She sat on a bench in the long quiet lonely hallway, swinging her legs with her hands kept beside her. Ashley bowed her head, looking at the motion of her legs with her hair up in a high ponytail, falling to the left side of her shoulder. She was dressed in a bubblegum pink apron button- front dress.
Just then, a door opened, two women came out. Ashley looked up at them as they said their finally goodbyes.
"We'd get going now." The younger woman smiled at the other woman. The woman was dressed in a lovely peach princess coat and had her hair up in a ponytail. Her makeup was elegantly done with a touch of flaming glossy red lipstick and her white stilettoes.
"Thank you very much Mrs Ontario." The older woman- Principal shook has with her before glancing down at Ashley who looked away instantly.
When the principal had entered back into her office, Mrs Ontario looked down at Ashley. She walked, standing in front of Ashley, then she squatted.
"Darling..." Mrs Ontario placed her hands over Ashley's. "Are you okay?" She gave Ashley a small smile.
Ashley looked up at her... At her mother... "Yeah." She managed to smile.
"Are you ready?" Mrs Ontario asked her.
"Do I have a choice?" She shrugged.
Her mom chuckled softly. "Come on." She stood not without pecking her daughter's forehead. "Let me help you with that." She reached out to get Ashley's bag from the chair but Ashley stopped her.
"It's just a bag." Ashley said standing up.
"Let me... Please." Her mom smiled widely.
She sighed, giving her small bag to her mom.
"You're my baby." Mrs Ontario took Ashley's hand and laced it with hers before they both strolled down the hallway. "You'll be fine, I promise." She said giving Ashley a hopeful smile.
Reaching outside, Ashley glanced back at the school's building one last time... St GERALDINE school. It was the last time she was going to be there.
"Come on." Her mom, Anna, jerked her head towards the car that was loading Ashley's suitcases.
Ashley took a deep breath before entering the white Rolls Royce Cullinan.
.................................................................................
"Your room has been prepared for you. Just take a shower and rest." Anna said to her daughter, removing the rubber band from her ponytail, letting it cascade down her back.
"Would you like anything to eat specifically?" The woman, dressed in long skirt asked. Her name was Sandy. She was in charge of housekeeping, seeing to the house orderliness.
Ashley shook her head, heading for the stairs. "I just want to be left alone for now."
"But sweetie you-" Anna tried to stop her daughter.
She turned to her mother. "Mom please." She frowned. "I just want to be alone... Let me have my space for now... Okay?" Ashley spoke gently without seeming rude.
Anna cleared her throat and nodded. "Sure." She smiled at Ashley. "Take your time. I'll have your things sent to your room later, would that be okay?"
"Yeah." Ashley said before walking away.
Anna turned to Sandy. "What are we having for dinner?" She said, walking towards a corridor.
Sandy followed her. "Yes ma'am, we have...."
Ashley walked into her room which she hadn't entered in almost a year. It was just as she remembered. Beige curtains, grey interior decor. Her white king size bed, luxurious furniture. It suited her social status.
Luna-Hermosa Ashley Ines Maria-Alejandra Ontario, from the lineage of the famous elite aristocratic family of the Ontarios. She was born into the family of luxury. Born with a silver spoon, the 16 year old schooled in an all girls Catholic boarding school- St Geraldine boarding school. But now.... She was being withdrawn from the school due to an incident.
Walking up to a cabinet, she picked up a small picture frame of her and her older sister Isla. They were both laughing at the camera. She carefully replaced the frame, picking up another one of her 10 year old self. She glanced around the room and noticed it was dark due to the closed curtains. Ashley dropped the frame, walking up to the curtain and slowly pulled them apart. She stopped halfway when she noticed a slightly opened window from their next door neighbor's house.
Growing up in an elite neighborhood, Ashley didn't make friends with anyone because as soon as she clocked 10, she was shipped off into a boarding school, joining her sister. She watched the slightly opened window from where she stood, soon, a girl appeared at the window, trying to close it. The girl soon stopped when she saw Ashley.
Ashley noticed that the girl turned away to speak to someone who wasn't visible to Ashley but was inside the room. She waited, only for her to see a another person move the curtain. It was a guy, who had come to view. When he noticed Ashley's stare, he smirked. Immediately Ashley gasped, hiding behind the curtains. After awhile, Ashley peeped to see if they were gone. They were. She walked back into the room, peeled off her cloth so that she could take a long bath.

"Where do you wanna go?" Anna asked her daughter while they sat on the dining eating their dinner. "We can head to the spa? The movies? Oh, there's this new movie that came out, I haven't seen it. We could go see it together." Anna said, waiting for Ashley's reply. "Or.... We could have a haircut. Bond a little." She continued when Ashley didn't respond to her question. "Maybe not. How about -"
"Mom, mom, mom." Ashley shook her head. "I'm fine." She shot her mom a forced smile.
