Sorry that I wasn't on much yesterday, but I got these mangas for Christmas

And I was reading them.

AND I CRIED ABOUT 8 TIMES

I WAS CRYING THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE LAST BOOK, LIKE FUCKING UGLY CRYING

CAUSE IT WAS FUCKING SAD OMG

The story basically was about Mami and Kyoko's relationship, because we didn't see Mami and Kyoko in the series, the only hint of them having history is Kyoko saying "So I heard ol' Mami bought it" after Mami got eaten by Charolette.

Long story short, Mami saved Kyoko from a witch and the two hung out afterwards. This is when Kyoko was new to being a magical girl, and Kyoko asked if Mami could be her senpai (apprentice) and Mami agreed, saying she always wanted a magical girl friend.

The two fought witches together and shared the grief seed, (I'm pretty sure Grief Seeds can handle multiple uses, but if after it hits the maximum despair of a soul gem, then it turns into a witch, so if you clear a soul gem that doesn't have many impurities then it can be used again)

And then Kyoko's father found out Kyoko was a magical girl, and began to verbally abuse her, saying she made a contract with Satan (he's a cultish preacher) and eventually killed himself and Kyoko's younger sister and mother by burning them all alive. This made Kyoko suicidal, and Mami prevented her from becoming a witch, but then Kyoko betrayed her.

THE PART THAT MADE ME CRY REALLY HARD WAS THIS!

In the third book Mami was trying to use up all her magic so she can join Sayaka in being a witch. Kyoko tried to prevent that and then they got in a fight, Mami was using as much magic as she could, eventually tying Kyoko up in ribbons. Kyoko then apologized for what she did, she apologized for ruining Mami's happiness with Madoka and Sayaka.

Then Kyoko taunted Mami and begged her to shoot her, and so she did. Mami was deep in despair and tried to go into Sayaka's labyrinth but collapsed before it, and laid there waiting to become a witch.

But Kyoko was alive! Mami had killed one of Kyoko's illusions. Kyoko then purified Mami's soul gem and they talked a bit. Kyoko told Mami that she was the only reason she didn't become a witch, that Mami was like an older sister to her.

Kyoko then gave Mami some of her important things and promised she'd come back for them after she brings back Sayaka. Mami then proclaims "When you get back, I can make us a cake!" Just like how she used to after Mami and Kyoko fought witches back then.

Kyoko then killed Sayaka, but refused to use her grief seed, giving it to Mami and then to prevent herself from becoming a witch, she commit suicide.

Yeah....
