Female Sylph: Shh! Their remain lights are still here.

You all waited a few seconds, and they finally disappeared.

P/N: Okay, they're gone, now then, spriggan, explain yourself. *leans against tree*

Both didn't know what to say, and there was a silence for a few seconds before she turned to Kirito.

Female Sylph: So what should I do now? Thank you? Run away? *raises sword* Or fight?

P/N's Thoughts: I'd like to see this.

Kirito: Personally, I see myself as the hero who just saved the princess.

P/N: That was me, and I saved you as well. If I had to say, crying and running into my arms would be a fine start for her, while you bowed down to me.

Kirito: Are you stupid!?

Female Sylph: SHUT UP! 

*BONK*

Kirito had a bump on his head as the girl was glaring at him.

Female Sylph: Watch who you're talking to!

P/N: Hahaha, I was only kidding.

???: Who are you? You're really strong!

All of a sudden, Yui flew out of Kirito's inner pocket, and onto his shoulder.

Kirito: Uhh....well, this is....

P/N: A personal Navigation Pixie.

Kirito: U-Uh, yeah, spot on actually.

Female Sylph: Anyways, why's a spriggan wandering around here?

Kirito: I-I got lost...

P/N: Man you must be one hell of an idiot.

The girl burst into a laughing fit when she heard this, as you smirked behind your mask.

Female Sylph: Hahahaha! Your territory is far east! Is it even possible to be that lost? You're so weird. Hahahaha!

She sheathed her sword as she had a normal composure now.

Female Sylph: Anyway, I should be thanking you two. Especially you, Sir P/N-Kun.

P/N: Mhmm.

Female Sylph: My name is Leafa.

Kirito: I'm Kirito, and this is Yui.

Leafa: Now then, Kirito-kun, P/N-kun....what will you do next? If you'd like, I could buy you drinks as thanks. Well?

Kirito: That would be nice.

P/N: I'll tag along, since it's on you. 

Kirito: Actually, I was looking for someone who could tell me some things.

Leafa: Like what?

Kirito: Like this world, and especially about that tree.

You all looked towards the giant tree that was off in the distance.

Leafa: That tree?

P/N: The world tree.

Leafa: Sure. I've been playing this game a long time. So has P/N-kun.

P/N: There's a neutral village up north. It's far, so let's just fly there.

Kirito: Isn't the town called Sylvein closer?

Leafa: You really don't know anything, do you? That's Sylph territory.

Kirito: So?

P/N: It means that you can't attack Sylphs in their territory, but they can attack you.

Kirito: They wouldn't just start attacking all of a sudden. And I have you two with me, Leafa-san, P/N-kun.

Leafa: Just call me  Leafa. 

P/N: Call me whatever, just watch what you do around me, I might want to kill you at some time. 

Leafa: If you insist, it's fine. But we can't guarantee you'll survive. Then, let's go.

You and Leafa turned and sprouted your wings, and Kirito was surprised.

Kirito: You can fly without the assist controller?

P/N: That thing is useless, can't you fly without them?

Kirito: I just learned how to use this...

Leafa: There's a trick to flying on your own. Turn around and don't use your controller.

Kirito: O-Okay.

He turned away from the both of you and spruted his wings, and while she was heading towards him, a devious idea popped into your head. Leafa placed a hand on his back.

Leafa: Can you tell where I'm touching you?

He nodded.

Leafa: Imagine virtual bones and muscles spreading out from here, and try to move them.

Kirito: Virtual bones and muscles...

His wings began to slowly jitter and flutter.

Leafa: Like that! Just like that. Try the same movement again, but stronger.

He began to push even harder, trying to make his wings flutter, but wasn't doing so well.

P/N: I'm bored, so fly!

You kicked his butt, and it sent him flying into the air, yelling in pain, and from the sudden action. You watched as he flew through the trees, and broke a few branches. You snickered seeing this, and looked to Leafa who looked shocked.