Anna glanced at her husband, Scott Ontario who didn't bother to say anything but just kept eating. "But darling you need to go out. I hate seeing you look so... So.. So..." She was looking for the right word.
"Pitiful?" Ashley sighed, dropping her cutleries down. "I don't want anyone's pity. I'm fine."
"No that's not what-" Anna tried to speak but her husband cut her off.
"Honey let it go." Scott said to Anna.
"But I'm only trying to help." Anna sighed sadly.
Scott turned to his youngest daughter. "Baby girl whenever you're ready to talk, your mom and I are always going to be here to listen. We love you, always have. No matter what you're going through, we're ready to help out. We don't see you as pitiful sweetie, we just want to see you happy."
Ashley smiled at her dad. "Thanks dad."
"Maybe you should join your mom at AnStin tomorrow, how about that?" Scott suggested.
Anna nodded in agreement. "Yeah, since you love baking."
"I-I don't know." Ashley wasn't sure she wanted to join her mom at the pastry restaurant.
"It'll be fun, promise." She grinned, anticipating Ashley's reply.
"Okay." Ashley agreed reluctantly.
Anna gasped in surprised. "Okay?"
"Yeah, Okay. I guess AnStin isn't a bad idea." She said, picking up her fork from her plate.
"Great!" Anna finally had something to look forward to tomorrow with her daughter.
"So, since that's settled then." Scott picked up a glass of water to drink. "Not that I'm pressuring you or anything, and baby girl just take all the time you need... But, you know we still need you to enroll in school here, no rush. I just don't want you to miss out a lot here." Scott told his daughter.
"Can you give me a week? I just got home and I... I missed you guys a lot and-"
"No, no, say no more. You won't resume until you're ready." Anna immediately said. "Be it in a months time or two or even we can arrange for you to be homeschooled."
"Homeschooled? I don't want to be homeschooled." Ashley didn't have anyone to talk to, her being homeschooled would increase her chances of loneliness.
"She's right. Ash is still young, let her get social with her peers." Scott said to Anna before turning to his daughter. "I already picked out a school. It's very nice and sure you'll love it. When you're ready, you can go with your mom to check it out."
"It's a mixed school. You'll meet a bunch of people." Anna smirked at Ashley. "And boys."
Scott rolled his eyes. "I forbid you to date anyone until you're 18."
Anna scoffed in amusement. "Would you look at that?"
"I know what I'm saying. Kids these days can't control those raging hormones." Scott was clearly not having Ashley date anyone.
"If I remember correctly, mom was 18, when she conceived Isla." Ashley countered her father making him spew water from his mouth.
"W-well tha-that's different. Your mom and I already had this special connection, right honey?" He gave his wife a look so that she could back him up.
"Your father was an asshole most of the times back then." Anna made eyes gesture.
"Asshole? Really?" Scott squinted at his wife.
"But never loved you less baby." Anna smiled, getting up from the chair to give Scott a warm kiss on his lips.
Ashley cleared her throat reminding her parents she was with them while they made out in her presence. "You guys should stop, I'm still here." Ashley looked down at her plate, fixing her hair into her ear. "Besides, I don't do boys." She whispered to herself.
That alone broke off her parents from each other. "Wait, what?" Scott sharply turned to Ashley. "What do you mean you don't do boys."
Anna's eyes widened in realization. "Oh my God, are you... Are you... Gay?"
"Is that..." Ashley looked up at her parents who were confusingly looking at her. "Is that a bad thing?"
Scott immediately grabbed the whole bottle of wine and began gulping frantically.
"Oh darling..." Anna slowly walked up to Ashley. "But... You... How... Since when?" Anna kept mumbling her words, trying to get herself together.
Ashley ran her fingers through her hair. "Dad please stop that."
"Are you dating someone from your school?" Anna placed her hand on her chest trying to calm herself as she rubbed against it.
"Damn, you guys are driving me crazy. Being gay isn't bad you know." Ashley stood up, moving the chair back.
"I-I know it's not bad, I never said it was. Your dad and I are just... Um... Overwhelmed by your sudden con-confession." Anna explained using hands gestures. She too couldn't wrap the thought of her daughter being queer. "So um, are you um, bi or... Fluid or trans?" She said the last part in a whisper.
"Oh God." Scott threw his head backwards hearing Anna ask the question. He kept gulping down the bottle of wine.
"Stop your husband before he kills himself." Ashley pointed at her father who was drinking without cease.
"Oh my God, Scott stop." Anna grabbed the almost emptied bottle from his hand.
