Hoseok had his laptop on his lap, his eyes going over the emails he had received and checking up some new information he had been given.
"If all points were connected, the person who sneaked the reporters inside must've been someone who is a rival of mine. They had to have some motive to want to cause a stir up for us. They must've known where I was and at what exact time. Also, they managed to sneak the reporters in without security or other people noticing. It's someone who had enough power to intimidate even them. Or who had enough money to pay for their silence. But, no one was even in the close proximity of Seokjin and I. Well, no one except—"
His train of thought was interrupted by a hand on his shoulder. He looked over and saw Seokjin, who was barely waking up with a small smile on his face. They had stayed the night at the cabin—they were probably going to have to stay for a bit longer.
"What're you doing? You look really concentrated." Seokjin asked, trying to sit up but Hoseok stopped him. He put his laptop away and turned to face the younger, bringing him close to his chest.
"Just checking up on some emails. Do you feel better?" he asked, his fingers going through Seokjin's hair.
"Yes, much better. Again, thank you." Seokjin replied leaning into his touch.
Hoseok couldn't stop the smile that spread on his lips. He leaned down and left a kiss on Seokjin's forehead. "I already told you not to thank me."
"I'm thanking you also for last night." he said with a wink.
Hoseok chuckled and sat up. "You can go into the shower; i'm going to go make us some breakfast. Wear some of my clothes that's inside that closet."
Seokjin nodded and looked at him until he disappeared out the door. He stretched a little, whimpering when he felt his bones pop. Then he got up and opened the door to the closet. It was a walk in closet, not as big as the one in Hoseok's room, but definelty big for being in a cabin.
"I'll never get used to the amount of money Hoseok has." he says to himself. He picks out a t-shirt and some shorts, getting some underwear and getting into the shower. He sighs relieved when the warm water hits his body. He grabs the soap and rubs it all over his body, it's light scent relaxing him. He washes his hair and a few minutes later steps out.
He dries himself and changes before walking back into the room. He puts on a pair of slippers and continues drying his hair. He hangs it to dry after he's finished and walks out and over to the living room. He smiles when he sees Hoseok turning off the stove after he finished cooking.
Hoseok turns and smiles at him, getting the plates of food and setting them on the table. He pulls out the chair for Seokjin who sits down, thanking him. He then sits down to his side, as they begin to eat.

"I'm going to wash the dishes since you cooked." Seokjin said, collecting Hoseok's plate before he got a chance to speak.
Hoseok smiled fondly and got up, "Okay, i'll go shower because I want to take you somewhere."
Seokjin nodded as he saw Hoseok walk away. He turned back around, turning the tap on and beginning to wash the dishes. As he cleaned them, his mind drifted away on its own.

Small Flashback
"Seokjin, please, this must be a misunderstanding. You don't really want to break up with me." Taehyung said, stepping closer and closer to Seokjin.
"Taehyung, don't make this anymore difficult. Please, don't get any closer." he said, watching his every move with a small glare of his eyes.
Taehyung stopped, "I will change, Seokjin. I promise I will."
"Taehyung, please don't try to convince me with such shitty promises. You know this has always been a problem between us, and no matter how many times you arrive at my apartment, drunk out of your mind and cry to me that 'this is the last time i'll see you drunk' are nonstop. I want to end this now, don't make this end on a bad note." Seokjin said, getting up from his seat and beginning to walk out the door. "Don't follow me and don't try reaching out to me. I'm tired of this. I wish you the best."
...
He jumped out his thoughts when two hands held his waist. He turned off the water and noticed be had somehow finished washing the dishes. He dried his hands and turned around.
"What were you thinking about? I called your name a few times and you didn't even blink." Hoseok asked, a bit of concerned laced in his tone.
"Nothing."
Hoseok sighed, his hand going up to cup his cheek. "I want you to know you can trust me. I know we haven't been going out for much, and our relationship is founded on something that isn't a typical starter for a relationship, but I want you to think of me as a real boyfriend. You can trust me, tell me anything, do anything to me, and i'll be here to accept you, listen to you, and gives you as many kisses, hugs, and a shoulder to cry on if you need it. Seokjin you—you're different and I also want you to be someone like that for me."
Seokjin smiled fondly and wrapped his arms around the older, barely noticing he wasn't wearing a shirt when he felt his naked chest against his head. "I want you to think of me like that too, Hoseok. I want us to be each other's pillar. You can always count on me for anything."
Hoseok hugged him back, both of them enjoying the moment silently for a few minutes.
"Well, the place I want to show you is about forty-five minutes away. You can go change in the room if you want and get your things." Hoseok said, pulling away to look at his face.
Seokjin nodded and leaned up to peck his lips before going back into the room and getting his things.
___
nice lil chapter.
side note: i've been thinking and i think this story will have between 20-35 chapters, or at least less than 40. i don't want to drag things out since this story was many just for fun and wasn't supposed to have a heavy plot or dramatic or eventful or anything like that. but, i hope you're all enjoying!! 😁💜💜
