A Phoenix
among ashes

Inhaling the same oxygen as
Tigers
And Wolves

Sharing the planet with
Volcanoes
and
Killer whales.

With the blood of Kings
Surging through your arteries.

Magnificent enough to destroy;  be destroyed and to reconstruct.

Powerful enough to render hearts a-flutter, eyes enlarging and faces brightening with recognition.

Your mere existence has caused the earth to tremble, the gods taking notice.

Don't ever think you
are unimportant.

At least not to me.
