Leon Storm

"Mom where is Lyn?" I asked as I entered the living room. "She is not coming out of her room." Mom said with a worried voice.
I ran upstairs and stormed into her room. "Lyn Storm!" I yelled. I knocked on her door several times but didn't get any answer. I knocked again but still no answer.

Did she get unconscious again? Did she...no no. I said to myself as I ran downstairs to get the extra keys.

"What happened Leo?" Mom asked with a worried expression.
"Nothing everything's fine. Totally fine." I said as I again ran upstairs with the extra key.

I unlocked the door and entered the room. But the room was empty no sign of Lyn. I looked in the washroom but no Lyn. Then I heard a humming sound mixed with the crying of someone. I went to the direction of the sound and found Lyn. She was in the terrace near her balcony with her guitar on her lap with earphones on. I climbed on the terrace and pulled her ear buds off.

"Lion what are you doing?" She asked cleaning her tear stained face with her handkerchief.
"Lyn what're you doing here?" I asked sitting beside her.
"Nothing composing songs." She replied. "And crying." I added. She looked at me and showed her brightest smile ever. "See I'm not crying I've moved on bro."

"Moved on...Ha you haven't moved on yet sis. I still hear you crying at midnight...I know you loved that jerk a lot but what did he do to you. He cheated on you...just move on you'll find a much better person in the future." I said.

"Don't worry bro I won't cry anymore...and I don't think I'll be able to love someone ever again in the future." She said with a sad tone. My heart broke into a million pieces seeing her this sad.
"Let's have some cupcakes I brought for you on my way home." I said to lighten her mood. She instantly flashed a happy smile.
"Where?" She asked looking behind me. "In the living room." I replied. She hugged me tightly and kissed my cheeks then ran downstairs.

"I love you bro!" She yelled from downstairs. "I love you too idiot!" I yelled back grabbing her guitar and music notes with me.

As I reached downstairs I saw Lyn already finished half of the cupcakes. Mom was looking at her happily.

"You'll grow fat if you keep on eating like that." I teased her poking her cheeks playfully. She tugged her tongue out at me.
I smacked her in the head and took one cupcake from her packet. "Mom!!" She started whining. And mom glared at me. "What did I do?" I asked shrugging my shoulders.
After dinner Lyn went to her room to sleep. I was going to bed when mom stopped me.

"I'm so happy after two months she came out of her room...look she even finished her dinner." Mom said pointing at her empty plates. I smiled and kissed her cheeks.

I was walking to my room when I heard someone singing from Lyn's room. I knocked on her door and opened the door.
"What are you doing?" I asked and she stopped playing and smiled at me.

"My new song come I'll show you." She said tapping the empty sit beside her. I went and sat beside her.

She cleared her throat and started singing.. Her voice was as always soft and sweet.

These days, I'm stuck on my bed and I can't move

Suddenly tears started flowing her eyes but she stilled continued with the song.

That have no answer at all. I'm becoming an adult now..

I thought love would be endless happiness

She finished though she was weeping. I hugged her and started crying with her.
"How was it?" She asked.
"It was really emotional were you trying to kill me?" I teased her rubbing her tears away.

I'll never let another tear slid you eyes Lyn..ever again. I promised to myself.
