▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

AFTER LAST night's interruption at the Valley Fest, Luna's mood only got worse when the brunette woke up to the news that Demetri was assaulted by the old grandpa at Cobra Kai leaving him bruised and bloodied.

Sam sits beside her adopted sister looking at her stretching while Robby punches and kicks the boxing bag to their side.

"Are you alright?" Sam questions quietly leaning closer to Luna who huffs with a sigh.

"Yeah. Sorry, I'm just annoyed." Luna responds with a small smile that doesn't meet her eyes.

Luna gets up from the ground walking over to the boxing bag Robby's currently stood at.

"Maybe we should take a video of us sparring and post it on Instagram." Robby suggests.

"Everybody already saw us at Valley Fest. No one cared." Sam mutters moving into another position to stretch her other leg.

"You know what the problem is? Miyagi-Do's all about defense." Robby voices seeing Sam and Luna looking at one another with the same expression.

"Defense wins championships." Sam responds with a shrug, "Yeah, but people show up for the offence. That's why Cobra Kai is more popular, all right? We need to show them we can fight, too." Robby confidently states.

"So, what exactly are we supposed to do? Go to the mall and pick a fight? Record ourselves defending ourselves?" Luna suggests stood beside the boy holding onto the bag wanting to hold the bag incase Robby's frustration breaks her favourite item.

"It's not the worst idea." Robby says looking at the Azalea-LaRusso girl with a shrug.

"It's a terrible idea." Luna chuckles in response while Sam walks out of the backyard to talk to their father working on the car out the front.

"Come on, you can do better than that!" Luna mutters seeing the weak kicks and punches Robby's sending into the punching bag.

"Oh yeah? Can you do better?" Robby smirks taunting the girl who scoffs smiling at the boy and launching herself into the punching bag with impressive kicks and punches.

"Okay. Yeah. You can do better." Robby voices with a laugh impressed with the girl who pants exhausted due to the techniques she just did on the bag.

"Boxing classes come in handy." Luna shrugs noticing Sam walking back out the back from inside the house area.

"We're going for a drive. Come on." Sam orders gesturing for the two teenagers to follow her back out the front.

Luna notices Sam and her father seated in the vehicle with its ignition started ready to leave the dojo for the rest of the day.

DANIEL QUICKLY demands the three go inside and grab their bathing suits and anything else they need since they're going to the Beach Club agreeing to meet Amanda there.

Once Luna, Robby and Sam sit back in the vehicle, Sam in the passenger seat with Robby and Luna seated in the back feeling the wind breeze through their hair.

"I still don't understand how going to the beach is gonna help us get students." Robby voices confused.

"It's not the students that I'm after. It's the parents." Daniel explains.

"So, you're counting on kids listening to their parents?" Luna wonders with a smile on her face.

"No. I'm counting on parents doing whatever it takes to protect their kids," Daniel responds looking back at Luna with a small smile on his face before focusing on the road ahead of them again.

"Look, I've tried everything else to promote Miyagi-Do. If this doesn't work, nothing will." Daniel explains.

Robby continues to stare at the side of Luna's face seeing her frustrated frown due to her hair blowing crazily in the wind.

After a quick drive along the beach, Daniel, his two daughters and Robby pull into the beach club seeing Amanda walking towards them.

"See? What did I tell ya? It's always packed here on Saturdays." Daniel states while Sam, Luna and Robby climb out of the car.

"Cool wheels, Daddy-o. Maybe you can give me a ride sometime?" Amanda flirtatiously asks.

"You know it, Doll. We could cruise on down to the passion pit." Daniel says pecking Amanda's lips.

While Luna gags in disgust beside Sam who laughs and grimaces as well at their parents flirting.

Sam follows behind their parents while Luna walks beside Robby who's looking at the beach club building anxiously, "Robs, you all right?" Luna quizzes seeing the look.

"Yeah. Yeah. I just kind of used to work here." Robby explains with a gulp, "Really? When?" Luna asks curiously.

"Couple of days last summer. It wasn't a great fit." Robby says seeing Luna nod in understanding.

Before grabbing a hold of his bicep and leading him through the doors towards the pool area noticing Sam's already saved them spots beside her.

Luna smiles happily while undressing herself out of her bikini cover up and lying down on the beach chair.

