Roy was heading from the cafeteria as well. He had overheard much of Edward's conversation with Alphonse, since he had "accidentally eavesdropped" while reading a newspaper from the local towns report. "Why in the world does he hate me so much..? What did it ever do to him?" Roy muttered to himself. His thoughts were interrupted when he bumped into a fellow female soldier. "Oh! Hello there Colonel Mustang." Riza flustered. "Lieutenant..where are you off to?" Roy asked. He was curious since he never really saw Riza anywhere else besides his office. "Ahem, I'm off to retrieve the FullMetal Alchemist. I'm having a hard time locating him since I asked him to go pick up some files from the copy room.. Do you mind going there to see if he's there yet? Or around the building?" She inquired. Roy's stomach lurched. 'Damn brat I don't want to go looking for him.' he thought to himself. He swallowed a little and responded, "Sure, I'll go take a look.." He nodded, trying to keep his voice from shaking. Riza perked an eyebrow at him but said, "Alright.. But leave quickly.. And make sure to come straight back to the office. You have work to do." And with that, she turned to leave. Roy stood in the hallway, listening to her footsteps echo and vibrate the silence.
