I just wanna talk about a SayaHomu fanfic I read a couple months ago, it had an interesting concept to it: "What if Homura was stopped before entering that witch's labyrinth in the first timeline?"

So Sayaka stopped Homura before going down the area, not wanting her to be hurt, and took her the long way to the hospital. Since then they hung out and stuff, and the most interesting parts were:

1. Mami and Madoka were dating

2. During the trip to Kyoko's city, Homura liked Kyoko and Mami but didn't really like Madoka

3. Hitomi and Kyosuke got together and Hitomi felt like it was okay because she thought Sayaka and Homura were dating, which lead to my favorite line "Homura's straight"

4. Homura had a heart attack and Sayaka became a magical girl in order to heal her, not caring about the world and just wanting Homura to be safe, going absolutely apeshit towards a witch that hurt her.

5. Homura was the only reason Sayaka could continue moving forward in life after Mami and Madoka died to Walpurgisnacht (which was unknown to Homu and Saya)

6. Homura was trying to recover in the hospital, Sayaka was always by her side and before Homura's heart stopped, she asked Sayaka to kiss her, when she did Sayaka started freaking out and ran out of the room. She tried cooling herself off in the bathroom, trying to convince herself that "it was just Homura wanting to get her first kiss out of the way" and that "she had no feelings for her" after returning to the room she saw Homura bring wheeled out of the room, her heart stopped, and Sayaka fell to the floor begging and pleading for some god to help her, saying that she loved Homu. That's when Sayaka made her contract.
