In Alfheim, With Leafa

Sugu logged back in after dealing with her brother situation and talking to you over the phone in the real world. When she logged on, she took a look around before sighing and looking to the floor, seeing she was back in front of the tree again.

Leafa's Thoughts: But what can I say?....And then Y/N-I mean, P/N-kun....

When she thought of you and what the two of you talked about, she smiled and got off the railing she was leaning on.As she walked forward, someone had called out to her.

???: Leafa-chan!

Leafa looked up to see who it was and yelped when Recon was right in her face.

Leafa: Whaaa!! *steps back a bit and raises hands up*

Recon: I've been looking for you everywhere, Leafa-chan.

Leafa: R-Recon? Didn't the Salamanders catch you? 

Recon: I poisoned them all and escaped. *smirks*

Leafa: Poisoned them? 

Recon: And then, I followed you. Hey...Where's P/N and that Spriggan? 

Leafa: Well...I said something mean to him, Kirito-kun...Something I shouldn't have said. I'm an idiot.

She wiped a tear away as the situation popped back into her head, much to her disagreement. She smiled as she looked back towards him.

Leafa: I'm sorry for saying weird stuff. I won't be seeing Kirito-kun anymore, and probably not P/N-kun, so let's go back to Sylvein.

Recon: Leafa-chan...

She walked down the long stairs in downcast as Recon stared at her. He gritted his teeth before sprinting ahead and stopping in front of her.

Recon: Leafa-chan! 

He grabbed both her hands into his and got uncomfortably close to her face.

Recon: You can't cry, Leafa-chan!

Leafa: Wh-What?

Recon: If you aren't smiling, you aren't really Leafa-chan. I...I'll always stay with you! I'll never leave you alone, here on in the real world!

Leafa: Wai-

Recon: I-I...I like you, Leafa-chan...Suguha-chan!

Leafa: *gasps* Umm.....

Leafa was leaning far back as Recon suddenly went to kiss her. She was about to push him away when a metal hand clasped down on her shoulder and moved her.

???: Who are you to talk to my Sylph girl like that?

Recon was punched square in the face and sent flying down the stairs as Leafa was surprised to see it was you who moved her. Recon rolled down the stairs a good 5 times before stopping and laying on his back.

P/N: Tch, you stay away from my woman.

Leafa: A-Are you okay?

He rubbed his back and slowly came back up the stairs while uttering in pain.

Recon: *sugh* It's strange...I was positive the only question left was if I'd have the guts to ask you out...

Leafa: *sighs and crosses arms* You really are a moron, aren't you? 

She began to giggle much to you and Recon's confusion.

Leafa: *giggles* I could learn a thing or two from you sometimes.

P/N: Not too much though, and you keep your distance away from my woman. *points to Recon*

Recon: Y-Yes, sir.

P/N: Come on, he's waiting in Arun for us.  

You took her hand into yours and swept her off her feet. You took off to the city as Leafa could only look at you and feel a sense of relief and nuzzled closer to your chest. After minutes of flying, you came upon a floating plaza that was empty, all except for one player. You landed and stood to the side as you watched Kirito and Leafa stare at each other.

Kirito: Hey.

Leafa: Here I am.

Kirito: Sugu...

She raised her hand and stopped him from speaking as she wanted to talk.

Leafa: Brother, let's have a duel. Let's finish what we started.

Kirito watched in surprise as she drew her sword from her sheath. He smiled and placed his hand on the hilt of his sword.

Kirito: This time, no handicaps. *draws sword and takes stance* 

As you watched, you noticed the position that Leafa took was all too familiar to you.

P/N's Thoughts: So she does Kendo as well?....Gotta marry her.

She smiled when she saw him take his stance and readied herself for the duel.

Leafa: That's why he seemed so accomplished. Here I go!

You watched as Leafa dashed straight forward and forced Kirito to block her straight attack. He tried to cut her horizontally, but she flew up into the air and flew through the pillars of the plaza as he followed her. He caught up and they bashed their blades once before she flew off again and high in the sky. The two of them landed on floating pieces of rock as you hovered in the air a few feet away. You took off your helmet to get a good view of the duel and watched as Leafa stared down at Kirito. She raised her sword above her head and you noticed the tears in her eyes. The two of them dashed forwards and Kirito swung his sword to its fullest. What he didn't know would happen was that she had let go of her sword and fell towards his strike. He couldn't stop his attack, and just when he was going to cut her in half...

*SLASH* 

Leafa opened her eyes and noticed her health hadn't gone down. She looked to see you had caught her, and caught the sword with your hand, cutting it and draining some of your HP. You pushed the sword away and floated around with her in your arms as she stared into your eyes.