Oblivious to Robby staring at her and Sam smirking seeing the look on the boy's face while he stares at her sister.

After a while of lounging in the sun, Luna stands up getting into the pool cooling off her body from the humidity.

Luna comes up from being under the water wiping the water from her eyes and looking over to where they're seated seeing Robby shirtless and talking to Sam about something.

Luna huffs under her breath and swims around for a little bit before getting out of the water and lying on the beach chair once again catching Robby's eyes looking at her dripping wet torso.

Sam sits up noticing a familiar figure standing up on the balcony and sighs sadly, "What's going on?" Robby questions.

"It's Aisha. We haven't spoken since everything that went down at Valley Fest." Sam explains.

"I feel like we should clear the air?" Luna suggests knowing Aisha and Sam have always been close as well as herself and Aisha.

"I don't know. I'm still pissed at them for ruining our performance." Sam responds.

"I say go talk to her. Both of you." Robby suggests looking from Luna and Sam who look at one another shocked with Robby's suggestion.

"Worst case. If a fight breaks out... we could record it." Robby mumbles hearing Luna laugh quietly under her breath.

"Come on Sammy." Luna demands standing up from the beach chair and winking at Robby staring her figure once again.

"Who knows. Maybe we'll come back with a new Miyagi-Do student." Sam says with a shrug walking away with Luna walking beside her towards Aisha who's stood on the balcony still.

Luna smiles seeing Aisha watching them walk over receiving a small smile from the girl, "Hey." Sam greets awkwardly.

"Hey." Aisha responds while Luna stands beside both of them rocking on the backs of her feet anxiously.

"So, how's it going?" Sam questions, "You realise we're not okay. Us as well Luna." Aisha voices receiving a look of confusion on Luna's face.

"Huh?" Luna mumbles frowning looking at her sister, "What are you mad about? You guys are the ones who stomped all over our Valley Fest demo and not only that Hawk practically dragged Luna up on the stage." Sam states.

"Only after your father attacked our dojo. What were we supposed to do? And for the Hawk thing. I'm sorry Lun." Aisha says with sympathy looking at the ex best friend of Hawk's.

"He didn't attack you guys." Luna mumbles, "No? 'snake in the grass'. Real subtle." Aisha snaps, "He's just trying to do the right thing." Sam responds.

"What. So, Cobra Kai is wrong?" Aisha questions, "Pretty much." Luna mumbles under her breath.

"It's not wrong, it's just..." Sam says while Luna sighs in annoyance.

"Okay seriously? What are we doing? It's our summer vacation. We're at the beach, and we're fighting about karate?" Luna interrupts stopping the argument from going any further motioning to around them and the beautiful weather that they currently have.

"When we should be fighting about boys." Aisha nods smiling at the girl who managed to break apart the argument, "Or who's gonna get the last piece of pretzel bread." Sam shrugs with a smile.

"Oh, no. That's mine." Aisha states grabbing the food from the table ahead of them while Sam smiles noticing Luna staring down at Robby sunbathing by the pool and looking after her purse.

Aisha also notices the way Luna's eyes sparkle staring at the Keene boy.

"How long has that been going on?" Aisha whispers leaning closer to Sam who chuckles.

"A while. Although they're both so stubborn and don't admit anything to one another." Sam responds.

Luna looks away from Robby seeing Aisha and Sam's smirks feeling the blush covering her cheeks from being caught staring.

"So, it's just you and abs all summer, training? Along with Sam here of course." Aisha quizzes seeing Luna nod and bite into a cherry from the table.

"God. That must be hard." Aisha taunts while Sam chuckles loudly, "Okay. Come on." Luna voices walking away from the food table to talk some more and get away from Robby since he keeps enchanting her.

SAM, LUNA and Aisha catch up and sit on one of the tables eating their food.

"So, Robby actually moved into our house." Sam says after a while of going back and forth between one another.

Aisha looks at the girl in shock before looking at Luna typing on her phone replying to a text Moon sent her about catching up.

"Your parents let that happen?" Aisha questions, "Well... there's nothing going on. We're just friends. Plus his super into Luna. Not me." Sam responds.

"Uh-huh, well. I'm still not gonna tell Miguel." Aisha replies while Luna looks up now giving them her full attention.

