I screamed in a flurry of pain, rage and suffering. They had just taken away my beloved captain and best friend. All that mattered to me was stolen away. I couldn't believe that all the adventures we shared, all the times I was called a cuttlefish, had just been stripped away from me. my life now meant nothing. I loved him with all of my heart and it was all shattered before my eyes. True there would be other people, but no one could ever be able to have my heart as he did. My heart would stay his for all eternity. I couldn't understand why people think that just because we're pirates, were automatically evil. I wishEd they had known Jack as I did. Then they would have realiz that although he plundered ships, he did everything possible so no one was killed. He was a pirate, yes, but he was also a good man. I ran to where they left him, and pressed myself against him one last time. I stroked that tangled mess of hair, wishing that I could have saved him. "Goodbye my love," I cried into his shoulder. I stood up and walked back to the ship, leaving my heart behind. When I stepped on board mr Gibbs took one look at me and knew what happened. The entire crew soon found out that our beloved captain was gone. Some tried to comfort me, but it was no use. My heart was left on that island, with that captain.

But then I heard a voice,

"cuttlefish!"
