Zayn's POV:

I was finally going to do it. I was going to ask Perrie to marry me. I had it all planned out. Since we were going to be alone tonight this better go perfectly. Perrie is honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me, well besides the band. I hope she says yes.

**Later that night**

I had set everything up at a near by secret creek close to my house. I call it secret because only Perrie and I knew about it. In the middle of a small clearing surrounded by trees was a small white pavilion. I had fairy light hanging from the trees as well as the pavilion. Small vanilla scented candles set up along a path leading up the stairs as well as white rose petals. I had a few fat silver vases filled with white roses along the railing on the inside of the pavilion and a few on the outside. To top everything off, the light of the moon was reflecting off the water. It was beautiful.

I checked my watch and saw it was 9:45pm (21:45pm).

She should be here in five minutes.

Perrie's POV:

**Earlier that day**

I had nothing to do all day, so I decided to make my self a bowl of popcorn and watch Disney channel re-runs.

Suddenly my attention was on my phone once I felt it vibrate. I picked it up and unlocked it to see who the text was from.

from: Hubby<3 - Hey baby! why don't you meet me at the creek tonight at 9:50?

I smiled as I read the text, I guess I won't be board all day.

to: Hubby<3 - Of course!! See you then babe! I love you  xx

from: Hubby<3 - GREAT!! cant wait till then! I love you too xxx

I looked at the clock. I have a few hours so I might as well keep watching Disney for a bit.

Zayn's POV:

**Back to that night**

Time couldn't pass any slower. I was constantly checking my watch and pacing around in the pavilion.

Off in the distance I head some leaves being rustled on the ground.

Between the trees I saw Perrie. She looked as stunning as ever.

Her hair was up in a pony tail and she was wearing a red jump suite with while heels. She had a smoky eye with simple lips. I also noticed she was wearing my necklace from our Kiss You music video. She was as beautiful as always.

Perrie's POV:

I finally looked at Zayn, and don't tell him I said this but, he looked like a total dork. But he looked like a cute dork. And my dork.

He was in a black and white tux with a nicely tied bow. I know he must have had some help with his little get-up, because like I said the bow was nicely tied. Anyways, his hair is what shocked me the most. It was perfectly gelled back. And I know he used a lot of hair products, but by the look of it his hair looked rock solid. He must have used bottles and bottles and bottles of hair spray and hair gel.

Typical right?

Over all I cant believe he would do something like this for someone like me. I'm so lucky he is my boyfriend!

Zayn's POV:

When she came into full  view she had a look of shock on her face as she look around at the twinkling lights.

"You like it?" I asked.

Her eyes finally landed on me.

"I love it." She looked so shocked. "Why did you do all this?" She looked at me.

"Can I not take my girl friend on an extravagant date?" I walked over to her and took her hands in mine.

"I-I'm just...speechless." She finally finished her sentence.

I chuckled as I pulled her up the stairs of the pavilion and stopped in the middle. I tugged her hands so that she was facing me. "May I have this dance?" I asked offering out my hand.

"Zayn," she laughed, "there isn't any music." She smiled.

I looked a round for a minute and then looked back at her and snapped. Almost immediately slow music started playing. " Now...can I have this dance?" I laughed as I handed my had back out to her.

"I thought you didn't dance?" She smiled and crossed her arms.

I grabbed her and pulled her body towards mine. "I don't. But I'll dance with you." I looked her in the eyes. She smiled and placed her arms around my neck as I placed mine around her waist. We started moving our bodies just traveling in small circles. Perrie placed her head on my shoulder and I rested mine on hers. I loved moment like these, especially with the girl I love in my arms. I kissed the top of her head and inhaled her heavenly smell.

"I wish I could freeze this moment forever." Perrie whispered into my shoulder.

"So do I."

"At times like this I wish we never had to go back to the reality." her voice was barely auditable, but I heard it.

"I know exactly what you mean." It was now or never. I need to ask her.

Here goes nothing......

I pulled away from her and took her hands in mine.

"Perrie I have something extremely important to ask you." I gulped. I hop she didn't notice.

"Ok?" She replied.

I took a deep breath, "Perrie, you mean everything to me. You are my everything. I don't want moments like these ending between us. Ever. I love you, I always have, and I always will," I slipped down on one knee and pulled a small velvet box from my pocket, "Perrie Louise Edwards will you marry me?" I opened the box so she could see the ring.

Her face had so many emotions running across it as she looked at me and back to the box in my hand. She took a few steps back and looked me dead in the eyes.

"Zayn, I-I...Umm..." She stuttered. I was anxiously waiting for her answer. My heart rate accelerated as I stood up and looked at her waiting for her answer .

"No."

She looked straight at me. If it wasn't for the look in her eyes I wouldn't have taken her seriously.

I closed the box and stuffed it back into my pocket. I slowly walked past her, which she quickly moved out of my way, and down the stairs and started pasting back and forth.

"Zayn, I'm s-so sorry I-..." She stuttered, but I quickly cut her off.

"I just cant believe...I-I mean I..." My blood was boiling, I knew I was going to explode. "God!!" I yelled as I kicked over a few candles, which unfortunately started a small fire, then I marched back up the stairs  and started pacing around again.

"I-I just... b-but why...what did I..." that was it. I couldn't contain my anger any more. Suddenly I turned into a monster. I went around and ripped all the fairy lights down and threw them all over the place. A few sparks flew here and there, but I didn't care.

Once there was no more lights for me to pull I resorted to the vases full of flowers.

I kicked one of them and It flew out of the pavilion and in to the trees somewhere, the flowers went all over the place. I grabbed a hand full from another vase, not bothered by the thorns, and started breaking the stems and ripping the pedals and throwing them everywhere. I ran my hands through my hair, which I'm guessing that by now was sticking out everywhere. I looked at my hands a noticed a few little cuts that had blood smeared across my hands. I continued to trash the pavilion and kick/throw vases every which way.

I finally just collapsed on my knees.

Perrie's POV:

I just stood out of the way and watched as every little detail was destroyed by Zayn.

I've never seen him like this before. It was kind of scary. The only other time he has done something like this was when the rumors of him cheating started to swirl around the internet. But even then all he did was punch a wall.

After all the shouting and throwing was over he just collapsed to him knees.

Zayn's POV:

Tears were brimming my eyes as I looked up at the somewhat scared looking girl in front of me.

"What did I do wrong?" I then let all my emotions spill out.

I buried my face in my hands and began to cry, hard. Harder that I ever have. This was a disaster. I can't believe she said no. What did I do?

I continued to sob loud ad hard. I barely noticed Perrie come in front of me and get down on her knees.

She rested a hand on my shoulder.

I brought my face out of my hands and looked up at her. I'm sure I looked pretty broken, which I was. My heart was shattered to pieces.

She gently brought her thumb up to my face and wiped away all my tears and dried my face. Then she took my face in both of her hands.

"Zayn," She paused.

"Of course I'll marry you."

I hope you liked it. I was kind of laughing while I typed it.

I'm so happy for them that they are finally engaged! No matter what anybody says I will always 100% ship Zerrie!!
