Back to Gravity Falls
Point of View: Mabel
"Dipper! Dippy! Dipping sauce! DIPPER!" I yelled, on the bus. My twin brother Dipper was fast asleep. I couldn't blame him. We'd spent all night packing so that we could be ready to get on the bus in the morning. "DIPPER, WAKE UP!" I yelled one final time.
Dipper's eyes shot open. "Agh, Mabel! Why did you scare me like that? I'm tired!" He huffed, beginning to close his eyes again.
"Well, for one," I began, "We're here." He rubbed his eyes and sighed, grabbing his suitcase as I grabbed mine. We got off the bus alone, and Dipper's head kept bobbing, his eyelids flickering. "What's wrong, Dip?" I asked.
He sighed again. "What do you mean? How the heck are you not tired Mabel, we stayed up all night packing!" I smiled at him, and closed my eyes, breathing in the familiar smells.
"Dipper, it's so great out here! I can't risk being sleepy, or I might be grouchy, like you! That would be a nightmare." I giggled. He glared at me, gently shoving me in the arm.
He argued, "I'm not grouchy. Just really..." he yawned, "... tired." We continued walking, and soon came to the Mystery Shack. It had been four years since we first came here, but we had come every summer since. The first time wasn't a very calm visit, as I suppose you know, but it had been nice here ever since.
"Hey you two!" Called an old, grouchy voice. One I recognized instantly, and that made me smile.
"Gruncle Stan!" Dipper and I called in unison, as we both ran up to him. I gave him a hug first, then Dipper, a bit more shyly. "Where's Gruncle Ford?" I asked, looking around. I didn't see him, and became a bit more worried. "Is he okay?"
Gruncle Stan smiled. "Ford is okay, he's preparing your room. Speaking of, why don't you go up and say hi to him, and get your stuff in that room?" He laughed.
Point of View: Dipper
Mabel ran quickly up to our room, and though I followed a bit slower, I came to the room just in time to see Mabel jump and tackle-hug Gruncle Ford, though luckily, he caught himself before he fell.
"Mabel!" I exclaimed. "You can't tackle him like that, you're sixteen now, almost seventeen. You weigh more than you did when you were twelve." I sighed, giving Gruncle Ford a more gentle hug, as to not knock him down or kill him, and began unpacking.
The sun was going down, and I was tired, so after putting up most of my stuff except a few shirts and pants, maybe hoodies, I skipped dinner, said goodnight to everyone, and lay down in bed. I closed my eyes, hearing Mabel come into the room and get into her bed a few hours later, after I still hadn't been able to fall asleep.
I rolled around in my bed, but it wasn't my position that was making me unable to sleep. It was the feeling... a feeling that someone was watching me. I attempted to shake it off, and soon fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.
Then I heard one last whisper, a voice that seemed so familiar. One that was terrifying, that made me mad and scared. "Welcome back, Pine Tree."
Okie dokie, I know... strange ending, yeah. I hope someone sees this, I'll start working on a chapter two as soon as possible, but summer's almost over, and I have school... idk, I just felt like doing that, but no, a floating dorito demon is not watching Dipper... but that doesn't mean Bill isn't.
