L/N Residence

The T.V. could be heard from the kitchen, as the news reporter was talking about the incidents that followed the log out of all players from SAO, or Sword Art Online.

Reporter: It has now been two months since the players of SAO or Sword Art Online, have been released from the fearful game. Scientist and game researchers are still unable to identify what caused the few remaining survivors to stay asleep and attached to their NerveGear helmets.

The sounds of a blunt object and grunting could be heard slicing through the air as the report continued.

Reporter: We have learned that-

???: Charles, could you please turn it off? It's distracting.

Charles: Of course sir.

The butler made his way to the T.V. and shut it off. He looked back to the center of the large room to see a teen who had (H/L) (H/C) hair, and (E/C) eyes sweating and breathing heavily as he practiced with his training sword.

Charles: Sir Y/N, would you like me to prepare your lunch?

Y/N: No, I can do it. Take the day off.

Charles: But sir, I've already had too many days off, still receive the same pay which is too much. You are over working yourself.

Y/N: It's fine Charles. Go ahead and spend time with your grand daughter. I know she misses you.

Charles: Then who will be here to take care of you? You've sent all the staff home for a day off. We're quite worried about you.

Y/N: I can take care of myself. Now go, before I change my mind and make you do the laundry.

Charles: I wouldn't mind doing it.

Y/N: Charles..

Charles: *sigh* Okay, but when I come in tomorrow, I am staying full time and fulfilling my job to your family-

Y/N: My family is gone. I don't need anyone pampering me. I appreciate everything you do, but I can do things myself. Now go.

He put his head down in sadness and left you alone. You took a stance with your sword once more and began to swing it around in a beautiful, flowing motion. Each swing you could hear the air getting sliced. And with one final swing, you slashed the air, sending a breeze towards the counter top and sent papers flying off of it. You sighed and walked over to pick them up. You put down your training sword and stepped out to the patio to overlook your huge backyard. You see the luscious, green forest in front of you, and began to remember all your times you would go on adventures to try and level up to get stronger in SAO. As you reminisced your past, you took out your phone and looked at the time to see it was 5:17 in the afternoon.

Y/N's Thoughts: Time to have some fun I guess.

You walked back into your home and went to the third level of it, and walked into the master bedroom. It was huge with a massive, queen sized bed. You changed out of your sweaty clothes and put fresh ones on. You walked over and laid on the soft cloud that was your mattress and put on your amusphere that was on the nightstand next to your bed. You laid flat and relaxed before finally deciding to enter the world beyond this one.

Y/N: Link Start.

In Alfheim Online

You opened your eyes and saw your sight was red. You felt your armor around you, and looked at the palm of your hand. You closed it, ad opened it, then clenched it once more into a fist.

P/N: Ahhh, it feels good to be back.

You looked to see you were in the forest you were last logged in, and walked to the lake. You could see your armor in the reflection, and felt a warm feeling in your cold heart.

P/N: Now then, where am I close to?

You walked around the forest for a bit, but then something caught your attention. A bright light shined in the distance, and then dim down.

P/N: What was that?

You walked over to where you saw the light, and saw what looked to be another spriggan and a little girl floating in the air.

P/N's Thoughts: Another spriggan? Quite far from the others, and he looks like he's new to the game. But who's the little girl? 

You kept in the shadows and waited to see what would happen. Just then, the spriggan began to talk.

???: It's me, Yui! Do you remember me?

When the girl looked at him, she began to tear up, and smile.

Yui: I got to see you again, daddy!

???: Yui...

They both stared at each other with smiles on their faces.

P/N's Thoughts: Who are these two?

She floated down into his arms as they held each other tightly.

Yui: Daddy! Daddy! *hugs tighter* Daddy...

???: Miracles really do happen.

You saw them walk over to a log that hung just over a small creek of water, and sat down, with the girl on her lap. You followed closely, sticking to the trees.

???: So, what's going on here?

She looked up at him in confusion as he continued to explain.

???: We aren't inside SAO.

You jumped in your armor a little when he said SAO. You had quick flashbacks of everything that happened, all the pain, suffering, loneliness.....death....

P/N's Thoughts: So....he's an SAO survivor....who are you?...

???: It's another game, called Alfheim Online.

