PROLOGUE
He is sitting in front of her, gazing at her with a fierce expression. She lacks the courage to look directly at him, knowing that his current level of anger may prevent him from killing her.
She is shivering like a dry leaf in front of him; her feet are ready to lose their strength at any time. She wants to run away from here, from him, and from his life, but his sharp eagle eyes never let her go away from his sight.
He extends his steps toward her. She immediately starts following his steps and moves backwards. Every step he takes towards her is also a step backwards for her.
Tears quickly slid down her cheeks, but her eyes were not ready to look at him. She was mentally searching every corner of the room for a way out. She's trying to find a way to escape from the devil who's standing in front of her.
But to her bad luck, she can't even see the door in front of her, as he is standing in front of her, and she is not ready to look up. Suddenly, a cold wall touched her naked back. She now finds herself in a dire situation. Even as she struggles to breathe, the image of him standing in front of her lingers in her nightmares.
He bent down, licked her earlobe, and said it in a husky voice.
"Where do you want to run my bride?"
She runs out of patience; now she pushes him hard and shouts.
"I am just a substitute in your life."
