Jesse's POV:

"Jesse!" Jess called from downstairs, "it's time to go!" I sighed and grabbed my suitcase.

This was going to suck...

I grabbed my bag reluctantly and trudged down the stairs. "I'm ready," I said to everyone.

I wasn't actually ready. Physically, I looked ready but mentally I wasn't anywhere near ready.

"Bye guys," I said in a voice barely above a whisper, hugging each of them, "I'll miss you."

I shut the door behind me and prepared for my new life.

Okay, new life is a bit dramatic.

My new life at summer camp.

I kept thinking about who I'd be sharing a cabin with, if they'd be nice, and if they were

ready to listen to me talk about Petra for hours. 

These thoughts were cut short as the bus pulled up. Waving goodbye, I got on the bus and sat 

down in a random, empty seat.

I put earbuds in and drifted off to sleep.

"Hey dude, get up!" somebody yelled

I woke up and screamed.

"Dude, are you usually this skittish?" another voice asked me. This one was a female's. I looked 

up and saw two people, a guy, and a girl, standing in the aisle waiting for me. The guy

had chocolate colored skin with short, black hair, brown eyes, a navy polo, and dark blue jeans.

"Uh, sorry," I mumbled, getting up while accidentally bumping into the girl that was standing

there. She had long, brown hair tied up with an enormous pink bow. She had emerald green          

eyes, much like mine, and she wore a pink, sparkly dress that went just past her knees. I quickly

hurried off the bus and ran into the camp.

"Oh boy..." I mumbled to myself, looking at all the people around, "this is gonna suck."

So sorry that this chapter took forever to come out, and sorry it's so short, but I've just been really busy and whenever I did have time to write, I focused on some of my other books.