"He misses you Lun... your friendship. So does Hawk." Aisha states softly seeing Luna look at Sam at the mention of Miguel missing her and their friendship completely skipping over the whole Hawk subject at the moment.

Luna doesn't want to ruin her good mood talking about someone she loved— past tense and is no longer friends with due to becoming a bully.

Luna watches an unknown girl walks towards them with a mischievous smile on her face.

"Hey. Look what I got?" the girl states showing Aisha, Luna and Sam the bottle of vodka in her bag, "Where did you get that?" Aisha quizzes stunned.

"I swiped it from the bar." the girl responds seeing the way Aisha and Sam look at each other and Luna squinting her eyes growing suspicious of this girl's true colours.

"Oh, relax. All the adults are getting wasted. No one's gonna notice if we have a little fun." the girl says making Aisha chuckle lowly.

"You should put that back. You could get into big trouble." Sam suggests nervously, "And you are?" the girl chuckles in disbelief.

Luna glares at the girl not liking the attitude she has towards Sam at all, "Oh, Sam. Luna. This is Tory. Tory, this is Sam and Luna." Aisha says introducing the sisters to Tory.

"Oh, the Sam." Tory voices with a low scoff, "Come on. Like anyone's gonna miss one bottle of vodka. I could swipe half the silverware in this place before anyone would notice." Tory mutters.

"You shouldn't steal anything." Sam responds with a shrug, "Amen to that." Luna snarls, "What are you two, nuns?" Tory mocks.

"No. We just don't need to steal and drink stolen goods to have fun." Luna responds with a glare.

"Come on. Are we gonna drink or not?" Tory questions looking at Aisha who looks at anxiously while Luna scoffs and chuckles lowly.

"Okay. One drink." Aisha confirms, "That's my girl." Tory exclaims walking off with Aisha.

Luna glares daggers at the back of Tory's head and Sam looking around hurt that one of her best friends just ditched her.

Luna can't help but feel like that's a little bit of karma since Sam ditched Aisha for the popular crowd earlier this year.

"Come on. Let's get back to Robby. He's probably questioning where we are." Luna suggests walking off and back in the direction of the pool seeing Robby smiling at her.

"Thanks for looking after my stuff for me while I was gone." Luna states with a large smile on her face.

"My pleasure, Lu." Robby responds continuing to sunbathe on the beach chair until they have to head back to the house.

LUNA STANDS beside Robby and Sam packing away their stuff since his nearly time to go.

"I'm sorry about Aisha." Robby says looking at Sam, "She can be friends with whoever she wants." Sam responds flatly packing her stuff into her bag.

"Hey. Have either one of you seen my wallet?" Amanda wonders digging through her bag with a worried look, "Wait, you're missing your wallet?" Robby asks.

"It's gotta be around here somewhere. Can you just spread out? I'm sure it'll turn up." Amanda suggests.

Luna, Sam and Robby nod well more so Robby and Luna since Sam frowns looking over in the direction of Aisha and Tory.

"I'll check the beach. Maybe someone turned it in to the lifeguard." Robby states walking off.

"I'll go with him." Luna exclaims rushing off after Robby towards the beach.

"Hey Robs! Wait. I'm coming with you!" Luna calls out making the boy stop in his step waiting for her so they can walk towards the docks of the beach.

"Okay. Please stay here and if you hear any screaming. Run in the opposite direction." Robby says facing Luna who gulps looking at him.

"What? No!" Luna responds, "Please Lu." Robby begs leaving the brunette on the top of the dock and rushing down onto the beach sensing what's happening.

Daniel walks up from the shoreline after talking to the fisherman that looked a lot like Mr Miyagi seeing his daughter pacing the docklands before a loud yell is heard coming from below.

Daniel also hears it but hears Luna mutter under breath, "Oh. Screw it." Luna snarls ignoring Robby's plead from earlier.

Rushing down to the bottom of the docks seeing three guys bashing into Robby and holding him in a headlock with a switchblade ready to stab him.

"Hey punk! Let him go!" Luna exclaims loudly knocking the male holding the blade into the sand shocking him.

Luna punches and kicks the male trying to grab onto her hearing a grunt jump down from the top of the dock seeing her father standing beside her.