P/N: What? He was taking too long hot stuff.

She blushed madly at your comment, but then remembered Kirito.

Leafa: Oh, crap!

You all flew up, and looked around for Kirito.

Yui: Daddy! 

Leafa: Kirito-Kun! Are you okay!?

Kirito: AHHHHH!!!!!!!!

You turned to see Kirito doing figure 8's in the sky.

Kirito: Make it stop!

You were already chuckling, and Leafa and Yui looked at each other before bursting into a laughing fit.

Yui: I'm sorry, Daddy! That's hilarious!...

P/N's Thoughts: You're still the same crazy guy I met back in SAO. But you're terrible at this.

Timeskip

You were flying throughout the night, and you watched as Kirito was beginning to get the hang of it. He flew around doing a few twirls, and laughed the whole time.

Kirito: This is great!

Leafa: It is, right? You've got good instincts.

P/N: Alright, follow us.

Kirito: Alright.

You all began to fly towards Sylvein, and you stayed behind them, not really wanting to be a part of the group, in fear you might "accidentally" kill Kirito. 

Leafa: Go slow at first.

Kirito: We can go faster. *smirks* 

Leafa: Okay..*smirks and takes off*

She thought she had gotten a good distance between him and her, but when she turned, she saw you and her right behind her.

Kirito: Is this the fastest we can go?

Leafa: Don't blame me for whatever happens.

She took off once more, and went faster than last time. You were all going pretty fast, and Yui looked tired.

Yui: *tired sigh* I can't go on...

She tried to fly into Kirito's pocket, but was lazy, and missed. She flew straight onto your mask, and your eyes glowed red, making her scared.

Yui: S-Sorry!

P/N: Hold on.

Yui: Huh-WHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You suddenly took off at insane speeds, blowing past Leafa and Kirito. You saw the town coming into view, and made a sudden stop. Yui went flying off your mask, but you caught her just before she splat against the wall.

P/N: You alright?

Yui: I might be sick....

P/N: Well, we're here.

At that moment, you remembered something that seemed important.

P/N: Yui, does Kirito know how to land?

Yui: Uh oh..

You turned around only to see a flying Kirito heading straight towards you. Just as he was about to hit you, you stopped him with your hand. His face was buried in your palm.

Kirito: Th-Thank you..

P/N: I just didn't want you to hit me. You're still going to hit something so that I'm satisfied.

You looked down at the ground, and you smirked, and threw him straight down.

Kirito: You're kidding me!!!!!

*THUD*

You dropped down to the ground, and did a hero landing, and landed next to Kirito, who was laying on the floor in pain.

P/N: Man, that really is hard on the knees.

Kirito: Y-You're horrible, P/N.

P/N: What was that? *eyes glow and places hand on hilt of your sword*

Kirito: N-Nothing!

Leafa came over, and rushed to your side, and bowed apologetically.

Leafa: P/N-kun! Please, forgive his idiocy!

P/N: Hmmm, you better watch what you say. Don't think I won't slaughter you. I'm just itching for some action right now, and I have no problem digging into you.

Kirito: I-It hurts..

Leafa: It's okay, I'll heal you.

Leafa placed her hand out, and began to chant a healing spell on Kirito. Green sparkles floated around him for a bit, and disappeared as he regained his strength. 

Kirito: Wow, so this is magic? 

Leafa: Only Undines can use high-level healing magic.

P/N: It's an important spell though, so learn it. And it appears I have forgotten how to do it. *husky tone* Mind showing me, Leafa-san?~

Leafa: *blushes* S-Sure..later though..

P/N: Hmph, no fun.

Kirito: Wait, so different races get different bonuses? What are Spriggans good at?

P/N: We're only good at treasure hunting, and illusion magic. Nothing fancy, or useful. It's no use in battle.

Kirito: But, aren't you a Spriggan?

Leafa: P/N-kun has strengthened all other levels to their max. He's just now working on his illusions and treasure hunting.

