A/N: Im not sure if this could be a trigger warning for anyone, but if Suicide triggers you, i suggest you not read this. 

Third Person: 

Henry and Ray just came down the tube, and Ray was angry with Henry. Henry accidentally let one of the criminals get away because he got punched super hard and could barely catch his breath before the criminal got away. The two heroes came down the tubes and the tubes lifted.

Ray: Ughh Henry, why did you let him go?

Charlotte, Jasper, and Schwoz turn to look at the heroes.

Charlotte: Um guys? Whats wrong?

Ray: Henry over here let one of the robbers get away! He was mad

Henry: Oh well I'm sorry that I'm not indestructible like you, where when i get punched in the gut it takes me a little bit to catch my breath!

Ray just shook his head in frustration. Henry doesn't understand why Ray can't just understand the fact that it wasn't his fault the robber got away. Charlotte and Jasper had a look of disappointment on their faces, which Henry also doesn't understand. Schwoz had walked out of the room.

Jasper: You've been letting a lot of bad guys get away recently Henry.

Charlotte: Yea, how could you let that happen.

Henry: Oh i like how all you two care about is how some robbers got away instead of being worried about what happened to me? You guys don't even ask if I'm ok! He paused. Yea what great "best friends" you guys are. He rolled his eyes.

Charlotte: And what is that supposed to mean?

Henry: Oh I'm sorry you don't get it. Im saying that you two are being awful friends.

Ray: Kid! Don't say that to them.

Henry: What? Don't tell the truth? You know your not any better then them.

Ray: Henry, why don't you go home, and come back when your thinking straight again.

Henry: Yea no thank you.

Ray: What?

Henry: Im tired of being treated like a mistake around here, like you all hate me. You know what, I quit.

Ray: Henry..

Henry: No Ray, i quit. Jasper i know you've always wanted to be Kid Danger, so heres your chance. I know neither of you are actually going to try and talk me out of this so... He pointed to Charlotte & Jasper.

The two just rolled their eyes and turned back around to look at the monitors. Ray didn't say anything, he just stood their in shock as he watched his now ex-sidekick placing his watch on the side table and walked to the elevator. Henry got in the elevator and before the doors closed he said..

Henry: I would say see you guys around, but i bet i won't so... and the doors shut.

Henry made his way home, which he didn't really want to go home but he had no where else to go. Henry didn't like home because his parents don't like him, they think he's a disappointment because he doesn't do the best in school. Piper always just yells and argues with him, so Henry knew she didn't like him. When Henry walked into his house, his parents and piper were sitting on the couch. They looked up at him, rolled their eyes and went back to what they were doing. Henry just made his way upstairs to his room and closed the door behind him.

Henry: Oh i just love life. He said sarcastically to himself. 

Henry went into the bathroom and locked the door behind him. He looked at himself in the mirror and started talking to himself.

Henry: Would people even be sad if i was gone? Would they actually care. he paused. Probably not cause no body likes me. My ex-boss and best friends hate me for something out of my control and my family hates me for being stupid.

Henry leaned against the door and slid down it until he was sitting on the floor. He pulled his legs up to his chest and started to cry. Henry was also getting bullied at school from Mitch which means nobody at school liked him. Henry just felt so alone, like no one cares about him. He looked around the bathroom and spotted a little hand-held mirror.

Henry: Maybe just a little cut wouldn't be to harmful.

Henry grabbed the mirror and quietly smashed it. He grabbed a piece of broken glass and held it to his wrist. He made a small cut and winced in pain. But after he made one small cut, he didn't want to stop. He made more and more cuts, they slightly got bigger. Blood was all over his arm, shirt and the floor. Henry was half out of it from losing so much blood. Henry dropped the shard of broken glass.

Henry: Well that felt goo- all he saw was black.

--Small Time Skip--

Piper made her way upstairs because she needed to use the bathroom. When she got to the door and tried to open it, it was locked. She knocked and yelled "Henry! Get out i need to go!" She got no response, which worried her a little. She repeatedly called Henrys name but still no response. 

A/N: I forgot to mention that henry and piper's parents left, which left Piper and Henry home alone. :)

Piper pulled out a bobbie pin from her hair and started to pick the lock. Once she heard the click, she put the bobbie pin back in her hair and opened the door. Horrified at the sight of her brother laying on the bathroom floor, unconscious with blood everywhere. She quickly leaned down to her brothers side.

Piper: Henry! She shook him a few times. God, Henry wake up please! No response

Piper quickly grabbed her phone and called 9-1-1. An ambulance came as quick as they could to their house. They took Henry to the hospital and Piper tried calling their parents but they didn't care. Piper called Charlotte, and told her that Henry was in the hospital. Charlotte told Ray and Jasper and the three of them quickly made their way to the hospital.

--Time Skip--

The three rushed into Henry's room, Piper was sitting by her brothers side and was silently crying.

Charlotte: What happened?

Piper: I-i don't know. I went upstairs because i needed to use the bathroom but the door was locked. I called out to Henry but no response. When i finally was able to pick the lock, he was unconscious on the floor with a  puddle of blood around him. A tear slid down her face. 

Charlotte, Jasper and Ray all started to tear up as they looked at Henry, laying on the hospital bed sleeping. The doctor walked in.

Ray: Whats up with him Doc?

Doctor: It seems as your friend here was cutting himself. He lost to much blood and passed out. 

Ray's POV:

How could Henry cut himself? What made him want to do that?

