Prologue
Hair, check.

Personality, check.
Voice, check.
Tan, check.
Eyes, check.
Everything, was in check. It was finally time, after what? 15 years, I would finally get my brother, father, those danged doctors, and most importantly, my ex-fiance back. They would pay for toying with me, toying with my innocent mind, my innocent heart, me. I would make sure of it.
My heels clicked against the pavement, as a dazzling pearl smile was plastered at my lips. I could only bat my lashes, at the dirty dogs cat-calling me, mentally gagging, I threw a shy lip bite their way. I walked into the posh, white building, snapping my heels against the tile.
"Miss, do you have an appointment?" A high pitched voice stopped me, I spun around, "I'm Chanel Grey, I don't need an appointment." I retort, spinning back around and continuing my way to a black door, opening it, as a smile curls at my lips. "Brayden." I call out, only to be attacked from behind with kisses on my neck, "Hey beautiful." I mentally had to stop myself from throwing up, at least for now. It would all be worth it in the end. As my signature red lips pulled back into a fake smile, pulling my hands up around his neck, I'd get everything I ever wanted in the end. "Brayden, I missed you, can we go out for dinner now?" My bottom lip jutting out, just as the male in front of me sighed, "Unfortunately not, darling. I have four- no five meetings left for the day. " He excused himself, politely, leaving a goodbye kiss on my cheek. My cheek was burning, feeling as if acid were dropped on my face. I exited the building, sneaking back into my prestige limousine. "Everything alright, Miss. Grey?" My trusted chauffeur asked, "He canceled again, that cheating bastard, would you mind taking me to the Ace Law firm?" I asked, throwing off my killer heels, which were exactly how they felt, killer, as in killing my feet. I swear I saw a smirk flash on that bloody chauffeur's lips, "Lamar, you better pray that wasn't a smirk upon your lips. " Scoffing, I closed the 'mini-blinds', and switched into a more professional outfit, a pantsuit. Just as I slipped the sleeve over my left shoulder, I felt the car halt. "Lamar, is everything alright?" i questioned, suspicion in my voice, "It seems as though your fans, have yet again, caused traffic." Sweet god, again? Of course, my ego grew, but my temper flared. "And the police or security?" I stated, in a 'duh' tone. "They're trying to move them now." He retorted, a sass in his voice. I couldn't help but love him, even if he did sass me. "Good, I can't be late. " I murmured, as he scoffed under his breath. A muffled laugh escaped my lips, I love this guy.

Which is how I arrived at this firm, "Fernando, I want to sue Brayden, now. Hit me with everything, we can lay on him. " I demanded, as I strutted into the familiar office, my eyebrows furrowed, as I entered, 'business mode.' The usual slicked back hair, and suit, caught my eye, what changed was his posture. Usually, he would be dreading this, but today he seemed proud. "Done, and done. " He retorted, "I've gotten every form of evidence, and over three cases against him. " He stated, looking awfully proud.
This news couldn't have made me happier, holding back a squeal I nodded. "Great, also mind texting him and telling him about the bad news." I winked, a laugh at my lips, walking back to my beloved limousine.
This was only one tiny footstep, in my mountain of a plan. I will get my sweet, sweet, revenge.
