'Papyrus' Pov

I looked around as I was carried out of the hospital. The two skeletons that had been in front of my hospital door when I opened it had been 'my' father and brother. Aka, Gaster and Sans, the ones who had been leaving the cards that had been at 'my' bedside table.

They had been absolutely ecstatic to see me awake. Apparently,'I' had been passed out for a couple of months by now, and nobody was sure when I would wake up. The only reason they had known I was even alive was because I hadn't dusted yet. The doctor even told them that they didn't expect me to wake up at all, which... I guess it explains why they were ecstatic.

After the doctors were notified that I had woken up, I was given a quick and uncomfortable check-up before being told I could leave. I got the distinct feeling they didn't like me, so I was more than happy to leave the place. While I don't know Sans and Gaster, I at least felt safe with them.

My joints were still sparking with what is apparently 'Determination', and Gaster had voiced his concerns about it only to be shur down. The doctors' exact words were, 'There is nothing we can do about it, and he's not in pain. The sparks aren't hurting anyone either. Just take him home and keep an eye on him.' Seriously, I know you can't do anything, but the tone they used was... kinda harsh. Almost impatient? It wasn't a tone you used with a concerned parent.

Well, it's not like I can do anything about it anyway, so there's no point in getting hung up over it. Instead, I can focus on the present, which is Gaster and Sans, bringing me 'home', wherever my home now is. As we walked, well, as Gaster and Sans walked, I was being carried, I looked around. We were underground? Or in some type of cave or tavern....

There were 'monsters' all around, and they seemed friendly... to each other. I don't think they liked me too much, though they seemed friendly with Sans and Gaster, though... I wonder, did Papyrus do something before I came along? Or was it something else? I sighed and hugged Bubs to myself as the three of us made our way back home, wherever our home was.

Apparently, we were currently in 'New Home' and lived in 'Snowdin', whatever that meant. We had to go past something called 'The Core' which... I honestly felt a familiar aura from. It felt like the darkness before I felt the burning. Was I in the Core before? If so, why? I assumed I was in some type of void before... unless the Core was actually a void?

I wasn't sure and made a mental note to try and figure it out later, when I am old enough to anyway. I'm only, 4?  At least that's what the clipboard said, so I assume I'm 4 years old... maybe when I'm like 12, I'll be able to figure it out? However, I may have to get a job working with the core to get close to it since it should be considered dangerous... in which then I'll have to wait longer.

Shaking my head, I decided to look around as we continued on our way home. After we got past the core, we ended up in a super hot place, which was called... Hotland. I mean, I know it's hot here, but 'Hotland', really? What kind of unoriginal name is that? They couldn't come up with something better?

On another note, I noticed I didn't seem to be affected by the heat. Is it because I'm a skeleton now? Since I don't have any skin, was I not affected by the heat? Or is it a different reason, like magic? Or were people just not affected by temperature in this... new world? Either way, at least I don't have to worry about overheating or freezing now...

I wasn't able to think about it for long before we ended up in 'WaterFall', which was... a heavily water-based area. Why do I feel like none of these areas are gonna have good names? WaterFall was also very maze like, and I got a headache trying to memorize the way we were going. Honestly, if they wanted to make it hard to navigate, then they succeeded.

When we eventually made it out of the headache known as WaterFall, we reached 'Snowdin', which... another bad naming. As you can guess, it's full of snow and ice. Though apparently, we at least reached the area we live in? I once again didn't notice a change in temperature either, so it's not just the hear I'm protected from, but the cold as well. So that's nice...

It didn't take much longer to reach the house. It was... small? Tiny almost. When we walked in, I could immediately see the kitchen, and we walked into the living room. I could see a set of stairs that led to an upstairs, which only had had 2 doors. Is this a one bedroom home? I thought three of us lived here... unless it was a two bedroom home with no bathroom... if that's the case, then who do I share a bedroom with?

Gaster, from what I can tell, is our dad. This means Sans and I should be sharing since we're the kids, right? However, I think Sans is at the age where he should be having his own bedroom, and since I'm 4, would that mean I share with our 'Dad'?

I hug Bubs to me as I stiffle a yawn, Gaster having put me down on the couch at some point. Sans was sitting with me, and Gaster went to the kitchen. Sans seemed to be talking, but I just zoned him out. I was tired, despite having only waking up recently. Normally, I would fight it, but I'm technically 4 so I decided fuck it. With a yawn, I laid my head on Sans shoulder and 'closed' my eyes. I'll deal with this tomorrow...