Ray: Will he be ok? I asked with worry building up inside.

Doctor: Yes, he will be fine. Im going to have to check up on him when he awakes though.

I nodded and the doctor left the room. I looked over at Charlotte and Jasper who were now full on crying. I can't imagine how they feel seeing their best friend like this. I don't even know how i feel looking at the kid laying there with his wrists bandaged up. My eyes then made there way to Piper. She was holding her brothers and hand and crying, she was clearly tired, and she needs to sleep.

Ray: Hey, um Piper you look pretty tired. I think you should go home and rest.

Piper: Go home? And leave my brother here?

Ray: Hey, hes gonna be ok. He will be able to go home soon, you need to sleep. Same with you Charlotte and Jasper. I say as i turn to look at them.

Jasper: Ok. But, if anything happens or something... call us.

Charlotte: Come on Piper, we'll take you home.

The three of them walked out of the room, leaving me and Henry. I walked over and sat in the chair beside him. God it hurt so much seeing him like this. Ive never told him this but i see him like the son i never had. It shattered my heart when he quit, wait... is this why he cut himself?

Before i was able to answer my own question in my head, i fell asleep. 

--Time Skip--

Third Person:

It had been a little less than an hour before Ray woke up. Henry was still out. After a few more minutes Ray heard a soft groan beside him. Henry was slowly starting to wake up.

Ray: Kid. He smiled slightly

Once Henry had realized it was Ray that was beside him, he didn't say anything, he just quickly looked away from Ray.

Ray: Come on Kid, look at me.

Henry stayed silent, before Ray could say anything else the doctor came into the room.

Doctor: Good to see your awake Henry. 

Henry: Yea, um when can i leave?

Doctor: Very soon, let me go get the prescription that you need to take, and then you can leave. Sound good?

Henry nodded, and the doctor left the room. Ray turned his attention back to Henry.

Ray: Kid, come on talk to me...

Henry shook his head and continued to not make eye contact with Ray. The doctor came back with the pills for Henry, and as soon as he said Henry could leave, he was up out of the bed and was gone. Ray ran after him and followed him as best as he could. Eventually he lost him, he didn't want to give up so he went to the man cave and tried to track him there.

--Time Skip--

Ray was back at the man cave and was trying to find Henry, but since he wasn't in his suit it was harder to find him. All of a sudden Ray heard the sound of someone coming down the elevator, he turned around and when the elevator opened Jasper and Charlotte walked out.

Ray: I thought you guys went home to go to sleep?

Charlotte: We can't sleep. So we decided to come here.

Jasper: I just can't believe it.

Ray: What?

Jasper: What would push Henry to start cutting himself?

As Ray started to say something, he was interrupted by the crime alert. Ray answered the call and said his signature line.

--The Call--

Ray: Hello whats your emergency?

Citizen: Um hello, Captain Man?

Ray: Yes ma'am your talking to Captain Man. Whats wrong.

Citizen: I was up at the swellview sign, and i saw a boy just standing on it. Im not sure if he's going to jump. Please hurry.

Ray: Ill be right there. 

--End of Call--

Ray blew a bubble and turned into Captain Man, quickly making his way to the tubes. After he left the Man Cave he ran as quickly as he could to the Swellview sign. In the back of Ray's mind was a thought that terrified him. What if its Henry up there? That only made him run faster.

Ray finally got to the sign, and calmly walked somewhat close to the boy on the sign. No body was around.

Ray: Alright kid, please just back away from the edge...

Henry: Why?

The second Ray heard that voice, his fear levels tripled, that was his best friend.

Ray: Henry. Come on, you can't jump.

Henry: Why shouldn't I? He turned around and faced Ray. Who would care if i was gone? I get bullied at school, my parents and my sister all hate me because they think I'm stupid just because i don't get amazing grades. Charlotte and Jasper think I'm a mess up, and so do you just because i let a few harmless robbers get away. 

He paused and a tear rolled down his cheek. Ray was also tearing up.

Henry: I just-I just don't have anyone here that loves me anymore...

Ray: Thats not true Henry. Your parents don't hate you, they love you so much. And Piper loves you more than you know. When i sent her home to sleep she tried so hard to convince me to let her stay. She didn't want to leave your side Henry. And Charlotte, Jasper and I do not think your a mess up. Im sorry we made you feel like that. Im sorry for getting mad at you for letting a criminal get away when you were hurt. Come on kid, you are far more loved than you know. Just step down from the ledge please.

Henry was hesitant, but he slowly made his way from the edge. Ray quickly pulled Henry into a tight hug as a few of his own tears fell from his face. It broke his heart hearing how his best friend feels. Henry was crying into Ray's chest.

Henry: I-I am s-so so-sorry. he sniffled.

Ray: Dont apologize, its not your fault. Do you feel ok talking with a therapist?

Henry nodded his head.

A few Months late:

Henry's POV:

Ive been going to therapy for the past couple months and its helped a lot. Im feeling a lot better and more like myself. Ray offered me to be Kid Danger again, so thats going good. The cuts on my wrist have healed but they left scars. Everything was going back to normal, and i couldn't be happier. :)

Hey guys, this is a one-shot but it also happens to be the longest thing I've ever written on here so far :) I hope you enjoyed reading this. I also want to make is very clear that if any of you are having these types of thoughts or are self harming, I'm always here to talk to or just listen. I can promise you things will get better. Throughout this quarantine I've been having troubles myself and its been difficult but having someone to just talk to helped me. So I'm always here. <3
