Day 1: Mor'du
Anna's POV
How did it end up like this, Merida on Hiccup's back, Merida pulling his hair, and Hiccup yelling at her to get off.
Elsa on top of Jack, pinning his arms down, yelling at him, obviously still mad at him for calling me "strawberry" which I was too.
Rapunzel hanging on to Eugene's leg, swatting him away, every time he tried to get her off him.
And then you have Kristoff and I, standing a few feet away, staring at what was happening in front of us, he smiled at the scene, and then I did too.
I didn't even notice I was staring at him, until he looked over to me, my face turned pink, and I quickly looked away.
Merida's POV
There I was on Hiccup's back, pulling his hair, when I thought what's the point of this anyway, not that I'm not enjoying it, which I was, but this was going to get us no where.
"ENOUGH!" I yelled jumping off Hiccup's back, everyone looked at me, "We need to compromise, and I have da' perfect one," I announced.
"And, that would be," Eugene mentioned.
"The girls get the bunk beds the first night, while the boys sleep on the ground, then the second night it's the other way around, and we just keep doing that the whole summer," I said proud of my suggestion.
"Um, why do the girls get the bunk beds the first night!" Jack pointed out.
"You know the sayin' ladies first," I declared.
"Uh ladies, where?" Hiccup cracked, the boys all laughed, I glared at him.
"Yeah your right, if it was ladies first, wouldn't you four be getting the bunk beds," Elsa fired back (GIRL POWER!!) I started laughing my head off, so did Punzie and Anna, "Burn!" Rapunzel yelled, Elsa standed there in triumph.
After we settled down, "But lets just do it that way, it's only one night guys, before you get the bed," I reasoned.
"Fine," the guys said in unison.
Then, we unpacked our stuff until were called out to meet the kids, thankfully the girls and boys were separated, and only got together on activity's sometimes.
The little kids all came up to us and introduced themselves, I noticed a little girl with red hair, sitting in the corner by herself, I walked over to her.
"Hi," I said sitting down next to her, "Hi," she mumbled.
"What's your name," I asked, "I'm Mary,"she said quietly.
"Well Mary, why aren't ye' playing with the other kids," I asked.
"Because, I don't think anyone wants to be my friend," Mary admitted.
"Well I bet, they would, and if things don't work out, I'll be your friend," I promised.
"Okay, I'll try, thank you so much," she said giving me a hug.
"No problem, now go get yourself some friends," I smiled, and she walked away.
Mary did end up making friends, and played with them until it was time for the campfire.
---
We all gathered around the campfire, roasting marsh mellows and laughing.
Kristoff found a guitar and, we started singing, usually I get annoyed by the sound of little kids singing. But this time I actually enjoyed it, and I could tell everybody else could too.
After awhile one kid suggested that we tell scary stories, all the kids agreed.
The kids told there stories, they weren't scary at all, but the kids seemed satisfied.
"None of these stories are scary," one little boy said.
"You should tell them about Mor'du," Rapunzel smirked, all the kids looked at Rapunzel.
I thought back to when Punz and I were 10 and I told her that story at a sleepover, she didn't sleep the whole night.
"Nah, that story's too scary for little kids," I exclaimed. "No it isn't, tell us," the kids begged, "Fine," I gave up.
---
"Long ago, back in Scotland, some wee lad and lassies like ye' self, went camping. They had the greatest time dancing, singing, laughing, and a campfire, but then it was time for them to go to sleep. In the middle of the night, a little girl had to go to the bathroom, so she got out of her tent, and went into the forest to go. When she was all finished, she started heading back, but suddenly she heard growl, she turned around to meet the face of MOR'DU! a huge bear, with sharp teeth that could tear you apart in one BITE. And black fur, with arrows sticking out of its neck, but most scary, his huge black eyes that were cruel and vicious, that it seemed like he was seeing into your soul and tearing it apart, A huge blood curtailing scream echoed through out the forest, waking up all the campers. In the morning, all the campers went looking for the little girl, they searched for hours, and hours, but couldn't find anything. They decided to go back, but then realized they were lost, so they just stayed where they were, until someone came to find them. Night time soon came, and they all had fallen a sleep, just laying for Mor'du to come get them, one of the kids heard a rustle in the bushes, and got scared so he woke up the others, one of them turned on a flashlight, and pointed it in the direction of the sound. All they could see was the huge dark outline of a bear about 11 feet high, then it plunged towards them, eating every, last, one. In the end all you see was blood everywhere, seeping into the ground, and various body parts scattered everywhere, along with bones. And Legend is, Mor'du still roams the forests looking for some more nice little kids to eat."
All the kids had scared looks on their faces, even one kid was crying, Rapunzel went over and comforted them.
Punzie glared at me still hugging the little girl.
"Hey ye' kids, wanted to hear it, I told ya' it was scary," I defended.
"Well kids I think, it's time you be getting to sleep," Hiccup stated, knowing they wouldn't be getting much.
They all went to their cabins, and we made sure they were all in bed, then headed back to our cabin.
I layed in bed thinking, so day 1, I've so far, made a compromise, got a little girl to make friends, and scared kids so much they peed their pants, I mentally high fived myself for that one.
Well so far I think I'm a pretty good counselor, I'm a little scared and excited to see what happens next, that was my final thought before drifting off to sleep.
In the middle of the night, I got up to get something, and accidentally stepped on Hiccup's face, then Jack's back, Kristoff's arm, and actually kind of just kicked Eugene.
"Owww," they all said, I chuckled.
---
A little later on I heard Punzie fall tripping over one of the boys.
"You okay Punz" I whispered, "Yeah just peachy," she said sarcastically, I smiled just chuckled in response.
---
Then there was me dreaming about competing in a national archery competition, and I was just about to win when, I heard a loud siren, scaring me awake, making me fall off the bed.
Fortunately, Hiccup and Jack broke my fall, "OWWW" they both screamed.
I looked over to Hiccup, which my top part landed on, "Rise and shine, wee lamb," I jokingly smiled, he just gave me a dirty look, and pushed me off him.
I got up and looked at Anna, who had almost if worse bedhead then I did, and dried drool on the side of her mouth.
Rapunzel's hair was the same, but was more poofy, probably from the humidity.
And then Elsa, who's hair looked PERFECT, I just don't get. We all got ready, which the girls did behind those changing thingies (I don't know what they're called) which was provided in every cabin. then we headed out the door Day 2 here I come.
