So, the short version of the show is that a girl who wants to die stars hanging out with a serial killer who doesn't feel like killing her, but says he will anyways.

Now for a better description.

Rachel Gardener wakes up in a white room, only remembering that she had come to the hospital with her parents for therapy after she'd watched somebody die.

However, as soon as she leaves the room, she quickly realizes that she's no longer in the hospital, and now has to climb the Tower of Babel as a sacrifice, solving puzzles on each floor to and avoid dying to the killer that resides on each floor.

On the first floor, she meets Zack, but manages to get away, much to his annoyance.

On the second floor, her memories return and she becomes emotionless. Zack, who had followed her there, kills that floor's killer, but no longer wants to kill Rachel, because her expression is too boring, and now she wants him to which is also boring.

Zack becomes a sacrifice as well, however, for breaking the rules. Because he is an idiot and knows it, he makes a deal with Rachel. If she helps him get out alive, and if she can at least try to make an interesting face, he'll kill her like she wants him to.

It's great. The fandom is funny too, which is also great.
