Lyn Storm

"What are you doing here?" I asked bending down at Katie's height.
"Duh your brother told me to pick you up." He replied. It was Axel Valdez.
"So what's your problem?" He asked bending down as well.
"Who's this tall uncle mommy?" Katie asked looking at Axel.
"Mommy! You didn't tell me you had a cute daughter." Axel said sarcastically.
"I'm Axel Valdez pretty girl and I'm your mommy's boyfriend. You can call me daddy." He said pinching Katie's little nose. She giggled and nodded,
"What the Axel." I said giving him a glare. He just winked at me.
"So what's this pretty girl's name?" He asked Katie.
"Katie May." She said shyly. Axel giggled and pinched her cheeks playfully.
We were now walking altogether. Katie was between me and Axel. It looked like we were on a family walk with our little girl.
"Katie are you hungry?" Axel asked stopping in front of a restaurant. She nodded and held my hands.
"So let's eat." I said and pushed both of them inside the restaurant. We found an empty sit for a family and settled there.
A waiter came and took our order.
"When are you planning to go home pretty girl?" Axel asked who was sitting in front of us.
"Never." She replied and hugged me. Axel and I looked at each other then at Katie.
"Where do you live then?" He asked again.
"I live in a mansion daddy." She replied looking around the place.
"Mansion." Axel said looking at me.
"Oh so you are Mr. Eugene's granddaughter." I said looking at Katie and she nodded.
"What a relief!" I heard Axel said under his breath.
"Here's you order sir ma'am." A waiter served out the order and smiled at us.
"Thank you." We all said in unison. She smiled again then left us.
"Eat properly Katie sweety." Axel said wiping her messed up mouth. I just smiled at their acts.
"What are you thinking mommy?" Axel asked emphasizing the mommy word. I looked at him and saw Katie's eyes on me.
"Nothing." I said taking a sip of my water.
"Mommy I want that." Katie said pointing on the salad on the table. I passed the salad to her and put some on her plate.
She smiled and started eating again.
After sometime I heard Axel giggling.
"Why are you giggling?" I asked irritated.
"We look like we are really a family." He said. "I think we should someday get married and have a girl like Katie." He added with dreamy eyes. I started blushing at his thoughts.
"It will remain someday. Dream on daddy." I said hiding my blushing face.

We were walking in the sidewalks towards the May mansion.
As soon as we rang the doorbell an elderly woman opened the door.
"Who are you?" She asked eyeing Axel and me. Katie hid behind Axel.
"Mrs. May we are here to give Katie back home." I said pulling Katie from behind Axel.
"Oh.." She said not looking that much happy.
"No I don't wanna go mommy please...I don't wanna go." Katie whined as Mrs. May pulled her into the house.
"Thank you and sorry for the trouble." She said eyeing Katie.
"No ma'am it wasn't a trouble for us. Katie is a nice girl." Axel said and I nodded in agreement.
"That's nice to hear. So it'll be nice if you leave now." She said closing the door.

"Wait ma'am." Axel said pushing the door. Mrs. May was surprised but hid her feeling and opened the door again.
"What is it young man?" She asked.
"Well miss we would be happy if we get to see Katie once in a while." Axel said looking at the whining Katie then at Mrs. May.
She remained silent for a moment then her expression changed. From the cold look, it turned into a elated one.
"Well that's a great idea. It will be really good for me and my husband if Katie spends her time with people...you know after her parents died in a car accident a year ago she never talks to anyone and always stays in her room...and sometimes she escape from the guards and runs away to the park, like what she did today." She said trying to control her tears from falling.
"But Katie was saying that you all don't love her so she wasn't trying to come home." I said.
"She always says that because we don't get time to spent with her as me and my husband are always busy with the businesses." She said.

"Then don't you worry ma'am me and my wife would like to spend sometime with Katie everyday if you like that is." Axel said. I blushed as he said my wife.
"That's so sweet of you both. Yes of course you guys can spend time with her." She said calling Katie here.
"Katie dear would you like to spend time with this people?" Mrs. May asked her granddaughter pointing at us.
"Yes granny." She said gleaming.
"Then there you go...you can spend time whenever you want. Just call us before you come." Mrs. May said handing us a card. We looked at it, it was her business card. We nodded and smiled.
"Take care pretty girl." Axel said pinching Katie's nose.
"Bye Katie." I said bidding good bye to both of them.
"Bye mommy daddy." She said hugging me and Axel. We hugged back.

"Why did you tell her that I'm your wife?" I asked controlling my anger.
"Why because you are going to be my wife soon." He said with a dreamy voice. I rolled my eyes in a sassy way and started walking faster.

"Hey wait for me!" Axel said behind me. I ignored him and walked faster.
The next thing I felt I was trapped in Axel's strong arms.
"Sh..stay still." Axel whispered in my ears. I stopped moving and stood still.

Everything was quiet as if we were the only people there. Under the moonlight we were standing still. I felt like we were doing a romantic movie scene. There was a sweet silent with the mixture of bustling leaves and distant noises.
After a few minutes of quietness Axel started speaking.
"I can't wait anymore Lyn." Axel whispered in my ears which send shivers throughout my whole body. I don't know which send me shivers, Axel's breath or the cold breeze.
I remained silent. Then I felt the warmth going away and cold greeted me. Axel moved from the back hug and pulled me around so that we are now facing each other.

"Look Lyn." He started with a soft voice which melted me.
"I love you and I promise that I'll not treat you the way Dave did. I promise that I'll love you forever and we'll make a great future together." He said. I felt weak and tears started to drop from my eyes from the mere mention of Dave's name. He noticed my eyes and wiped the tears away.
"And I'll never make you cry Lyn." He said wiping my tears away with his thumb. I melted down with his caring touch that if he wasn't holding me right now I would've fallen on my butt by now.
"I love you and will always." Axel stated holding my chin up so that our eyes meet each other.
"I don't know Axel.." I said after a long silence.
"Lyn look at me." He said with a soft yet commanding voice. I looked at him and could see his eyes glistening in the moonlight. "I know you love me too Lyn I can see it in your eyes. Like right now." He said removing the hairs on my face which came in from the constant breezes.
"No I don't." I said not looking at his eyes.
"Your eyes don't say that Lyn." Axel said locking his eyes with mine. I tried to look away but Axel was so fast that I couldn't move my head as his strong hands where holding my chin.
"Say what's in your heart not the things that you have in mind." He said. My tears started flowing again and I couldn't take it anymore.

"YES! Yes I love you..." I busted out. His eyes gleamed in happiness. "...but I can't." I added. He expression changed into a frown.
"Why?" He asked his eyes filling with sadness.
"Because we can never be happy together." I said as I wiped my tears.
"Yes we can if we try Lyn." He said.
"Axel..." I was being cut by Axel as I felt his lips on me.
He was kissing me slowly and softly. I stood there my eyes wide open. His hands started wrapping around my waist and pulled me closer to him. Unvoluntarily  my hands went around his neck, closing my eyes, I responded to his passionate kiss.
He pulled away from the kiss and I frowned as cold greeted me again. He smiled amusingly and slammed his lips on me again, it caught me off guard. But I accepted his kiss. From a passionate kiss it turned into a hot kiss as his kisses ran down to my jawline to my neck and then to my ear lobe. He kissed me as if I was gonna vanish.
He pulled away from the kiss and smiled at me. I smiled back.
"So we'll meet tomorrow here and go on our first date." He said and pecked on my lips again and I nodded.

Is this how it feels to be kissed by the one whom we love? It felt like he put my feet off the ground, and spin me around and made me crazier and crazier.
