Okay, is no body else concerned for the students of Hogwarts? I mean how was Hermione the only student to figure out Professor Lupin was a werewolf? 

I mean, Snape wasn't just subbing for the third years, but for the whole school. I would imagine he gave the werewolf essay to everyone to increase his chances of Lupin being exposed.
