You're waiting for a surprise to see

Just when I fell for thee

I fell for another but a she

I was under a tree

Being carefree

Sketching the sea

The color of your eyes.. Toby

But then she approached me

Forest green and honey bees

Flecks of gold and shades of green

Colors of her running free

"Wow! I finally got to see my favorite artist." she said.

Her words flowed through me

I wanted to tell her that she

Was the greatest creation I'll ever see

Dear G̶o̶d̶, what have you done to me?

I stutter as I told her, "W-W-Why are y-you t-talking to me th-then?"

She laughed and snorted as she said, "Who else is a great artist other than you?"

I almost answered, “G̶o̶d̶ because he created you.”

"I d-don't know--"

Then I saw Toby advance toward us

I looked at him confused

He looked at me bemused

But you seemed amused

As I can't seem answer you

"I'm Brie by the way." you said.

"I-I'm _____."

"And I'm Toby! Now that we all know each other, let's go _____." you said as you pulled me up and let my sketchpad fall on the ground.

You never talked to me

Why are you dragging me away?

From Brie, the beauty

I don't want my skies to be gray

You touched me roughly

I yanked my arm

Out of alarm

And grabbed my sketchpad

Ready to run

Then I stumbled

And fell on the ground

Both of you staring at me

As if asking:

Let's dance, shall we?

Gads! This is the longest I've written. I guess I was too inspired 😅 I wrote this from 11+pm to 1:30 am. Its kinda chaotic so I'm sorry.
