Jasmine's POV

"Hey Jas, a little help here please." 

I looked up from the Greek history book I was reading to see my best friend James walking wobbly while carrying about a ten book in his arms. 

"Oh James, How many times should I tell you not to carry all the books together!" I scolded mildly as I took half of the books from him, making him able to see once more.

"Thanks Jas, your the best!" James said grinning widely 

"I know" I said winking and didn't notice how his ears turned red.

"Ahh Did you know that two new students are joining today?" My friend Angel asked running up to me.

"I didn't know about that. Have you seen them?" I asked curiously

"Yeah and sis the girl is so good looking, I almost became bi for her" Angel said grinning

"Well I don't have to become one unlike you" I said cheekily and she asked excitedly "So your planning to ask her out for Prom?"

"Yeah if I like her" 

(Okay lemme make this clear, Idk when Prom is so lets all just ignore the timing because I am too lazy to think abt something else. Okay deal?) 

"Great. You both will look good together" Angel said clapping her hands excitedly 

"Ahh we'll see" 

----------------TIME SKIP TO CLASS----------------

"So kids today we have two new students joining us and I would like it if you treated them well" The teacher said and a boy and girl walked in. 

I gaped as I stared down at the boy's legs because there instead of foot it was hooves. What in the name of Holy Jesus?

I blinked twice to make sure that i was seeing right. I scanned the girl to see that she had bright green skin and green hair. 

What the hell? Did people start dyeing their skin as well?

The boy had long horns on his head and he had goat leg and tail. Okay I think its time to visit the hospital because I am going crazy. 

I looked around in the class to see that no one found any of this surprising, Wait so am I the only one who can see this? I rubbed my eyes once more to make sure  that this was not the effect of light though I didn't know that light could make people grow hooves and dye skin green.

"Hello I am Juniper and this is Grover. I hope we all get along" The girl said sweetly while the boy just nodded awkwardly

"Thank you for the wonderful introduction Grover and Juniper now please occupy the empty seats" The teacher said huffing

I looked wide eyed at the two alien people who just kept coming closer to me. Do they know that I have gone full blow crazy? 

No,How would they know that? Its not like they can feel my emotions or something like that. 

I chuckled. Silly me getting worried for nothing. 

However it was surely not my day as both the Grover and Juniper took the seats right beside mine. 

Shit shit shit. What do I do? Should I act like that a pair of goat legs is not right next to me? Or should I just ask Juniper how she dyed her hair? Would that sound too rude?

'Hey Juniper where did you dye your skin from?' - Jesus no I sound stupid. 

I was freaking out by each small moment they made and I could sense Grover's eyes one me which made me panic even more.

"hey I am Grover, what is your name?"

"Uh I am Jasmine Gardens, nice to meet you" I said smiling

Whew that was okay, good going Jas! I cheered myself 

"And did you know that my dentist told that I need a crown and I was like 'I know right'" I blabbered laughing while Grover blinked 

I think he didn't get the joke....Uh oh this is awkward. Why is this so awkward?

God was it always this hard to keep a conversation going?

"So Jasmine, do you work?"

"Oh I used to work in a shoe recycling shop. It was sole destroying so i quit" I said laughing and he again stared at me with blinking eyes which immediately made me stop.

This is so embarrassing. I thought hiding inside my sleeve.

"Miss Gardens please show Juniper and Grover around"

"Oh yeah sure why not, Its not like I have any problem, Sure sure" I mumbled groaning 

"Hello there Jasmine, I am Juniper" She said cheerfully and I nodded weakly but my inner bi was awakening as I suddenly noticed that she was my exact type expect for the green skin. 

I took them all around the school while at the same time trying to remember all the pickup lines I've heard. 

"Hey Juniper do you like Raisins? How do you feel about a date?" I asked sweetly and she laughed 

"That was funny" She said softly and I was happy that she reacted atleast.

"Did you just come out a oven? because Dam your hot" I said shyly

She blushed and I heard the bells of triumph ringing around me which was suddenly torn apart by a goat called as Grover

"Sorry she is taken Jasmine" He said firmly

"Oh by who?" I asked curiously

"By me of course"

"What?! Are you sure you want to date someone who has goat legs" I asked questioningly to Juniper who gasped in response

"Y-you can see his legs?" She asked in surprised

"Yeah and don't feel bad but from where the hell did you dye your skin green?" I asked confused

"Wait first tell me, are both your parents alive?" Juniper asked and I nodded

"Oh she is like Rachel then" Grover muttered while sniffing the air and that was creepy. 

"Lets tell her then" She said

Tell me what?

"What are you guys talking about?" I asked confused

"Ahh Jasmine, come let me tell you a story" Grover said and began "Once upon a time there was a boy called Percy Jackson and he-"

-----------------------TIME SKIP BECOZ I AM LAZY?----------------------

"Oh so I am a clear-sighted mortal." I said confirming it one last time

"Yes so Please take these drachmas and contact us if something suspicious happens here as we have to go"

"Yes my lord" I said playfully bowing

Grover smiled and Juniper giggled

"Ahh before you guys go, Juniper I kinda liked you and that is why I tried to flirt but now I have lost those feelings so I hope you would forgive me" I said politely and she smiled sweetly

"Its alright Jasmine and see you soon" She said and they both walked away towards a a well hidden place to shadow travel with the help of a friend.

I smiled and pocketed the drachmas safely.

Suddenly there was a small tap on my shoulders. I turned around and saw a red faced James standing there.

"James?"

"Uhm Jas will you be my prom date?" He asked looking down nervously

I smiled and nodded "I would love too"

"Really?" He asked happily

"Yep" 

He smiled and kissed my cheeks sweetly, making me blush this time. I smiled as I had found my own happiness at last.
