Here is your review:

I think the name of the book is genius.  The cover evokes the feeling of a dangerous magical place more in line with a fantasy book than a horror one.  That is not to say that the two can't go together.  In most fantasy books there is always an evil force that has to be overcome usually more dangerous than anything in the real world.  

Your story-telling skills are very good.  You write in a way that is easy to understand while still having your own unique voice.  I liked that you added the meanings of unfamiliar words at the end where the reader can quickly check and get back to the story.  I wish you had added more pictures that show the look of the place.  Especially if you want to give a stronger feeling of unease.

This book literally takes you to another world, from talking reptiles with ulterior motives to strange adventures that can either strengthen bonds or tear them apart.  Can these friends find normalcy where none exists?

Your book is very imaginative but its strength is in the character depictions and the easy banter between friends.  I don't know what's going to happen but I know it will blow my mind.

I hope this inspires you to keep writing.  When your book is farther along, I will definitely recommend it on my page.
