A Miraculous Easter Lukanette/Adrienette part 11

Two days later, Adrien is seen in the park again. He waits for the photographer to show up since his photoshoot was rescheduled.  He knows he owns his father an explanation to his whereabouts.  He does not plan to tell him thought.  His father could care less when it comes to how he feels or who he loves.

Marinette gets a text from Adrien and smiles. She thinks sure I will be happy to spend time with you again. She runs to the park to join him.

      "Hi, A-Adrien!"  Marinette mutters.

     "Hi, Marinette!"  Adrien says.

"Good to see you are both here,"  Vincent states.

"Here, put those on now,"  He says as he hands them today's outfits.

Adrien sees the two privacy curtains set up. He goes behind one and Marinette behind the other one.  He can not help but wonder what her clothes will look like.  He takes off his clothes except for the undergarments.  He steps into the new ones, sighs as he combs his hair, puts the shoes on, and exits the area.

Marinette comes out shortly with a cute skirt, a nice top, leggings, and cute shoes.  She looks so hot that Adrien blushes.

Adrien gulps unsure how to respond at her appearance.  Her hair is down for a change.  He rather likes it that way.

"Wow, Marinette you look beautiful!"  Adrien says.

"Thanks and you look handsome,"  Marinette says.

"Good now stand together, by the fountain," Vincent says.

Adrien and Marinette do as they instructed.  Adrien holds her hand and Vincent snaps the picture.  Then, he takes a few of them under a tree with Adrien's hands gently on her cheeks.

Marinette puts her arms around his neck.  The two look like star crossed lovers.

For the last picture, Vicent says,  "Good now, show us some romance."

"I beg your pardon," Adrien says.

"It is okay, he should not have to this because he does not see me this way," Marinette remarks.

"Awe, you are modest, but not truthful.  From what I have seen you have so much chemistry,"  Vincent says.

Marinette blushes and Adrien does the same.  Vincent takes a photo of them both looking at the ground with cheeks flushed pink.

Then, he looks up to see Adrien's hands-on Marinette's cheeks again, but this time sees tears in her eyes.

Adrien would kiss her again, but is not sure he can.  He fears he will only mess up everything.

Vincent takes the photo.  "Well, that is it for today, you both my go," He says.  He starts to pack up his things.

"I knew it, you invited me here to use me!"  Marinette yells at Adrien.

      "What?"  Adrien asks in surprise.

"You knew Vincent would see my weakness was my one-sided love for you," Marinette blurts out angrily.  She reaches up and slaps him.

"M-Mari, I did not know he would take the picture when you cried,"  Adrien remarks.

"Agreste, stop it!  Do not get near me again!" Marinette yells at him and stomps off.

"Marinette, I  love you," Adrien mumbles.  He watches as she continues on as if she does not hear him.

   Adrien's  POV:
As I see her leave I think great now she takes my heart with her.

He sighs and feels tears reach his eyes.

He wishes Vincent did not take that last photo.

How can he get Marinette to believe him now?

    He loves her.

"How dare you!"  Adrien yells at the photographer is about to drive off.

"Adrien, what is the problem?"  Vincent asks.

"The problem is Marinette took offense to the last picture and she thinks I set her up.  I  love her and it is your fault she hates me!" Adrien shouts at him.

Adrien walks away with fury in his eyes.  He can not believe it.  He will never get to tell her now.  He might as well forget about the box.  It is useless now.  He runs to the building with his bag on his back and change of clothes inside it.

He enters the place, then, slams the door, locks it, and changes back into his regular clothes. He sits under the stair rail and sobs.  He thinks I lose. I always lose in the end.

   Marinette's  POV:

I can not believe I thought Adrien cared about me.

  I should have known better.

I  mean it was too good to be true.

Marinette enters the hotel, goes straight to her room, and changed back into her regular clothes. She hears something hit the ground.  She picks it up in surprise.

"How did this get here?"  Marinette asks.

Marinette picks up the small rolled-up paper off the ground. She looks at it in surprise and puts a hand over her mouth unsure how to react.
