I want to explain something first. I'm going to rate every ship out of ten. So below 5 is unacceptable, I just don't prefer that ship. 6 is meh, It's not the worst but by any means it's not the best. 7 is decent, it's acceptable. 8 is good, I like it. 9 is awesome, I love it. And 10 is fantastic, it's the best of the best.

Opinion:
These two were meant for each other. The reason why I love these two is because of how Connie grew from when she first met Steven to where she is with him now. Back then, she had to be with her parents and follow their rules. But when they saw that Steven was with the Crystal Gems, they let her be with him more.

Then eventually, they fused.

After they shared the experience of Stevonnie, they hung out more than ever. Steven later suggests that Connie should sword train and after some trial and error she accepted and train with Pearl.

She now realized that she could fight she wanted to be a part of Steven, to where she could go on missions with him. Then there was the hardest challenge of Stevens life, to go face to face with White Diamond. Connie was able to join the adventure and she was actually a big part of it.

She was only person that was able to carry Steven to Pink Steven

And two years later, they're now together

So for me, the rating is definitely 10/10.