Yui: Hold on a second.

She placed her hands on the sides of her head, and closed her eyes.

Yui: This world is a copy of the Sword Art Online servers.

???: A copy?

Yui: Yes. The engine, programming, and graphics format are identical. But the version of the Cardinal system is a little outdated.

???: RCT took over operations after Argus, the original company that made SAO. In other words, RCT took Argus's programs and is using them. But why is my personal data here?

Yui: Let me have a look at your data, Daddy.

She closed her eyes once more.

P/N: Is she some sort of A.I.? Strange....

Yui: This is definitely your character data from SAO. The save data format is nearly identical, so any skills common to both games had their skills overwritten.

???: Come to think of it, my dual wielding was gone.

Yui: Your items appear too be lost, as well. You should delete them before the error correction program finds them.

???: I see.

P/N's Thoughts: This is gonna be painful to watch.

You watched as he pulled up his items and the delete all option popped up. He hesitated at first, and looked in pain, then finally pressed the "Yes" button, and you cringed.

P/N's Thoughts: The worst feeling in the world...

He let out a painful sigh as the girl looked towards him.

???: Now them, what about my skill levels?

Yui: Your skills shouldn't be a problem unless a human game master sees them.

???: O-Okay...I'm not a beater anymore. I'm just a cheater.

P/N's Thoughts: Beater?......W-WAIT!!

Flashback to SAO, First Floor Boss

You were part of the group that had defeated the first floor boss, and you watched as the person, named Kirito, had slain the boss. As everyone was taking a break from the tough battle, someone raised their voice.

???: Why!?

You all turned to see Kibaou on his knees.

Kibaou: Why did you let Diabel die?

Kirito: Let him die?

Kibaou: Of course! You knew that technique the boss used! If you'd told us about that upfront,  he wouldn't have died!

???: He must be a beta tester! That's how he knew all the boss's attack patterns. He knew, but didn't tell us! Other beta testers are here, too, right!? Come out!

Everyone around you began to stare daggers at each other as they began to wonder if the person they were next to was really a beta tester. As everyone began to gather around closer, and turn more hostile, it all stopped when you could hear Kirito laughing.

Kirito: Hahahahaha!...A beta tester? I wish you wouldn't compare to me those newbies.

???: W-What!?

He began to walk through the crowd and make his way towards the stairs.

Kirito: Most of the thousand beta testers were beginners who didn't even know how to level up. You guys are better than they are. But I'm not like them. I made it higher than anyone else in the beta test. The reason I knew the boss's skills is because I fought monsters with katana skills on floors far above us. I know a lot more. Way more than any information broker.

Kibaou: W-What? That's...That's way worse than a beta tester! You're cheating! A cheater!

???: Yeah, a cheater!

???: A beta tester, and a cheater...A beater!

That name echoed in your head as you stared at Kirito.

P/N's Thoughts: Kirito, you say you made it to the highest floor before any other tester.....If I remember correctly, that was me....beater huh?

Present

P/N's Thoughts: K-....K-....

You stared in shock, as the two of them sat on the log.

P/N's Thoughts: K-Kirito...

Kirito and Yui began to converse once more as you were there, shocked.

Kirito: How's the system treating you, Yui?

Yui: Let's see...I'm classified as a player-support artificial personality program, a Navigation Pixie.

P/N's Thoughts: Navigation Pixie?

All of a sudden, she was engulfed in a white light that forced Kirito to cover his eyes while you just squinted. She changed forms, and was much smaller than before.

Deciding you had enough excitement for now, you hopped off the tree you were in and walked the other direction.

P/N's Thoughts: However much I wanna say hi, I shouldn't.

As you were walking, you could feel something coming, more like someone.

P/N: Players nearby...

You looked up in the sky to see two players flying, one male, and the other female, and both Sylphs. The male looked small and scrawny and small, while the girl looked quite beautiful, with long blonde hair and green eyes. You watched them, until you saw that behind them were more players, Salamanders to be exact. They sent fire balls towards them as they barely dodged, and this caught your interest.

P/N: This should be interesting.

You summoned your wings and flew into the air, and watched to see what would happen.

Female Sylph: Back off, already! Fine...

She reached for the hilt of her sword, and drew out the blade.

Female Sylph: Prepare for battle!

