CASEY'S P.O.V

By the time I realized it was late morning and Marcus had to be on the bus. Tito had already taken care of it. That's right, it was ten in the morning and Tito was setting the table for the breakfast he just made. He looked up at me as I was rubbing my eyes in confusion.

"Good morning, how are you feeling?". He asked, pulling the chair back for me to sit in. I groaned as I sat down, I was honestly sore.

Tito placed a bowl of oatmeal in front of me and I thanked him.  "I'm okay, thank you for last night." I whispered.  He set a plate of fresh fruit next to my bowl and set a cup of coffee down on the other side. "Don't mention it." He said. Grabbing his plate and sitting at the table.  An awkward silence filled the room, the oatmeal was delicious though.

"Casey, come work for me." Tito said. I looked up to see him already staring at me.

"I can't." I said, not wanting to have this argument today, or ever.

"Why not? You could be my secretary.. It's sala-"

"Tito can I eat my breakfast without fucking thinking about a job please?" I asked cutting him off , taking a sip of my coffee. I leaned back in my seat with a huff. I now had an attitude. I just didn't want to think, argue, any of that right now. I just wanted to enjoy this food, shower and probably go to sleep.

"Casey, I just worry about you.." He said, I didn't look him in the face. If I did, I might've caved. "I get that Tito but I'm a grown man and I don't need your protection." I finished before getting up and walking to the sink, I started to wash my dishes hoping he would drop the subject.

He did.

He came up beside and I reached for his dishes, cleaning them up as well.  "Can I take you out today?" He asked and I slowly nodded my head. "Where?". I asked, looking up at him curiously. "It's a surprise, go get dressed." He said. I finished the dishes and wiped my hand with a rag. "No funny business." I warned, hurrying up the stairs, I took a quick shower and lotioned my body when I was finished.

"Wait, how do I dress?" I asked him.

"Casual is fine." He stated, already dressed in some jeans that hugged his thighs so nicely and a plain white t-shirt. I nodded and put some briefs on before reaching for a crewneck and some straight leg pants. I rolled them up and slipped into my pair of vans. Tito smiled at me and I tried not to blush.

"How do I look?" I asked after playing with my hair for a little bit.

"Stunning as always." He replied and I couldn't stop the blush that creeped to my face. "Trying to court me?" I teased, reaching for my wallet. "Always have been." He quickly replied, sneaking a kiss on my cheek. I touched my face and I for sure was blushing. My face felt so fuzzy, I cleared my throat and turned around.

      I wish things were different.

"Come on." He said, opening the door for me. I made sure I had my wallet and keys and we headed out. "You sure you okay?" He asked and I nodded again, getting into his car. It was a nice Dark Blue matte Jeep Wrangler.

I so badly wanted to hold his hand and kiss him and just.. I just wanted him.  I buckled up and pulled my phone out texting Adam, we planned to see each other later today also. I found myself really enjoying his company.

He wasn't annoying like other people and we had a lot in common. He had invited me over to his place to watch a new anime film out and I was so excited.  Tito put his hand on my thigh and I looked out the window and tried not to smile. The streets he was turning on looked familiar.

By the alley where we first met was this retro record store and it was beautiful inside. My eyes widened and I turned to him. "We don-"

"You like it, which means I'm interested." Tito said, cutting me off. He didn't know much about records but knew I adored them and hole in wall shops, like some thrift stores, book stores and record shops. He parked the car and made sure I stayed in it until he opened the door for me.

"I think we should get some of those honey croissants too." He whispered and I laughed. "Oh is that why we came here?" I asked, he was obsessed with this bakery down the street but they did have delicious croissants.

"Maybe.." He said, looking around.  I bit my bottom lip and reached for his hand to hold but paused. "Oh, I think you cut yourself?" I said, looking at his hand, he pulled it away and stared. "Hmm, I didn't even realize but I'll be fine." He said, holding the door open for me. I gave him a look of concern but he just smiled at me.

The sound of Lo-fi hip hop was playing and I instantly felt relaxed. Vinyl's were plastered all over the wall and they had a huge sale. "I just thought we could maybe shop the strip and eat at the bakery later on." He said and I chuckled. "You so badly want those croissants." I teased.

He reached for my hand and I my heart started to beat fast. I couldn't understand why he'd want to be seen in public with me.

TITO'S P.O.V

I watched Casey walked around and pick out different vinyl's he had a big smile on his face and was waving some around. "I think you're gonna love this, you do like Yiruma." He said, Yiruma was a beautiful pianist. Casey and I would sometimes drink wine and listen to him.  I pushed the small cart to him and made him put the record in.
-
"You have something in your face." Casey laughed, he licked his thumb and wiped at my cheek causing my heart to beat faster. I cleared my throat and thanked him. I had devoured three honey croissants already and I knew I was taking some to go.

"Tito, thank you." Casey whispered, looking away from me. It looked like he wanted to cry. "You're welcome, eat before I eat it." I said, knowing it took a lot for him to thank me. He hated getting help, I supposed because it was thrown in his face by other people. I don't think I've ever thrown it back in his face and if I did, I never ever realized.

We finished eating our croissants and drinking our coffee in peace, a content smile on his face at all the goodies he was able to grab.

"Marcus is going to Cameron's after school and I'm gonna head to Adam's later on." He said, I nodded. Stopping myself from protesting, I wanted to keep him in my pocket so no one could lay a finger on him. Too much has happened in the past years and I was getting fed up. He seemed to really like Adam though and I was trying so hard not to get jealous.

I looked over to see it slightly raining and checked my work phone. I had a few business meetings at the company to attend to anyways. "I had a really nice time." Casey said, getting up to stretch. I smiled in return, I loved seeing him okay. If he was okay, I was okay. He took a final sip from his coffee and pulled out money to pay the tab. I let him.

"I'll probably be at the office late today." I said to him as we pulled into his driveway.

"It's okay, you've done more than enough. Go home and rest after." He said, grabbing his bags. I bit the inside of my mouth, I didn't want to go to my home. I wanted to go home to him. "Alright, Matthew, have a a good rest of your day." Casey said.

"You too, text me if you need anything." I said, pulling him into a kiss. I deepened it and he groaned. My tongue slid into his mouth and he relaxed against me before pulling away.

"Bye Matthew." He muttered, he was blushing furiously. He rushed inside and I chuckled before dialing Idris on bluetooth.

"Hey bitch." I heard over speaker and I rolled my eyes. "Shut up and get me the reports for Casey's last few customers." I said, before thanking him and hanging up the phone.

CASEYS P.O.V

I pulled up to Adam's apartment and found a nice parking spot. Once I was situated I walked to the entrance and headed towards his door but stopped and hid when I saw Tristan coming out of Adam's apartment.

What the hell was he doing there?