Leafa: Why?

P/N: Your form could be better.

Leafa: P/N-kun?

P/N: He wants to apologize, believe me. It hurt him too, but you gotta cut him some slack. He hasn't really returned from that world yet. Neither have I, which is why I'm always on here. During my time trapped in SAO with them, I know that things will never be the same for Kirito until she wakes up. Just wait for your brother to really come back, and while you wait....

You hugged her closer to you as you stared deep in her eyes. She was mesmerized by your irises and you both suddenly started to lean closer to each other.

P/N:...I'll be right there next to you, holding you and never letting go.

Leafa: P/N-kun...

You both leaned closer and closer until finally your lips met in a passionate and gentle lock. You held the kiss for a few minutes until you pulled away and saw she had a blush on her face and a smile. You smiled as well and leaned your forehead on hers.

P/N: *chuckles* Who would've thought that we'd find love along the way?

Leafa: Thank you, P/N-kun. I like you.

P/N: I like you too. When this is over, let's meet up again in the real world. I'll take you out to dinner or something like that.

Kirito: It better be nice too.

You looked at Kirito who watched everything before scoffing and waving him off.

P/N: What? You got a thing for watching people kiss?

Leafa: *giggles* He's a pervert.

Kirito: Am not!

P/N: Then why'd you watch?

Kirito: I didn't know it would happen! *sigh* Treat her good, P/N. 

P/N: Yeah, I will. Now then...

You floated to Kirito and looked at both of them before looking at the World Tree.

P/N: Let's go save Asuna.

Kirito&Leafa: Roger!

At The World Tree

The three of you were walking back up the stairs towards the gate as Recon was staring at you all in confusion as Leafa was latched onto your arm.

Recon: Um...Wh-What's going on? 

Leafa: We're raiding the World Tree...P/N-kun, Kirito-kun, you, and me. The four of us.

Recon: A-All right...Wait...What!?

P/N: Yui, are you here?

Yui popped up from out of no where and landed on Kirito's shoulder.

Yui: What is it, Uncle P/N? Daddy?

Kirito: Did you learn anything from our fight with the guardians?

Yui: Their individual stats aren't very high. But there are too many. I have to assume that completion of this quest was never meant to be possible.

P/N: So together, they all add up to a single, unbeatable boss?

Yui: However, with your skill stats, it may be possible for you to break through with speed.

P/N: Speed huh? I think I got something for that. We just need the right opening. Kirito, this is a bit more important to you. Take the lead.

He nodded at your request as he went and stood in front of the gates and looked at the three of you.

Kirito: Everyone. I'm sorry to ask, but could you help me with my problem again? Somehow, I feel like there isn't much time left.

P/N: *places fist on chest* I'm with you til the end.

Leafa: I'll do whatever I can. And so will he. *nudges Recon*

Recon: Heh? Well, Leafa-chan and I are always together.

Leafa: *punches Recon in back of the head* Don't be stupid!

Recon: *holds head in pain* I'm sorry...

You walked towards Kirito and held out your fist as your helmet was down. You stared at him with a smirk as he smiled back.

P/N: Let's do our best.

Leafa walked forward and placed her hand on top of yours as she leaned on your shoulder. Recon flailed around before putting both his hands on top of hers as you growled at him and Leafa let out a nervous giggle. Kirito smiled and placed his hand on top as Yui sat on the top of your hands.

Kirito: Thanks, you three. Me and P/N will draw the guardians away. If you can heal us from the rear, you shouldn't be in danger. Let's go.

You all nodded in agreement as you equipped your helmet and went towards the gate. Once inside, you all took flight and you and Kirito went to take the lead. You drew your sword back above your head and channeled your magic into it.

P/N: WIND SCAR!!!!!

You slashed towards the walls of the tree, creating a massive explosion of fire on the walls. This caused the guardians to spawn quickly and take their sights towards you as they drew their weapons. Leafa and Recon were in the back, far from the guardians as they chanted spells to keep you and Kirito topped on HP. You flew straight towards the hoard of them and sliced ten down in one slash. 

P/N: NOW THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!! HAHAHA!!!!!! MORE!!!!! GIVE ME MORE TO KILL!!!!!!!! RAAAAAHH!!!! *cuts down 4 more*

You and Kirito were quickly dispatching guardians left and right. Every time he would cut down two, you'd cut down six. When you'd slice four into nothing, he would dispatch of six more. Recon and Leafa watched in awe as the two of you battled on.

Recon: Wow...

Leafa: But there are too many!

You and Kirito watched as countless more spawned from the walls above you, and create a wall that blocked you off from the top. You stepped back a bit as you glared and tightened your grip around the hilt of your blade.