Kirito let out a sigh, and did a back flip to get up. He stretched and yawned before looking around.

Kirito: So, this is a Sylph town? It's pretty.

P/N: Pretty disgusting.

Leafa: Baka! It's not! 

You slightly flinched at her words, and hung your shoulders. She regained her composure, and stood straight.

Leafa: It is, isn't it?

???: Leafa-chan!

You turned to see the scrawny kid that died during her battle running towards her, and waving.

Recon: You're okay!

Leafa: Ohh, Recon.

He stopped in front of you all, and put his hands on his knees, panting.

Recon: You're great, Leafa-chan.

He looked up, and saw Kirito, and when he did, he got VERY defensive.

Recon: A Spriggan!?

P/N: What was that? *eyes glow red*

Recon: EEP! P-P/N-kun!

P/N: Hmph.

Leafa: It's okay. They saved me. Well, he did, at least. *points at you*

Kirito: Gee, thanks.

P/N: I coulnd't just let a beautiful girl die now, could I?

Leafa: *Blushes* B-Baka! *regains composure* This is Recon, my friend.

Kirito: Hi, I'm Kirito. *holds out hand*

Recon: *scratches head and shakes hand* Nice to meet you...No...NO,no, no! *jumps back and readies blade* Are you sure about this? He isn't a spy or anything, is he?

Leafa: It's fine. He's a little too dim to be a spy.

Kirito: That's mean.

Recon: Sigurd and the rest saved you a seat at the usual tavern.

Leafa: Oh, okay. *puts hand to chin and begins to think* I'll pass today.

Recon: *shocked* Heh? You aren't coming?

Leafa: No, I promised Kirito-kun, and P/N-kun a drink for saving me. 

P/N: And she's not going to leave until I get my drink.

You grabbed her and Kirito by the arm, and began to drag them to a local pub.

Leafa: *waves while smiling and being dragged* See you later!

Kirito: W-Wait...

As you kept walking, you heard him speak in despair.

Recon: Leafa-chan...

Local Pub

You, Leafa, and Kirito were sat at a table with each other, and the waitress had just brought you your drinks. You looked at them for a moment before speaking.

P/N: Do not tell anyone about how I look under the mask, or I'll kill you over and over. 

Kirito&Leafa: Y-Yes!

You slowly began to lift the mask off your head, and once it came off, you revealed your face to them. You had (H/C) hair, and (E/C) eyes. Kirito looked at you, and had a bit of a shocked expression, while Leafa stared at you.

Leafa's Thoughts: Wow....so that's what he looks like under the mask?....so....hand-BAKA!! 

She blushed madly, and began to drink away at her drink. 

P/N: So, was that your boyfriend?

Yui: Your lover?

Leafa: Huh!? N-No! *shakes head rapidly* He's just a party member.

P/N: That's good, so I got a shot after all. *winks at Leafa, making her blush more*

Kirito: You seemed pretty close, though.

Leafa: I know him in real life. He's in my grade at school. But that's all! 

After a second of silence, she cleared her throat, and began to speak.

Leafa: Anyway...Thanks for saving! *raises cup*

You all clanged your drinks together, and in a few gulps, you downed your entire drink.

P/N: Ahhhh~ That was refreshing.

Kirito: They were pretty aggressive. Are group PK's like that common?

Leafa: Salamanders and Sylphs don't get along , to begin with. But an organized PK like that is pretty new. I'm sure they'll start trying to clear the World Tree soon.

P/N: Didn't you wanna know something about that, Kirito?

Kirito: Right, about that. I'd like you to tell me about the World Tree.

Leafa: You said something about that. But why?

Kirito: I want to get up there?

P/N: Speak for yourself.

Kirito: Huh?

Leafa: I think that's true for all the players.

P/N: That's ALO's Grand Quest.

Kirito: What do you mean?

