{Ch.12- i...love...you}

"What if you stayed the night at mine after? My aunt wouldn't care." Beverly and I were in my kitchen, my overseers are gone for work and my brother is with Dana. I shrugged at the girl. We were all going to go to the quarry today, but there's only one dent in our plans: I needed somewhere to go.

I needed to find somewhere to stay the night because both of my care takers were working a double...meaning they'd only be home for an hour before heading off to work again. After the incident John worried about my brother and I do he would let us stay home by ourselves.

"I guess I could, I mean, it seems like part of the 'all-girl' experience." I joked around with the short, red-headed girl whom I call my friend.

"Plus, we can get away from the guys. I mean- and don't get me wrong- I love them, but sometimes ya just, ya know?"

"Bev, what if I don't ever get better, what if this thing keeps coming after me?" I asked out of the blue, it was something that was bothering me for awhile. It also made no sense.

It took her a few moments to respond, she wasn't really here.

"I'm gonna tell you something, but you have to swear that you won't tell the boys. They made me promise not to tell you this until we solved it for you."

I nodded as she began talking. Her breathing was ragged and she kept looking over her shoulder as if It was coming for us. I was as stuck as a stone when she finished...not knowing what to do. Poor Georgie.

"I'm not afraid of anything..." I said to her softly...or maybe it was soft— my ears kept ringing.

"Well, if course you are. If you weren't then you wouldn't have been attacked." She said to me, I pulled my knees up to my chest and shrugged

This whole clown incident has got me questioning my whole life. Am I afraid of something, what if I can't figure out what I'm afraid of, what'll happen if this thing gets me?

"Well, if it isn't my favorite and only stuttering stud. Come in, Big Bill." I yelled suddenly, Beverly looked at me puzzled. I gestured to my front door. Bill walked through my door within the second.

"How'd you know I was coming?" He said slowly, probably trying his best not to stutter, which he didn't...he's gotten better at that— talking slower I mean.

"I saw you through the window," I said and watched his nod and rock on his feet...his hands behind his back.

"O-oh, these are for y-you, Moxie." He said stepping towards me with a blush. He placed a small box of chocolates on the kitchen table.

I smiled and gestured for him to sit down next to me. He did so and blushed slightly, making me as well...the gesture was kind and caring — but it meant so much.

"Thank you so much, Billy." I thanked him and leaned over to place a small, soft, gentle kiss upon his right cheek.

"Hey, Bev." He finally spoke to the girl. Beverly simply greeted him back and excused herself to the restroom. It left just the two of us here.

"Billy, you really didn't have to do this, I'm fine —honest." I told him as I glanced up at him through my eyelashes, sort of looking at the box simultaneously.

"I wanted t-to," he said with a small smile, "it's n-n-no problem." He has his hand on the table so I reached out and grabbed it, intertwining our fingers.

"W-why's it s-so q-quiet?" He asked, staring into my eyes, I looked back at his and everything Bev told me made sense. His eyes told me they had stories to tell, but I'd let them tell me when he's ready; I won't push him to do anything he wouldn't want to.

"Family's gone for the day, Simon's our with Dana and is gonna stay over his friend's, after the quarry I gotta go over to Bev's." I told him.

He furrowed his brows and nodded thinking, obviously. He was looking at our hands on the table for awhile. I took his face in my one hand, pushing it so he would look at me.

"What's goin on in the big brain, Big Bill?" I asked him, you could feel the romantic tension. We both knew t was there, and that's how we wanted it. He looked at me so endearingly.

"N-Nothing...just th-thinking." He said softly. He looked at my lips then my eyes. And I did the same to him. Kiss me.

I made the first move as started to lean towards him, I stopped once I got real close though, "I adore you, Bill Denbrough." I whispered to him softly. Our eyes started to drift close as our lips slightly parted, our heads tilting.

"Ready to go?" Beverly asked right before she came into the room, making us jump apart. We kept our hands together though.

"Y-yeah." It was my turn to stutter, I'm sure my face was bright red. It happens every time I get flustered. Could I even really kiss Bill, I mean, he kissed my best friend just the year prior?

He just walked out and stopped once we got to the Bill and Beverly's bikes. I didn't own a bike, I walked everywhere and well, no foster parent has ever gotten my brother and I one.

I started to walk along side them, my hands in my pockets until Bill rode right in front of me and slowed to a stop. He waited for a second until e turned to me.

"H-hop on."

I jumped onto the back of his back, wrapping my arms around his torso, along the way I put my head on his back and smile...closing my eyes. When I opened them again Beverly was there smiling and silently cooing at us. I rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out at her.

"Hold on." Bill had, I could hear it against his back, like he was talking to me through a door.

He took a turn and once we got far enough stopped at the ice cream parlor. I got off, him following suit. The mounted their bikes in the rack and we began our walk. Into the woods, it was pretty out there,  if what I was about to see would be the most magnificent thing I'd ever see that day.

The other boys stood there, in there underwear, perched at the top of the cliff. I giggled at the sight. They all turned around and immediately regretted it.

"M-moxie, hi." Mike stammered awkwardly. I waved at the boys all of them turning red and waving back shyly.

"Well, who's first?" I asked, them. They all just looked at one another as if they were dumb. I looked at Beverly who looked at me as if to say 'who knows'.

She then started to strip, right down to her undergarments. She was stunning, beautiful. Amazing. The boys slowly gawked at the girl and Bill walked over to his friends and began to strip as well. He was extremely hesitant.

I shrugged my shoulders and reached to the hem of my crop top and pulled that off, revealing a sports bra. My shorts came off after that. The boys gawking at their female friends. We neared the boys as they made way for us. I looked over the edge and at the drop. It was high...really high.

Bev and I, without saying anything walked really far back, grabbed one another's hand, and ran to the edge. Jumping off once we had nowhere else to run. My heart was pounding and it all seemed so surreal. You could see the sun shift as you moved with it. My ear rang with excitement, my breath hitches and I never let go of my friend for a second. I looked and up and saw some birds fly by. Then it all stopped and I was taken by a new kind of beautiful. In a nanosecond I pressed my glasses harder onto my face so I wouldn't loose them.

I looked to see all of the air bubbles float upwards. And they carried me as well, I blinked and saw Beverly. I smile upon her petite lips. The bubbles were all around me, as f they were my lifeline, lifting me to the surface.

I shook my head when I got to the surface, trying to get the water out of my way. My vision was speckled with water droplets.

"We're waiting, boys." I said to them. It took them a while but soon enough it was us...the losers club. In chilly water as the warm summer breeze warmed us. Now here we are, perched on some rocks, in all of our geeky glory.

I sat next to bill my hand on the rock between us. We were all laughing and rolling our eyes at Richie's inappropriate jokes about my body. They weren't necessarily bad, I was kind of flattered. I don't mind Richie at all actually.

I felt something brush against my fingers, I dismissed it though, thinking it was just my imagination.  Then it happened again, I glanced down to see that it was none other than my stuttering stud. He slowly did it one last time, but this time he laced our fingers together.

I smiled at him. I admired him. I adored him. Stutter and all.

He caught me staring but then again I didn't do anything about it. He just glanced at me lips once more and I smirked at the action. He probably didn't even realize that he did it. I suddenly got real close to him, almost cuddled up with him. His arm rest just behind my back, making its way around by shoulder.

"What the hell is this, Bill, are you stealing my girl?" Richie said loudly and obnoxiously.

"Whoops Sorry, Rich, but it seems like Big Bill has more game than we thought." I shrugged jokingly. Bill's face was now pink at the loudmouth's outburst.

I adore William 'Bill' Denbrough.
