THE RAIN WAS POURING HARD TONIGHT, PERHAPS TRYING TO STOP ME AS WELL. I leaped from rooftop to rooftop, eyes to the front as the sound of the hero giving chase faded away, the rain blocking him out. A smirk crossed my lips as I landed with a barrel roll and pressed my back against the brick wall of a building, the over hang of the other building sheltering me.

I waited for awhile, snd soon enough, my patience was rewarded. A figure swept across the rooftop, giving chase to something that had long ago vanished. He looked around briefly, very clearly out of breathe. With a curse, he kept charging, determined to find me.

Unfortunately, he had already failed.

Sighing, I slid down against the wall, my shoes soaking as they were buffeted by the rain once more. My blonde hair was drenched, making it stick and cling to my face. I rested my head on my knees while my arms were wrapped around my calves.

Tonight, admittedly, hadn't gone accordingly to plan.

There was a dull ache in my side, as well as a fresh new cut below my eye. That hero had been quite the chatterbox. In other words, he wouldn't shut the fuck up about how I'm the bad guy and how he would put me to justice. I already knew the first part quite clearly, but his little rant made me age by about twenty years.

We got into a scrap, and soon it turned into a chase. An easy game of cat and mouse that I was positive I was going to win. I did, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel a wave of satisfaction after watching him look almost directly at me and dash off.

Why was I being chased? Well, that was simple.

I rescued the hero killer, Stain.

I held a great deal of respect and admiration for the man, as his ideals were similar to mine. We both thought of heroes as unworthy and self absorbed assholes, who didn't care about the role, only the publicity and paycheck. I was pleased when they only sent ten heroes after me, instead of Stain who got seven. I had defeated most of them, but got distracted and was slashed as a result.

Standing up, I stared out into the rain, the thundering pitter patter making an almost melodic sound. The thunder coming in every once and while for the chorus. It was pleasant, and stormy nights such as this were my favourite, as you could just zone out and listen into the rain.

I was meant to meet the League of Villains about half an hour ago, but I got carried away and prolonged the chase. I inwardly shrugged, walking back out into the rain. I pulled my black hood over my head and slipped my metal, teeth like mask from my neck, hiding my features. All except my piercing ocean eyes.

I hopped down from the rooftop and slid down a lamppost, walking down an alleyway. It was dark, not that I minded, but I was still on high alert. My eyes washed over the darkness making out simple objects, like trashcans, cans and such. I stopped, however, when I saw a figure step out and graze his katana on the concrete. My lips curled into a smile under my mask.

"Fancy seeing you here, Mr. Stain." I greet, hands on my hips. He gave a crooked smile as he cracked his shoulder and emerged from the darkness.

"I should be saying that to you. I'll assume you disposed of those pricks fighting you?" He chuckled, sliding the katana into a holster on his back. I gave a shrug, shaking my head.

"Not all of them, should've killed this one asshole though. Man, was he getting in my nerves!" I groaned, lifting my chin upwards. I stretched my arms behind my back and sighed. "I got to go meet up with that disintegration dude for something. I'd love to know what." I add, giving a frown. He grunted before clicked his tongue and tossing his head to the side.

"You don't want in with those crazies, chick. Last time I was there, I almost slit that blue fleabag." He scoffed, back hunched. I nodded thoughtfully, taking his advice.

"I wasn't planning on it, I've heard they're duller then a box of bolts. I'll send your best to the handy man then." I grinned, walking past the male.

"Also, thanks for getting me out of that hellhole. You can count on me if 'ya need anything." I turned around to see the male no where to be found, his words lingering on the wind as it blew by. I gave a smile, nodding to nothing in particular.

"Thanks... I'll keep that in mind." With the final, most likely unheard, parting, I disappeared into the night again. I still had to give these psychos a visit, foggy ideas of what they might ask me conjuring in my mind. Perhaps they want me to join them, or maybe they want me to kill a certain person. The possibilities were almost endless, but the idea of them asking me to join them was amusing.

Why the hell would I want to be associated with them?

Though it was true, their growth had doubled, maybe even tripled when All Might had fallen and retired. That had made me feel truly saddened. He was worthy. Worthy of the title 'hero', not these other little frauds.

While I didn't kill many heroes, I did have the liberty of truly terrifying them, enough to traumatize them. I normally resorted to this, as killing didn't suit me. Playing with the mind and shattering its defenses and sanity, now that was a fun Friday.

"Stop! You're Faux, aren't you?" A voice through the pounding of rain made me stop and pause. I silently cursed at the voice, who so rudely interrupted my thoughts. I turned to see a darkened figure in the midst of the rain. I couldn't see any features clearly, but from the deep voice, I could only assume it was male. I shrugged, giving a laugh.

"And if I am? What will you do?" I ask, my tone one of indifference, like I didn't beileve he would attack me.

Too bad I was wrong.

Spikes were shot my way, making a wave of chill air waft around me. I had dodged in time, a small smirk on my face. I held my mask close to my face, eyeing the person with a fascination.

"Straight to the point, aren't we? You must be in a rush." I comment, placing a hand on the cool ice, making an involuntary shiver cascade down my spine. He didn't say anything, but rushed another attack aimed as me. Pressing his hands to the floor, he sent a wave of ice towards me, most likely trying to encase me in ice.

Instead, I leapt up, landing on his previously made ice spike. I found my footing on the slippery surface and crouched down, now higher then my opponent. I gave a chuckle, eyes glued to the person.

"They sent the number three hero, Flarefreeze, after little, old me? I'm touched, truly." My tone was dripping of sarcasm, and I believe he picked up on it.

"You've released one of the most wanted criminals in history, so I intend to take you down." He replied firmly, heterchromatic eyes blazing though the darkness and rain to clash against mine.

"Well then, let's see if you've done your research." I held my hand up and snapped my fingers, causing the many droplets around us to stop and pause mid air. However, I still continued to feel the many pitters of rain on my body, but I dismissed it, finding much more interest in the mismatched white and red haired male in front of me, who just looked plain confused.

"Weather control? Interesting." He spat. "But it won't stop me." He added, a glint of determination in his eyes. I held up a finger and laughed.

YOU'RE REALLY CLUELESS,
AREN'T YOU?