P/N: I don't even think my magic can cut through that...And I need to save it for when we have an opening! GYA!! *cuts down 3 more*

Kirito: There's no end to them...

The guardians were like insects as they charged towards you and hit you as they flew by. You and Kirito were taking many hits that weren't blockable and Leafa looked to Recon for help.

Leafa: Recon!

Recon: Right!

The used their magic and healed you and gave you some shields to mitigate the damage you would take. The guardians however took note of this and turned their sights on Leafa and Recon.

Recon: Wh-Why are they targeting us?

Leafa: They're probably using a different targeting algorithm from the monsters outside. Dividing our roles this way is futile.

Leafa was about to fly up to help you and Kirito when Recon grabbed her hand.

Recon: Wait!

Leafa: Recon?

Recon: Leafa-chan, I don't really understand all this, but this is important, right?

Leafa: It is. I don't think it's just a game. Not right now.

Recon suddenly puffed up his face as he seemed terrified but determined as well.

Recon: Then, I'll help!

Leafa: Huh!? 

He suddenly flew towards a large mass of guardians as he held out his hand and began to chant a spell. He swiped his hand across the air towards them as a whole row of guardians were cut down and disappeared into data.

Leafa: Y-You idiot! Oh, no...

She held her hand and healed Kirito and you once more as you sliced down hundred after hundred of guardians. Two guardians slipped pass you and went towards Leafa. You were going to save her but Recon beat you to it, and cut them down again with his magic.

Leafa: Recon, that's enough...Get outside!

Recon turned around and smiled at Leafa as she was stunned by his actions. He threw his flight controller away and held out both his hands as he began to chant a high level spell.

Leafa: That's dark magic...

P/N: FOOL!!! YOU'LL KILL YOURSELF!!!!

A large mass of magic was gathering around him, and he screamed as he let out the final chant of the spell, and a bright light and explosion occurred, opening a gaping hole in the guardians defense.

Leafa: Self-destruct magic? The death penalty for that is really harsh...You're such a fool! *clenches eyes shut*

P/N: KIRITO!! ON ME! IT'S OUR ONE CHANCE!!!

Kirito: Right! 

You cut down guardians left and right as Kirito flew behind you and you both were heading towards the opening created by Recon. Suddenly, a large wave of guardians blocked you path and knocked you both back. You saw them throw their swords so you punched Kirito towards Leafa as you were impaled by multiple blades.

P/N: GAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!

Kirito: P/N!!!!!

Leafa watched with her mouth covered as you were kicked away from the guardians.

Leafa: No...

The opening quickly closed, and you stopped your fall as your HP was critical. Leafa raised her hands to use magic as tears were streaming down her face.

Leafa: No...This is impossible...This is just...

She healed you as your health entered the green again and you took your stance, glaring towards the guardians. Two guardians slipped pass you and surrounded Kirito and Leafa. They raised their swords to cut the two of them down, but just when they were going to strike....

???: RRRRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of you and the guardians turned towards the gate and what you saw surprised you. Coming from the gate was the Sylph raid squads that consisted of almost a hundred players. Flying after them were the Caith Sith with their dragoons.

Kirito: The Sylphs?

Leafa: But why?

The guardians retreated back to their defensive position as you flew down towards Leafa. You heard the roars of the dragons as they flew towards their offensive positions.

Leafa: Flying dragons? The Cait Sith dragoons? 

Suddenly, Sakuya and Alicia arrived and floated next to you as you lowered your helmet.

P/N: I'll be damned...how are you two doing?

Sakuya: Sorry we're late.

Lu: Sorry! It took some time to ready our gear.

P/N: Better late than never. We need some heavy fire on that front row of guardians of the hoard. Do that, and it'll buy me an opening to use my magic to break through their wall.

Sakuya&Lu: Roger! *both fly off*

Leafa: Sakuya! Alicia!

They took their positions at the head of the assault and directed their raid teams for the attack.

Lu: Dargoons, ready breath attack!

Sakuya: Sylphs, prepare additional offensive!

The guardians flew towards their attack line with their swords pointed straight towards them as the dragoons aimed their sights on them.

Lu: Fire breath...Go!

The Cait Sith fired their fire breath towards the first line of defense, making hundreds of guardians fall and explode into data. The Sylphs were next to take the offensive. 

Sakuya: Fenrir Storm...Fire!

The Sylph raid team fired magic from their long swords and cut down another hundred from the line of defense.

P/N: Nice job!

Leafa: Thank you! Thank you both so much!

Sakuya: No need to thank us. We owe those two Spriggans quite a lot.

Lu: And we only had money for the raid because of him.

Leafa smiled and wiped a tear of joy away as Sakuya closed her fan that she held and pointed it onward.

