Lyn Storm

I woke up with the noise of my alarm. As usual I went to the washroom to get rid of my sleepiness, then get bath and make breakfast for me and my mom.

"Good morning mom." I greeted mom who was standing by the kitchen door, as I was putting the plates in the table. She smiled and greeted back taking a sit in front of me.
"So what should we do today?" She asked while putting some butter on her bread.

"Your wish." I replied shortly taking a sip from my milk.
"OK...maybe you should take a look at the clock." She said pointing at the wall clock behind me. I looked at the clock. Oh shit its 6:50 and I'm gonna be late. I took a bread and my backpack. I kissed my mom in her cheeks and headed towards the door.
"Bye!" She shouted from the kitchen. "Bye." I replied closing the door behind me.

I made my run to the nearest station. I should've gone and stayed in the collage dorm. I'm gonna receive punishment points.
I reached the station in fifteen minutes. "Thank god..the train hasn't arrived yet." I said under my breath. I fixed my dress and waited for the train to arrive.

"Hey!" I gasped as someone tapped my shoulder. I looked behind to only see Axel.
"Gosh...I thought someone was trying to abduct me." I said with a frightened voice.
"Sorry...so let's go." He chuckled and held my hand in his. Just then the train arrived. I was going towards the train but someone stopped me in the tracks I looked towards Axel with a confused look as he held onto my hand and dragged me out of the crowd.
"Where are we going? Aren't we supposed to go to school?" I asked him but he just took me out of the station and into the streets. He halted and looked at me.

"We are ditching school today." He said with a smirk on his face.
"What!?" I yelled at him and he mockingly held both of his hands on his ears.

"Sh..don't yell." He put one hand on my mouth and looked around to see if anyone sees us.
"What do you mean ditch school?" I asked him trying to control my anger. "I don't like school." He replied.

"You just transferred yesterday and you're ditching school today moreover you're taking me with you.. I'm gonna get into trouble because of you Axel." I literally scolded him.
"OK sorry...let's not ruin our moods and go grab some breakfast first." He said and intertwined my hands with his and went down the streets. We ended up in a cafe.

"What do you want?" He asked me as we went towards the receptionist.

"Anything." I shortly answered. He smiled and looked towards the female receptionist who was blushing looking at Axel.
"Two cappuccino and two pancakes with strawberry whipped cream." He ordered and the receptionist who was around our age or older went back inside.

"So let's sit there." Axel said motioning me towards a couple sit near the window.

We were sitting quietly. Axel was looking at his phone while I was freaking out. The order finally came. The female waitress served our foods and winked at Axel before she went back to her job. What's the problem with all the female workers does Axel have something on his face that all the girls are looking at him and drooling? OK..I admit that he is good looking...OK handsome, but is he a star or what?

"Let's dig in." He said as he started to eat his pancakes. I also took a bit of my pancakes. We were eating when
*bzzt* my phone rang and I was trembling seeing the caller ID. Its Mark Kim, our homeroom teacher and my cousin. I was going to take the call when suddenly Axel swiped the phone from my hand and declined the call.

"What the hell! Axel why did you do that?" I yelled at him but not too loud as people were there.

"First rule for ditching school: Ignore phone calls." He said like a teacher while putting my phone inside his pocket. "Keep the change ma'am" He said and walked out of the cafe.
"Hey that's my phone. Give it back." I said as I run behind him outside the cafe. He just ignored me.

After whining and running around with him he finally gave my phone back. But with one condition: not to call anyone. I had to agree.
After all the running we were exhausted so we decided to go to a park. After we reached the park we settled down on a grassy land our back leaning against the tree and in front of us the beautiful view of lake where lovers were on boats. The sky was pure and the spring breeze was fascinating.

"Shall we have ice creams?" Axel asked looking at me. I nodded. He ran to a nearest ice cream parlour. After sometimes later he came back hold two ice creams in his hand. He handed me the strawberry flavor while took the vanilla flavour. I muttered a thanks to him and he smiled widely at me.
We both stared at the blue pure sky and have our ice creams. I was taking a bit of my ice cream.

"Lyn..can I have a bite of your ice cream?" He asked looking at my ice cream. I looked at his ice cream then looked at him.
"No! Have yours." I said bluntly. "I just wanna taste a strawberry ice cream. What's the problem with it?" He whined.
"Then why did you buy a vanilla for you?" I asked taking at bite of mine. "I was craving for vanilla that time...but now I'm craving for strawberry." He said.

I gave up. "OK but only one bite." I said stretching my ice cream toward his mouth. He took a big bite and smiled cheekily at me. "Why are you smiling?" I asked taking the ice cream away from him and taking a bite on it. "We just had an indirect kiss." He said. My cheeks suddenly became hot and I know I am blushing. "...you are blushing?" He said pointing at my cheeks.
"No..no I'm not not blushing." I stammered. He came closer to me leaving only inches between us. My heart was beating like crazy in its ribcage wanting to burst out any moment.
"Yes you are.....and its cute." He smiled then went back to his original place. I breathed out a breath I didn't knew I was holding. What was I thinking? Oh gosh... I said to myself remembering the closeness between us a moment ago.
"Let's go ride bikes." Axel said breaking the awkward silence between us. He extended his hands motioning me to grab. Which I gladly accepted. We then went to the cycling court and got tickets.
Axel gave me a pink helmet and he took a blue one for himself. "Do you know how to ride bikes?" He asked while riding onto his bike. "Yes...I used to ride bikes here a lot with Leo when we were kids." I said to him remembering the memories of me and my twin. He nodded.
We rode the bikes for two hours long. Them we rode the lovers boat and took some pictures together.
"Haha! You look funny here." I pointed at the picture to Axel where he was about to sneeze. "You also look funny in that picture look...there." He said. It was really a bad picture was I talking to him when he suddenly took a picture of me. We took many pictures and it was getting late. Our school was nearly over.

We walked down the sidewalks side by side. When suddenly someone tapped my shoulder. I jolted up in surprise. I looked behind me to see a red haired guy.
