I don't know what triggered me but I followed her and saw them both hugging a tall man.

Annabeth's POV

I walked away from that disgusting lady with no moral principles with my son Luke and we both crashed into another man. 

"I apologize, I didn't see you" I said looking at the man but why did he look so familiar?

"Its okay- Oh my god! Annabeth is that you?" The man asked surprised "Do you remember me? I am Caleb! We used to work together until you quit" 

Third Person's POV

"Oh Yeah Caleb! How are you doing?" Annabeth said smiling and hugged the said person.

Annabeth and Caleb had been best friends then and she was glad to have her nice mortal friend back. 

"So how are you here in this party?" Annabeth asked smiling 

"Oh my wife had worked with Swimmer Percy Jackson once or twice so she was invited here" Caleb explained and his gaze went to the small Luke who was listening attentively to everything. 

"Ahh okay. And this is my son Luke Jackson." Annabeth said smiling  

Luke looked at Caleb carefully and the held his hand out which Caleb accepted gladly, loving the kid's manners already.  Anyway what else would you expect from a child of Annabeth's bloodline. 

He smiled and pointed at two girls who were enjoying with other kids their age. "That is my Blare and Clare, They are both 8 years old"

"They are both really cute and well behaved. I thought they will be messy like you" Annabeth said smiling teasingly

"Actually they're like me only but my wife is very strict and believes in delusional stuff like girls are supposed to do that or this blah blah" Caleb said rolling his eyes

"You both don't seem to get along?" Annabeth said while telling Luke to go to his father.

"Nope not at all Annabeth. She acts like we are her slaves and should obey whatever crap she says"

"Oh how is your job then? Are you still working with that utterly stupid bitch?" Annabeth asked curiously 

"No I quit that blood-sucking company a few months after you did." He said chuckling "Now I am working at the Olympian Architecture as one of the designers" 

"What? Really? Your working in the Olympian company of Architecture?" Annabeth asked shocked

Before he could reply, an annoying voice interrupted them.

"Of course he is working in the Greatest company of Architecture and is my husband" 

Annabeth turned to see Lily scoffing and getting overly touchy with Caleb as if she was trying to show off.

She smirked and rolled her eyes at Annabeth's shocked expression. 

"Oh so this was your bitchy wife?" Annabeth said smirking 

"What? Bitchy wife?" Lily asked sneering 

"Yeah and I don't like Caleb that way so you can stop getting unwanted-ly touchy with him." Annabeth said rolling her eyes 

"He is my husband I can touch him anyway he wants" Lily spat

"Yeah and only with his consent, sweetie" Beth said sweetly 

"Well where was your husband? Are you hiding him under your dresses because he is too ugly?" Lily asked smirking and Annabeth only smiled smugly 

"What's with that smile?" Lily asked a bit nervous

"Oh nothing I should let you meet my husband since your so curious about him" Annabeth said and started looking around until she spotted a familiar head of untamed black hair.

Before she could call out to him, Luke made his way towards them with a grinning Percy on his side. 

Annabeth smirked when she heard Lily gasp loudly.

Lily's POV

I gasped loudly when I saw the child of the witch, Luka or Lake or whatever bring Percy towards them. 

From side I saw Annabeth smirking.

Why though?

He held onto Percy Jackson's hands as if he had done it a hundred times before. 

HOW DARE HE?

HOW DARE HE TOUCH MY PERCY LIKE THAT!!!!!!

I am going to kill that Lake/Luka/whatever his name is kid. 

Before I could go beat up that kid, Percy spoke taking my entire attention.

"Hey Beth! Luke told me you called" Percy said grinning and I almost melted into a puddle of warm water but what pulled me back was 'Hey Beth'

Did he know this witch?

"Oh i wanted you to meet my nice M friend. Caleb this is Percy and Percy - Caleb" 

(M friend: Mortal friend)

They both shook hands and Caleb stared at Percy surprised.

"How do you know her?" Lily asked rudely

"Uhm Do I know you?" Percy asked scratching his neck

I looked at him disbelievingly. 

Those words felt like a stab into her heart. 

"Percy!! I am Lily. Remember we used to be competitors when we were 18" I said hopefully

"Oh yes Lily, your that Lily." Percy said awkwardly "I completely forgot about you as its been ten years right?"

I rolled my eyes and snapped "So how do you know her?" I said pointing at a smirking Annabeth.

"Oh Annabeth? Oh she is my um wife? That's how I know her" Percy said laughing to fill up the awkward tension.

Caleb's eyes widened in shock and I screamed hysterically "YOU'RE MARRIED!??????"

"Yeah and Luke is our first son"

"First son?" Caleb asked surprised

"Yeah that is Silena, She is 9" Percy said pointing at the small girl with black hair who was playing with a blond haired man.

(I wonder who it is?)

"Mommy!!!!" a small boy with bright blond hair called running towards Annabeth 

"Who is that?" I asked scoffing

"That is Ethan and this is Emma" Percy said picking up a black haired girl "They're both 5 and twins."

"So you guys have 4 kids?" Caleb asked surprised still not believing that his best friend was married.

"No we have 5, there is also Charlie who is 7" Percy said shrugging as if it was the most common thing in this world.

Annabeth smiled and gave Ethan to a almond haired woman who smiled and walked away carrying the boy. 

"Anyway Percy did you know that my husband is working in Olympian Architecture?" I said getting touchy making Percy uncomfortable

"Oh your working at Annabeth's company? Beth why didn't you tell me?" Percy asked pouting

"I swear I didn't know Perce" She said smiling seeing her 28 year old grown ass husband pout and still manage to look like a handsome cute baby.

"Wait. Annabeth's Company?" I asked sneering "I think you didn't hear me well Percy baby, I said the Olympian Architecture which will of course be controlled by an intelligent male as females belong to the kitchen only"

(Kitchen? Oh yes I belong to the kitchen, where was that knife?)

Percy laughed out loudly and said "Lily why are you being irrational? Annabeth Jackson aka my wife is the CEO and owner of Olympian Architecture"

"What? My husband is working under a woman? I won't allow it" I said sharply "Caleb you are going to quit that job tomorrow"

Before Annabeth could protest Caleb replied

Third Person's POV

"No"

"What?" Lily asked eyes wide

"No I am not going to quit!" Caleb replied rolling his eyes

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to" He said clicking his tongue

"I don't care you should do as I say or I'll leave you"

Caleb snorts and takes a folded paper from his pocket and hands it to Lily 

"What is this?"

"I thought you knew how to read?" He mocked "Well I will tell you. I want divorce!" 

"Good choice man" Percy said showing thumbs up

"I want you out of my life don;t you dare try to come near me again" He said growling and walked towards his daughters to tell them the happy news.

Lily stood their speechless as Annabeth and Percy also walked away from her, hands intertwined. 

Did she just lose her life in a second?