"Let him go!" Daniel orders standing in a stance ready to attack like Luna, "Don't listen to him." Trey— one of the guys demands.

"All right. Grandpa. Pretty girl. Let's do it." Trey taunts launching himself towards Luna only for her sucker punch him in the face and knee him in the crotch.

Knowing her dad's got the two around him sorted, she smirks at the one holding Robby in a headlock watching as he sends Robby into the ground with a harsh shove.

Luna doesn't hesitate in sucker punching him in the chest and leaving him for her father who motions at Robby holding his head.

"Are you okay?" Luna pants a little out of practice from physical fights.

Robby nods while Luna helps him stand up mindful that he might fall backwards due to a possible concussion.

"I've got you." Luna comforts wrapping one of Robby's arms around her neck and helping him lean into her.

"Your grandpa know how to move like that, huh?" Daniel taunts turning towards Luna and Robby.

"Come on. Let's go." Daniel softly demands ushering his daughter and Robby up to the top of the dock away from the three groaning men.

Luna drags Robby to the emergency department just to make sure his head is okay.

After all of the tests and everything come back fine and just explaining that he take it easy for the rest of the day due to the slight concussion he has.

Luna drives both of them home and eventually after everyone in the house is asleep.

She walks downstairs into the studio with a sigh calming her mind down with a sketch in her sketchbook of someone she finds incredibly special.

THE NEXT morning, Luna stands inside with her father meditating and calming her mind down due to the stress she's been through lately with losing the first boy she loved.

Her best friend she misses due to not being allowed around him because of Sam and not wanting her to get uncomfortable.

To now discovering certain feelings for the boy living in the dojo at her house.

Daniel sighs coming to a finish of his relaxation technique, "How's your head?" Daniel quizzes interrupting Luna's exercise seeing her open her eyes and tilt her head seeing Robby smiling at her father.

"Still a little sore. It was really stupid of me to put myself in that situation. And thank you for not listening to me Lu." Robby voices.

"You were doing what you thought was right." Daniel responds while Luna lays on the yoga mat she placed out for herself tiredly since she was up all night sketching in her sketchbook.

Robby grabs his phone from his pocket after watching the video last night while he was in bed seeing how much of a badass the Azalea-LaRusso girl truly is in stance of a threat around her.

"Something good did come out of it, though." Robby states playing the video on his phone handing it to Daniel while Luna looks up from her laid out position.

"'Former All Valley champ and daughter take out three criminals using Miyagi-Do Karate'. Feels like it could go viral. Bet we'd have a packed dojo by noon." Robby voices with a smile.

Daniel looks at the Keene boy with a smile switching off the phone and shaking his head.

"No. Miyagi-Do is about defending yourself and protecting others. Not seeking credit." Daniel responds patting Robby's shoulder and motioning for him and Luna to follow him outside.

Robby stands over Luna taking in her face and offering a hand so she can get off the floor.

Luna giggles staring into Robby's gorgeous eyes and leaping up off the floor following after her dad to the backyard of Miyagi-Do.

"Mr Miyagi didn't recruit me. He wasn't looking for students... he took me in because I needed him. I came to him. Not the other way around. It's time we be patient. Let those who need us find us, right?" Daniel states looking between the three teenagers while Luna breaks out in a smile seeing the familiar figure walking into the backyard.

"Excuse me. Uh... it was unclear if the gate was the front or if I was supposed to ring the doorbell." Demetri says awkwardly.

Said male walks further into the yard returning a smile towards Luna who nods at him happy that he thought about her suggestion of joining Miyagi-Do karate ever since Kreese assaulted him at Cobra Kai.

"Is that a koi pond? How much does it cost to maintain that?" Demetri quizzes.

Luna chuckles seeing the looks of confusion on Sam, Robby and her father's faces.

"May I help you?" Daniel questions, "Uh yeah. I wanna learn karate." Demetri says.

Luna walks over and stands beside the boy, "Well Dem, you have come to the right place. Right dad?" Luna states looking at her father and Sam and Robby with smiles on their faces.

"Exactly what Luna said. You've come to the right place." Daniel confirms with a friendly greeting.

Luna claps happily jumping up and down excited for the future of their dojo.

Robby laughs seeing the goofy side of Luna Azalea-LaRusso and falling even more in love with her than he already is.