Leafa: You know how you're limited to how high yo can go? And no race can continuously fly for more than ten minutes...

P/N: Same even applies to me.

Leafa: But the first race to reach the floating city atop the World Tree, and hold an audience with the Fairy King Oberon, will be reborn as an advanced class known as Alfs.

P/N: They'll be able to fly as much as they like.

Kirito: I see. That does sound nice. How do you get to the top of the World Tree.

P/N: The base is a big dome. You can reach the floating city from there. But the NPC guardians that defend the dome are extremely powerful.

Kirito: They're that strong?

Leafa: The game has been around for a full year. Would you believe no one's beaten the quest yet?

Kirito: Everyone must be missing a key quest. Or it's set so that one race can't get there by themselves.

Leafa: Heh, you have good instincts. Everyone's searching for a missed quest as hard as they can right now.

P/N: And once they have it, I'll take my chance, and steal the opportunity to take it.

Leafa: Riiiight...But if it's the latter, no one will ever clear it.

Kirito: No one?

P/N: It makes no damn sense. Why in the hell would you help another race in a quest if only one can clear it?

Kirito: Then, does that mean it's impossible to reach the top of the World Tree?

Leafa: I think so. But you can't just give up. Not once you see how fun it is to fly. Even if it takes years, someday...

Kirito: That's too long!

You and Leafa turned to him surprised by his outburst. His facial expression was stern, and angered. You had seen that face before...

???: THAT'S NOT FAIR!!

Yui flew onto his shoulder, and placed her hand on his cheek.

Yui: Daddy?

His expression calmed, and looked of sadness instead. 

Kirito: I'm sorry. But I need to reach the top of the World Tree.  

Leafa: Why is it..so important?

Kirito: I'm looking for someone..

Leafa: What do you mean?

Kirito: It's not easy to explain.

His eyes gloomed, and it looked as if he was depressed beyond belief. There was silence in the air, until he perked up, and broke it.

Kirito: Thank you, Leafa, P/N. That information helped a lot. 

You both sat in silence, and just when he was about to leave, Leafa grabbed his arm, making him stop.

Leafa: Wait. Are you going to the World Tree?

Kirito: Yes, I need to see for myself.

He broke free of her grasp as you spoke while placing back your helmet.

P/N: *places on helmet* It's crazy...it's a long journey there, and there's some nasty, strong monsters. You may think you're strong, but you're just gonna get yourself killed over and over. If you want that, suit yourself.

Just as he was about to open the door, she spoke up.

Leafa: Then, I'll take you there!

You both turned to Leafa, surprised by her offer.

Kirito: But I couldn't ask that of someone I just met.

Leafa: *stomping towards Kirito* Do you know how to get there? What about the Guardians?

Kirito: *sweatdrop* Well, I'll think of something. 

Leafa: *stops* It's fine. I've already made up my mind!

Kirito: Fine.

Leafa: Um...can you log on, tomorrow?

Kirito: Y-Yeah.

Leafa: Then be here at 3:00 PM. I have to log off. You can use the rooms upstairs to log out. See you tomorrow.

Kirito: W-Wait!

She turned to him, and saw a smile on his face.

Kirito: Thank you.

She was about to log off, but then remembered you. She turned to see you were sat there, arms crossed, breathing through your mask.

Leafa: Will you be on tomorrow?

P/N: I will, but...

You pulled up your log out option, and turned to them.

P/N: ...I won't be fighting along side you. *logs out*

They stood there, confuse by what just happened.

Kirito: Man, I felt a bad vibe come off him right now.

Leafa: Was it something I said?

Real World, L/N Residence

You opened your eyes, and sat up from your bed. You placed your amusphere on your nightstand, and ran your fingers through your hair.

Y/N's Thoughts: *sigh* Of course she wouldn't want to party with me at first. Ohh well...

You picked up your kendo training sword, and stepped into your training room.

Y/N's Thoughts: No point in moping about it...

Y/N: HYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
