Today's episode dealt with Women!
So why not discuss about it here in link with MP(I mean My Possession).

So here goes the questions:

How many of you cursed Suraj after reading the first part?
When I introduced Shantanu, did u think of him to be negative? If yes, why?
What are your thoughts about that fragile Chakor?
What do think of the world where women are treated as objects by few men?

I stop here with my questions!

I'm not answering for the first 2 question.
So starting from the third one.

The fragile Chakor!
I don't think she is full fragile as she was thinking to stand for herself and her baby when she was said to be pregnant. It's one step to prove she is not fragile.
At the same time, she is not someone strong.
She could have fought for herself and build a good career even if it's working in Cafe or Shops.

The world of women.
I think that compared to before the world is improving with equal rights to women but it suck with people who thinks that women are just made to reproduce and do household chores.
The technology has evolved, the mindset of people has evolved, the world has evolved but not for everybody.
With the number of female victims, the world really sucks.
Luckily the world is not only full of Monsters(i.e. they can Men & Women) but also of Angels.

Here are my answers:

1- I didn't curse Suraj. I didn't even think he's bad. just rude. I don't approve of his actions but he didn't force Chakor into this relation.

2- I thought Shantanu was negative. His attitude towards Chakor, how he told Suraj that she took him away from his family and how he kept being rude to her even though Suraj clearly wanted him to stop, made me think so.

3- I'm not sure about Chakor, at the beginning she was naive and choosing this life style shows that  she didn't have the strength to fight for herself, I don't know if this is due to her being fragile or if she was facing some extreme circumstances (mainly emotional one) that forced her into this.

 She still had the strength to decide to keep the child even if Suraj was to leave her. I don't know if Suraj's hidden love and their blissful life made her stronger or is it just her character. May be Chakor is the domestic type, she will fight for her family but finds it difficult to face problems in her career or in the outside world.

4- Things have certainly improved but women are still at a disadvantage. Society's attitude takes time to change, but as people get more educated it becomes easier to change these backwards views. Women need to be empowered through education and financial independence.

 My answers are:

1 I didn't hate suraj as whatever happened between sukor was mutual

2 I also thought that shantanu is negative as he insulted cahor even after the warning of suraj

3 I think chakor was fragile in the beginning as there was no one to support her & stand by her. After suraj's entry she was ready to fight for her unborn child even when he left her in the hospital

4 The world is changing & the condition of women has improved but still in some section of society conditions of women is not good.

Here goes my answers-

Did I cursed Suraj,after reading the first part?
Nope...never as Katherine said,whatever was going on between Sukor was mutual...
Actually,the mystery,the rough attitude of him,made me even more strongly attracted to him...Like I had said,deep inside the MP Suraj seemed to me as the original Suraj...he always indulges in wrong doings,but at heart he was never wrong...If you judge him by his actions,you are doing the biggest mistake.
I can never curse him,i dont know why the more dark,unpredictable and uncertain someone appears,the more I tend to be inclined to him...after the first part,I was adamant to see more from him.

Did I thought Shantanu to be negative?
again,NO...even if he was not good with Chakor,I knew that he was not bad,and he genuinely loves his brother,and wants his good.
Regarding Chakor,I know he should have behaved properly with her,but which man would behave rightly if his brother keeps a mistress...he had his own reasons for that.

My thoughts on the fragile Chakor...
Yes,instead of being a mistress,she should have managed some other things for her.
But she was altogether not fragile...even being a mistress she tried to held her self esteem...like she didn't liked being addressed a mistress by Suraj's brother.even being a mistress,she somewhere demanded Suraj's respect by her actions.And,after knowing about her pregnancy,she immediately took charge of her child.
So,Chakor had a beautiful journey from being a mistress to a confident women.and that confidence was instilled in her by Suraj.
Earlier,she did not had nay self respect,that is why she chose to be a mistress...but being that also,the care and respect that Suraj gave her,boosted a self love and self esteem within her.

My thoughts on world where women are treated as objects..
Sadly,the world still exists,especially in India...
I am not gonaa comment much on this topic,otherwise I'll be writing an essay.
All I can say is,until and unless you do not allow yourself to put you down,then no one can...
If you love yourself,respect yourself,know your real worth...then everyone will follow the same with you...and this rule applies to both men and women...

It was nice answering the questions...and MP is my personal favorite...I have read it 5 times.and after this today its gonna be my sixth.
I just love dark stories and characters.

As far as ur questions concerned...

This is just a story..I like it too
.But as reality concerned. . Such character I will not like..
Moreover... women position surely changes alot..but somewhere... still women are not treated well..

Why women feel this one is easy way to get money...

& maithu dee...generally... girls accept boys with this lust character.. but do suraj be the same if she was not virgin..
Well...
I hope... women should like free to do anything..they should nott b judged by clothes.. I strongly favours gender neutrality..
At the end... in this chakor is too fragile.. & naive. . (Suraj possession).. but may b this is demand of story.. otherwise.. its hard to think about such characters in real relevance.

I totally agree with with you a good education for both women and men is needed for a good society. For that the education must start from our house then school and finally society.

Shantanu couldn't cut his words due to the bromance they had before Chakor's entry. Poor boy, he was missing it!

You just explained how love can make a person strong evenif we have to against that person too!

Agree dear! The society is improving but not totally!
And I think it will more than one century t clean all the bad minded people as they are the one the infect this society!

The image we show to the world is the image they will retain. For that I will say self-confidence and self-esteem with an appropriate education is needed for both men and women!

You know sometimes, some women are pushed to that world without their word. They can be less than the number of people who are willingly doing that profession. But few Women exist in that world who try to escape from that black devil.

The circumstances, family background, the surrounding... a lot of factors are involved. I think money alone can't be the reason for all of them.

If she wasn't a virgin, I think it would have been how trustworthy she was to him. Their relationship here may be started with desire but it's trust that overpowered everything. 

There are still girls in this world who are still dependant on others in most of the situations. They need freedom with education to be independent.

I'm not justifying my characters but telling what I saw and learnt.
