrien asks.

     "Your father and Natalie know where she is and keep it from you," Plagg says. He suggests Adrien spy on them.

     Adrien walks over to the door to his room and listens to Natalie and his father as they talk in the hallway.  

   Outside the door, "Sir, how do we keep him from finding out the truth that she is alive and trapped in the past?" Natalie asks.

"I have no idea, but we must think of something. We need to soon,"  Gabriel remarks.

     "Now, remember you are to tell no one else we had this conversation,"  Gabriel tells her.

    "Yes, sir I understand," Natalie says and walks away to work on some computer stuff.

        Gabriel returns to his room unaware that Adrien and Plagg overheard anything. 

   "Plagg, I can not believe it. My father claims Marinette time-traveled, but how?" Adrien asks.

    "Yes, and why does  he want to keep it a secret from you?"  Plagg asks.

    "I have no idea, but I intend to find out," Adrien says.

"      

   Back to the past, in China, Marinette smiles, and says, "Oh, I remember now I left the mall as I mentioned before to Master Fu,"      

  "I was upset because Adrien was there with Aurore. She made it sound like they were on a date," Marinette says sadly. She sighs.

   "I begin to walk home, then sat on the sidewalk and cried," She says.

    "Good, now do you remember anything else?"  The past Ladybug asks.

   "No, that is it. Wait, I recall wondering why Alya, my best friend never showed up as she told me she would. "  Marinette tells her.

   "Well, this a puzzlement,"  Ladybug says.

   "Somehow a time portal opened up and you were pulled through it," She explains.

   "Who could have opened a time portal though?" Marinette asks.

"Only a miraculous holder, like the bunny holder, or horse holder could open one.  Otherwise, it a villain might be able to open one,"  Master Fu explains.

   "I think since you are from the future a villain in that time must have opened a portal that sent you here.  It was one akumantized by the Hawkmoth back there,"  Master Fu says.

     "Then, why can not I open a portal to get home?"  Marinette asks.

"Only a future villain or miraculous holder in your time should be able to open one. The other possibility is that a past miraculous holder could open one for you.  You can not open one because you are a hero in the future, but you are not in this time,"  Master Fu goes on to explain.

 In Paris, France Adrien decides it is time to stop just doing nothing and figure out more details about this whole time travel thing.

"Plagg, time to find clues to figure out how Marinette was sent to the past, let's go!" Adrien says.

"Plagg claws out!" He says to transform.

"Now to find Marinette," Chat Noir says, and jumps out the open bedroom window.

"Wait, what is this?" Chat says as he picks up a small notebook off the ground. He looks at the cover and sees it says, Marinette's Journal across it in bold letters.

Chat never knew she kept a journal. The wind blows and the journal opens to her most recent entry. It has the date of the day she was assumed dead.

Dear Journal,

Today, Alya invited me to meet her at the mall food court. She said it was for lunch.

I am not sure if it is a good idea, or not. What if Nino's there and I end up their date or something? I do not want to be a third wheel.

I debt for awhile on rather I go or not. I decided I might as well go. What could it hurt?

Alya sounded happy over the phone and I could not let her down. Besides, it is not every day we have a girl's luncheon together. She is my best friend, so I can not let her down.

I wonder if...oh, nevermind the thought is too silly to even think about let alone write down.

Call me paranoid, but if something should happen to me whoever finds this, tell my mother and father, I love them, and tell Alya and Nino I hope they get married someday.

Tell Kagami and Nathaniel I wish the best for them, tell Chloe I am sorry we were never friends, but how could we be though? Chloe always did tease me as you well know.

Tell Lila, I wish her happiness.

I would speak more about my crush, but how can I? I can not even speak normally to him, I get nervous because I care so very much for him. I suppose I hope he is happy too.

Chat Noir wonders, who is Marinette's crush? He finds another clue, wait what is this? He looks closer and sees it is a small, single-light blue feather.

"A feather, what could it mean?" Chat says. Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! He sneezes and says, "Great it would be something I am allergic too."

"It looks like a peacock villains feather, but how did it end up here?" Chat asks.

" The peacock villain must have caused the explosion four months ago, and opened a time portal," Chat says.

"I know someone who might be able to help," Chat says and goes to see Master Fu, the one at this time.

   "Hi, Chat Noir, so what brings you here?"  Master Fu asks.

    "I was hoping you could help me," Chat says as he hands him Marinette's Journal and the feather he found.

  He sneezes again.

   "Why did you come to me for help, and where is Ladybug?" Master Fu remarks.

   "I am not sure, but I need your help to get Marinette back,'' Chat says.

     "I see you managed to solve the puzzle and discover the truth," Master Fu says.

     "I knew I picked the right person for Chat Noir," He remarks. He decides not to tell him Marinette is Ladybug so as not to upset him.

     "Can you help?"  Chat Noir asks.

    "Hmm, let me see what I can do,"  Master Fu says.

    "I suggest at midnight tonight you go to the place or sight where your friend vanished."  Master Fu says.

   "It is important you go in your civilian form though," He says.

   "Ok, I will do as you say,"   Chat Noir says, runs home, re-enters the room and detransforms.

  The past Ladybug calls out, "I wish to send my friend to where and when she came from now."

     A time portal opens, Marinette is pulled through it and...