Sakuya: All forces, charge!

Sylphs&Cait Sith: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cait Sith and Sylphs charged forward and began a full-scale attack on the World Tree as you were charging as much magic as you could into your sword.

The dragoons would breathe fire on the guardians and everytime a Sylph was cut down, five would take ten heads from the guardians.

Sakuya: Don't be afraid! Keep going!

The guardians locked their sights on Sakuya and were heading to attack her. She was about to draw her sword when suddenly Leafa flew passed her and cut down the guardians that were heading towards her. Leafa was now fully engaged in the battle and cut down countless guardians, and one that was behind Kirito.

Kirito: Sugu...

She smiled and went back to back as the two of them held their ground together.

Kirito: Watch my back! 

Leafa: Leave it to me. 

The two of them began to charge towards the defensive line and cut down the guardians in front of them. Sakuya saw the opportunity and directed all forces to their position.

Sakuya: Follow them!

Sylphs&Cait Sith: ROGER!!!

There were explosions everywhere inside the tree and guardians and players were dropping left and right. It was a sloppy battle, but then you saw another opening in their defensive line beginning to form.

P/N: SAKUYA!!!! PULL THEM ALL AWAY! IT'S GONNA BE A BIG ONE!!

Sakuya: Everyone! Retreat!!!

They all fell back as you flew towards the hoard in front of you. The guardians began to pile on one another and streamed towards you like a flowing river. 

P/N: Hmph! Try and hold your defense against my ultimate attack! BACKLASH WAVE!!!!!!!!!!

You slashed your sword down towards the guardians as a massive spiral of magic was fired towards them. It engulfed every guardian in its path a blew a hole right through their lines. 

P/N: KIRITO! NOW!!!!

Kirito: RIGHT!

You both pointed your swords towards the guardians and knocked every single fuardian that came close to you. A huge spiral of magic began to form around the two of you as you both soared towards the top of the tree. Leafa watched from below as the two of you kept going higher and higher.

Leafa: Go...Go, Brother, P/N-kun. GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

P/N&Kirito: KYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You cut down each guardian in front of you and soon, you broke through the barrier that was between you and the entrance to the Tree, and impaled the stone above you. The opening you blasted through closed once again as Sakuya just smiled and turned towards everyone.

Sakuya: Everyone, fall back! We're withdrawing!

Everyone: Roger!

The raid teams began to fall back towards the gate as Leafa could only stare at the wall of guardians that you and Kirito were now passed.

Leafa's Thoughts: Fly...Fly forever, Keep flying through the sky...To the center of the world.

P/N: DAMMIT!

P/N: Why won't it open!?

You and Kirito were currently stuck on the stone slab that was in front of you. You were bashing on it with your sword as Kirito could only stare in confusion.

P/N: What the hell are we suppose to do with this!? *tries to force it open with sword but fails* Grr...Yui! 

Yui flew out of Kirito's pocket and went to see what was wrong with the entrance. When she examined it closer, she was shocked. 

Yui: Daddy, this door isn't locked by a quest flag. It's locked by the system administrators.

P/N: What!?

Kirito: What do you mean?

Yui: Players were never intended to open this door!

P/N: THAT'S BULLSHIT!!! *bashes sword repeatedly on door* OPEN!!! OPEN UP!!!!!! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING THIS TO US!!!!?????!?!?!? AGH!!!! THIS GAME IS BULLSHIT!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE POINT OF ALL THIS THEN!??!?! DAMMIT ALL!!!!!!!!! *bashes sword on door one last time*

Suddenly, you heard a strange noise and saw more guardians spawning at the top where you both were. You glared at them as your eyes were blood red in anger.

P/N: COME ON THEN!! I'LL FIGHT YOU UNTIL THERE'S NO MORE OF YOU LEFT TO DIE!!

Kirito watched in disbelief, thinking this was the end. Just when he was going to give up, he remembered the card that fell from the top of the tree. It was a GM access code card.

Kirito: No, wait...Wasn't that...Yui, use this. *pulls out access code card*

She placed her hands on the card and it began to glow as she concentrated. When it stopped, she looked towards the door.

Yui: Transcribing code.

She placed her hands on the door and data lines began to shine on it as you inched back closer to Kirito.

P/N: They're almost here!

Suddenly, there was a shaking underneath you and the three of you flew up and  and saw the door opened below you.

Yui: It's going to teleport us. Daddy, Uncle P/N, your hand!

She grabbed onto both yours and Kirito's hands as the three of you began to glow. You glared towards the door gritted your teeth as you were teleported.

P/N's Thoughts: Almost there. Just hang on, Asuna. We're coming!
