Welcome to...How Often will the Author Reference it's TV TIME!!

Here's some spoilers for those reading my Ducktales story.

If not...well you're getting the spoiler anyway, so have fun.

"Ooh! A Gameshow!" Webby squealed in excitement.

"It's time," Caroline stated simply, sounding sinister.

"It's TV Time?" Dewey questions, eyes narrowing. Yeah that's judgment all right! Fair enough. She's butchered that ridiculous character to oblivion.

Caroline pauses, holding a bunch of notecards. She then grins and points a finger in the air. "IT'S! TV! TIME!!" She beams, shaking slightly.

I put a hand on my head, feeling tired of whatever was happening. "How did you set this up?" I wondered, calmly. I put my hands to my side. She was...kinda weird sometimes. Man do I need more friends. I must have no standards.

Caroline puts a finger down. She looks away. "I, uh, figured it was time I told Webby more about myself. I did get permission from the adults so long as I don't actually make you guys fight any characters from any other world, don't find ways to get you guys killed, and of course the most important rule to not—okay that last rule sucks. No saying the A curse word?! What is this a family-friendly video game I'm referencing? It's got blood and violent themes in its nature. So nope to that rule."

Caroline shook her head. "What was the point to putting all this up if I cannot curse like Susie?!" She sighs, making Huey put a hand to his forehead.

"Not everything must be a DELTARUNE reference, Caroline." A small smile is still on his face, however I can tell he's slightly frustrated by her.

He's the same dude who tried to make her feel bad for him because apparently no one will date him. Caroline's forgiven him, but I know his manipulative tactics. I'm protective of my friends; and I know Caroline isn't the best person, but she doesn't deserve to be manipulated even by one of her closest friends.

And apparently now Caroline's 100 percent confirmed he has a crush on her. It doesn't make it sound better. And I thought Louie was the "evil" one.

But this is a good thing. As much as I know Caroline doesn't hang out with him due to whatever happened in their past, at least Huey's betrayal has brought Caroline and Louie closer. And I personally think Louie has a pretty good heart despite him being "evil."

"Did someone say everything must be a DELTARUNE reference, because IT'S! TV! TIME!!" Caroline announced. She beams, organizing the cards she has by lining them up and pushing the ones that weren't lined correctly with the gameshow table she had. The lights start flashing, blinding Huey, Dewey, and Louie, causing them to shield their eyes.

"AHH!"

"When did you get this set up?" Louie asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Last night!" A pause. "I have not slept at all!" Caroline exclaims, voice steady, eye twitching; Huey groans, "You Just when you were getting normal sleep too."

"There were details to pay attention to! Quiz questions to write! Everything must be perfect for this gameshow! I have to make it perfect! [1997]. Anyway, who wants to be my unwilling contestants put to the test to something they have no say over?!" Her voice changes throughout it. At one point she sounded like an exuberant game show host, the next a robotic sounding one, and then finally an encrazed one.

It was difficult to keep up with.

"Uhh," Louie said.

"Brilliant! Thanks for volunteering—" "I didn't say anything!" "Any other volunteers? Mwahaha!"