Ashley placed her hands in her jacket pockets, rolled her eyes, turned her back to leave.
"Ash darling, we haven't finished talking about you." Anna tried to call Ashley back but Scott tried to take the bottle again so she had to stop him.
Ashley groaned aloud, throwing her head backwards. "I was only joking you two, get a grip of yourselves."
"What?" Anna and Scott said in unison.
She turned back to look at her parents. "I'm hundred percent straight. I like boys, do you hear me? Still... There's nothing wrong with queer people." She said before turning around to leave.
"Did she say she was joking? And she liked boys?" Anna frowned, still confused on what was going on.
"God," he placed his hand on his chest. "I thought I was gonna have a cardiac arrest. Thank God." He breathed a breath of relief.
Anna sighed aloud. "But why would she come up with something like that?" She wondered.
"Let's not think too much about it. As long as she was only kidding, I'm fine." Scott patted Anna's hand on the table. "On a second note, why do kids nowadays make expensive jokes? Ugh. If dad were here, he would have died." Scott nodded, knowing his father would definitely not find his daughter's joke funny.
Just like when his first daughter Isla didn't want anything to do with the company. She was always coming up with new careers each time-- which most times, never work out. Isla was very rebellious and stubborn, she did whatever pleased her, sometimes, she did them to spite his father.
His father, Ethan Ontario wanted to keep the company in the family for the fear of someone gaining his sweat and toil and Isla just didn't want anything to do with the multi-billion company Ontario Holdings.
Although Ethan threw a fit, declaring to disinherit Isla which Isla remained unmoved, Ethan still had his soft spot for his granddaughter even when she proved wild and untameable. His last hope was his other granddaughter Ashley who was different than her sister in so many ways, he was sure he could tame her.
................................................................................
"You know we didn't need to bring bodyguards." Ashley glanced at the four besuited men who were standing at the entrance of the store.
"Just for safety reasons." Her mother said to her.
"We're not even that famous." Ashley rolled her eyes, walking ahead of her mom.
"And who told you?" Anna chuckled. "We do have business rivals that threaten us once in awhile, so we have to be cautious."
It was almost a week that Ashley had settled home. And today, her mom forced her to go shopping for dresses.
"When would your sister be arriving?" Her mom asked her as they got closer to the Chanel clothing line.
"Isla hasn't told me anything yet." Ashley answered.
"Why don't you look around, buy whatever you want." Anna smiled at her daughter.
"Good afternoon Mrs Ontario." The sales attendant said with a happy smile.
"Good afternoon Beatrice, This is my daughter Luna-Hermosa Ashley Ines-"
Before her mom could finish saying all her names, Ashley interrupted. "Just call me Ashley." She feigned a smile at the lady.
"Oh, Ashley. It's nice to meet you." The sales girl said.
"We are looking for Valencia, Chanel, Balenciaga or... Versace. Blouses, tops, dresses, skirts, jackets, whatever you've got." Anna told the sales girl.
"Right this way." The sales girl gestured for them to follow her.
"Mom, why did you introduce me like that? It's embarrassing, no offense." Ashley whispered to her mom.
"I got a little excited since it's been ages we went shopping together. I'm just too happy." Anna whispered back, not holding back her excitement.
Ashley wandered away, when her mom got busy talking to the sales girl about shoes and dresses. It was already becoming boring for her. She kept walking down the aisle, checking the racks. She picked up a mini sequin dress. It was of a sea blue color, spaghetti strap and criss cross back down to the waist, it definitely showed some cleavage which made her to glance at her small boobs.
"You don't need to have massive boobs to wear it." A female voice interrupted Ashley's thoughts.
Stunned, she looked up to see who it was. It was a face she recognized. Faye MidWest. Fashion influencer, verified TiKToKer, over two hundred thousands of followers on Instagram and Snapchat combine. And she only 16. Although many knew it was because of her parent's affluence in the Hollywood industry, it helped to boost up her popularity.
Ashley could only stare at the girl in front of her. Faye was known to be hot and extremely pretty, with wild and bold eyes, a die for smile, smoothest skin.
It took Faye to snap her fingers twice at Ashley's face to bring Ashley back to earth. "Earth to you stranger." Faye said giving Ashley a warm smile.
Before Ashley could talk, she saw someone else approaching. It was happening in slow motion and she noticed his hair was just as perfect as she had seen in videos and pictures. Her eyes widened, as he walked up to them.
His arm around Faye's shoulder, but giving Ashley a smirk. "Who do we have here?"
Ashley gaped at the duo. She couldn't believe she was with the Twins!!!!
Faye and Franz.
"Hey neighbor." Franz kept smirking mischievously as he gave Ashley a flirtatious wink.