Male Sylph: We can't...I'm sure Sigurd and the others are already...

He was cut off when she floated closer to them.

Female Sylph: I'll draw as much of their attention as I can, so try and knock one down.

Male Sylph: I'll d my best.

Female Sylph: You should do something useful once in a while, okay?

She flew off towards the other players while you smirked behind your mask.

P/N: Sassy, I like it. *smirks*

You watched as she dodged one of their attacks, and struck down a member of their group. She turned back and was able to slightly split their formation. She stabbed one, and sent him flying as he was killed, and turned into a puff of red fire. You looked back to the male sylph and saw he was actually handling himself. Just then, a stream of fire was sent towards him, and it knocked him off balance.

Female Sylph: Idiot! Don't stop!

The player he was killing landed a finishing blow on him, just before he died.

Male Sylph: Sorry! *dies and disappears*

P/N's Thoughts: Oooo, unfortunate.

Female Sylph: Recon...

She dodged more of their magical attacks, but got distracted by two oncoming players. A fire ball was sent flying to her, and hit her directly, and she screamed as she fell to the ground. You flew over to the site, and watched from above as the remaining three salamanders backed her against a tree.

???: Sorry, but we're on a mission. Leave your money and items, and we'll let you go.

???: Why are you being a gentleman, Kagemune? It's been ages since we fought a woman. Let's kill her.

Female Sylph: Tch, I'll take at least one of you with me. *readies sword* Anyone who doesn't fear the death penalty can come and get me!

P/N's Thoughts: Doesn't give up easily....now you really have my interest girl...

Kagemune: You're a strong-willed girl. Very well.

The three of them backed off a bit before readying their weapons. But just before anything happened...

???: AHHHHHH!!!!!!

You all looked to your right to see Kirito fall from the sky, and land head first onto the ground.

???: Oww.....I'm going to have to practice my landings...

He stood up rubbing his head, as you landed in the darkness.

Female Sylph: What are you doing? Run!

Kirito: Three heavy fighters attacking a single girl? That's kind of lame.

P/N's Thoughts: He's right, I am kind of bored.

???: What did you say!?

???: Stay out of this, newbie.

The two of the three surrounded Kirito as he smirked.

P/N's Thoughts: Back in SAO, you had all the fun, well not this time, it's my turn.

???: Then we'll fight you, too!

The Sylph closed her eyes as he charged towards Kirito, and just before he landed the hit....

*CLANG*

She slowly opened her eyes, but then shot them open from seeing what she saw. Everyone saw you had caught his sword with your hand, and your eyes glowed red.

P/N: I'm bored. *eyes flash red* Entertain me.

You threw him back into his teammate as they shivered in fear.

???: N-N-N-NO WAY! 

???: W-W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?

P/N: I've been here a while, and have grown bored of seeing this amateur fight.  

Kirito: Who are you?

Female Sylph: Y-You mean you've never heard of him before!?

Kirito: Nu uh...

Female Sylph: He's one of the most terrifying players in ALO....the most battle hungry....the most deadliest....You're P/N! Aren't you!?

P/N: Hmmm, so it seems my reputation has reached all over now then, has it? *chuckle* Now then...

A gust of wind flew pass the two players, and you were now behind them. 

???: H-HE'S GONE-AAAAAGHHHHHH!!!!!

They both screamed as they were killed, and turned into little balls of fire. You turned towards Kagemune as he felt a shiver go down his spine.

P/N: Care to join me? I promise, I'll make it slow so you don't die as fast, and actually have a fighting chance. *chuckle*

Kagemune: I-I'LL PASS, P/N-SAMA! My magic skill will reach 900 soon. I beg you to please-AGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

He was cut off by you cutting his head off. You landed on the ground, and sheathed your sword before turning to Kirito and the blonde beauty.

P/N: He said he would reach 900 on magic soon, I wouldn't want anyone to think they can beat me. Now then...

You walked towards the two as their remain lights went away. She shivered in fear while Kirito stepped in front and drew his sword.

Kirito: I don't know anything about you, but-

P/N: I'm not going to kill her, it would be such a shame to kill something so beautiful.

She blushed madly when you called her beautiful.

P/N: Now then...who are you two? *eyes flash red*
