Betsy is the mom of most of my cats, I originally named her Kitty Softpaws after the puss-in-boots character but I was very little and forgot she had a name so I renamed her to Serafina after watching Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper, and eventually, years later, I read her tag for once and noticed it said her name is Betsy and it stuck. I also thought her eyes were blue until even more recently when I realised they're turquoise and only look blue in most lighting.

She used to be really fluffy, I think she's meant to be a persian cat, but she went through the dryer and it shortened her fur. That was the first time I ever saw her eyes but I do miss the floof. For her lore I think she probably decided she likes short fur better and got it cut.

She wears two bracelets that I decided long ago were to counteract a curse she was given, I don't remember the exact purpose or the exact details of the curse but the bracelets have weakened the curse so much that she can now take the bracelets off for longer periods of time than when she first got them. Maybe one day she won't need them.

I did some math and decided her in-universe birthday was in 1989.
