Lyn Storm

"Are you alright?" Axel asked holding my hands into his. I opened my eyes and smiled at him.

"Yes I'm fine." I said. "Wait...your face you have a bruise." I added touching his jawline and eyes. He flinches with my touch.
"Is it hurting?" I asked slightly touching his bruised face. He gave me a weak smile and replied. "Not much..."
"But still you didn't have to fight with him." I asked with an angry tone.

"Why shouldn't I he made your life miserable for Pete's sake." He said touching my cheeks. I turned my gaze away from him and towards the door.

"Where is Lion?" I asked specifically to no one.
"Who's Lion?" I heard Axel asking. I turned my gaze towards him.
"Oh..its Leo's nickname." I said with an awkward smile. He nodded and flashed a smile.

"Nice name...but I dunno where he is." He replied shortly.
For a few moments, there was an awkward silence. Neither of us was talking or trying to make the first move. Occasionally I looked at him but quickly turned my gaze away. All the time I could feel his gaze on me. It feels like he was digging holes into my body.
After which seemed like hours someone made the first move. It was Axel.

"So Lyn its been nearly two weeks...I think by now I should've got my answer." Axel started. "Don't you think."
Shit! I don't have any answer to give him.

"What answer?" I asked pretending not to know what he is talking about. Axel smirked and leaned towards me. My heart started beating like crazy and my breathing rate was uneven. He stopped in front of me leaving only a few inches distance between us that if even a little move can cause my face to crash against his hard chest.

"The 'Will you be my girlfriend' one." He said and I swear by god my heart skipped a beat.

"Oh-uh." I blurted out, my eyes widen in shock. He smirked again and leaned even closer. I knew what he is gonna do so I moved my face sideways. And his kiss planted on my cheeks instead of my lips. He frowned while my face was as red as a tomato. I pushed him away and breathed some new fresh air.
I took a deep breath and started. "I..I...you and.." Shit! Why am I stammering. I practised it very well last night. I'll try again.
"I think...you..I." I stammered again.

"You think what tell me." Axel asked with a confused expression.
I took another deep breath and blurted out. "I think it will be better if you and me stick with being friends only." Yes, finally I said it.

He frowned and took my hands. "But I want more than that." He said. I removed my hands from him and replied.
"Then I think you can't have that..because..because I don't think I'll be able to love anyone ever again." I said and walked towards the door.

As I was gonna pull the door open I felt a pair of hands grab me into a tight back hug. Axel's uneven breathing against my neck sent me a strange sensational feeling throughout my whole body. I had never felt something like this before; a feeling of belonging rushed into my veins; a feeling of care and affection; a strange feeling that I never got when I was with Dave.

"Lyn just try once I know you'll be able to love me too." Axel whispered into my ears which send shivers down my spine.
"Then you'll have to wait forever." I said and moved out of his grasp and out of the room.

When I closed the door behind me and heard Axel shouting.
"EVEN IF I'VE TO WAIT FOREVER I'LL DO THAT FOR YOU!!" I ignored him and went out of that place.
