"We serenade them!" Kaminari suddenly exclaimed, causing both Midoriya and Kirishima to choke on their lunch.

"I'm sorry, what?" Midoriya was the first to register what was begging suggested.

You see, all three boys had impossible crushes. Their crushes were people who didn't like to show emotion, so they had no idea how to confess to them. Valentine's day was coming up, and all they wanted was to spend it with their crushes.

"Yeah! Jiro will love that!" Kaminari exclaimed, his face lighting up even more.

"Yeah, well I'm not sure my crush will." Kirishima said dejectedly.

"You said you kissed your crush though, right? How are you telling me she won't fall head over heels for a manly man such af yourself serenading her?" Kaminari asked. Kirishima whipped his head to look at his friend.

"It was an accident!" He hissed, then he furrowed his brow, "She?" He asked, catching all of what the electric blond had said. At this, Kaminari raised an eyebrow.

"Wait. You're telling me the kiss was accidental. And that it's a dude? How do you accidentally kiss a dude?! Not that I'm judging, but man..." Kirishima flushed.

"He's been avoiding me since then." At this, Midoriya's eyes went wide with realization.

"It's Kacchan…You like Kacchan!" He laughed, sounding giddy, "I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you. I'm just relieved! I'm not the only one with a difficult guy crush!" Kirishima's eyes widened.

"You…you don't like Bakugo-" Midoriya's face turned into that of shock.

"Wh- What?! No! No no no no!" He denied, vehemently, "Todoroki isn't the easiest to confess to, though," he said , quietly.

"Oh, man,  you guy's have it bad..." Kaminari let out a low whistle.

"I still say we should do it. Tomorrow is Valentine's day. We can do it after dinner in the common area of the dorms. We can all sing the same song, at the same time. The whole class will be there, so we don't have to worry about it being like, intimate."

Midoriya sighed, then nodded in agreement.

Kirishima shrugged, "Sure, what could possibly go wrong?"

In hindsight, they should not have agreed to allowing Kaminari pick the song.

It was after dinner, and the blond had gathered their classmates in the common area as he skimmed through his playlist for the offending Mandy Moore song that he had picked. Midoriya and Kirishima stood up front, nervously.

The class looked intrigued, not quite knowing what to expect from the fact that Kaminari had claimed they had a special Valentine's day performance.

Jiro, Bakugo, and Todoroki occupied the couch, looking a bit less enthusiastic than the rest of the class, but being too curious to say anything.

Suddenly, the music started. Kaminari had a short measure or two to run from the speakers to center stage before the lyrics started.

They had decided to split the different verses, with the other two providing the backup singing.

Kaminari started:

Stupid Cupid, you're a real mean guy~
I'd like to clip your wings so you can't fly~
I am in love, and it's a cryin' shame~
And I know that you're the one to blame~

Stupid Cupid, stop pickin' on me!

Midoriya nervously stepped forward as his part came up:

Can't do my homework, and I can't think straight~
I meet him every mornin' 'bout a half-past eight~
I'm acting like a lovesick fool~
You even got me carryin' his books to school~
Hey, Hey, set me free~ 
Stupid Cupid, stop pickin' me!

It seemed though the only one of them that could manage to look at the audience was Kaminari, who was dancing like it was a full performance.

This next part, all three of them sang:

You mixed me up for good right from the very start~
Hey, go play Robin Hood with somebody else's heart~

Kirishima inhaled, ready for his part. Kaminari was hoping to die for giving him this verse:

The thing that bothered me is that I like it fine~

Stupid Cupid, stop pickin' on me!

Kirishima took a chance, looking at Bakugo. His heart fluttered when he saw that, even though the blond still had a scowl on his face, his cheeks were dusted with the slightest bit of pink.

There was a small instrumental break, where Kaminari tried to encourage the other two boys to dance, to no avail.

The rest if the sting was sang by all three if the boys:

As the music ended, their classmates cheered. The boys were grinning, all three of them blushing like lovesick fools.

To everybody's surprise, Bakugo responded first. He stormed to his feet, grabbed Kirishima by the wrist, and hauled him off up the stairs, grumbling something that sounded suspiciously like, "You didnt have to sing. You could have just asked…"

Jiro was next.

"Oh. My God." She burst into laughter, "BABE! I can't believe you TALKED THEM INTO DOING IT!" Kaminari was smirking.

Midoriya's eyes went wide, "Kaminari?" He asked hesitantly, face an impressive shade if red.

"Jiro and I started dating 3 weeks ago, but we wanted to have fun with it, so we pretended like we weren't so that I could talk you two into serenading Bakugo and Todoroki!"

Midoriya let out a small whimper, looking over to the other boy in question. Todoroki got to his feet.

"Midoriya, may I speak with you alone?" He asked in an even tone. This made Midoriya more nervous, as he had no idea what to expect.

As they made their way to a private area of the dorms, Kaminari couldn't help but notice that Todoroki slipped his hand into Midoroya's on his way out.

So, it looked as though serenading them had been a good call after all. He smiled, pulled Jiro in close, kissing her in triumph.
