For Anyone Who Ships Fremione

This ship is between Fred Weasley and Hermione Granger requested by @DuMbO3XtReMe and @lunalovegoodrules7 I hope I got your names right!

"Terribly sorry, dear, I don't think anyone's up yet, and Arthur isn't supposed to pick up Harry until five."

"That's alright Mrs. Weasley, I need to start reading our course books, anyways."

Hermione followed Mrs. Weasley into the kitchen as the woman had a fit when she had been told the girl hadn't had any breakfast before coming to the Burrow. The two walked in where Fred was eating a banana by the counter.

"Oh, Fred, great! Talk to Hermione until Ginny wakes up, will you? And for Merlin's sake, have something other than a bit of fruit for breakfast, you know better than that!"

The woman fixed the two a "proper breakfast" before going outside to tend to the garden.

Hermione read The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection as she nibbled on a piece of toast. Every so often she would glance up to see Fred looking at her with a blank look.

After about five minutes of this, she got annoyed and set the book down with a sigh, "Can I help you?"

"Not at the moment," he said

"Then why are you looking at me?"

"Because I'm wondering why you're reading a book in the middle of August."

"I like reading," she stated simply.

"Yes, I can see that, but why aren't you doing something exciting?"

"What could I possibly do right now that is more exciting than reading?"

"Oh, Granger," He said as he walked over to put an arm around her shoulders. "I have so much to teach you."

*****

"Fred Weasley!" Charlie yelled. "You are so dead!" He tried to get out of bed, but his covers were all twisted and he only fell to the floor in a pile of limbs.

Bill had woken up from all the noise his brother was making and was currently looking around frantically, his hair sticking up all over.

Hermione watched all of this from the doorway and was soon joined by Ginny who was rubbing the sleepiness from her eyes, "What'd they do this time?"

"Fred was trying to show me how to have fun."

"Did it work?" She asked.

"Oddly enough, that was the best thing I've seen all summer."

The two girls giggled as Fred bolted from the room, followed by Charlie, who had been doused in green paint.

*****

"Hello, Hermione."

"Fred."

"I was thinking-"

"There's a first."

"Would you like to go to the Yule Ball with me?"

Hermione had to remind herself to breath as her breath hitched in her throat, "Go to the Yule Ball? With You?"

"That's what I said. I'm assuming Ron hasn't asked you, because he's a prick."

"No, no one's asked me, yet, but-oh, why not? Yes, I'd like that very much."

*****

"'Ello."

Hermione looked up at the sound of the thick accent, "Hello, Victor."

"I vas vondering iv you 'av a date to the Ball."

"I do, actually. Fred Weasley, perhaps you know him. Why?"

"Oh. No reason."

*****

"Hermione, Neville's right-you are a girl. . ."

"Oh, well spotted," Hermione said annoyed.

"Well-you can come with one us!"

"No, I can't," she snapped.

"Oh, come on," Ron said impatiently "We need partners, we're going to look really stupid if we haven't got any, everyone else has. . ."

"I can't come with you," she blushed a little. "Because I'm already going with someone."

"No, you're not!" said Ron. "You just said that to get rid of Neville!"

"Oh did I? Just because it's taken you three years to notice, Ron, doesn't mean no one else had spotted I'm a girl!"

"Okay, okay, we know you're a girl," he said. "That do? Will you come now?"

"I've already told you! I'm going with someone else!"

"Who then?"

Hermione got very quiet and looked at Harry, "Promise you won't kill him?"

"I promise," Harry said, suddenly curious.

"Fred Weasley."

Ginny slipped out before the explosion.

"Since when are you two a thing?"

"Since five minutes ago," and, with that, she walked strait for the girls' dormitory.

*****

"Why did you ask Hermione to the Yule Ball?" Ron demanded.

"Er, because I like her. That's usually how these things work, Ronnie," Fred stated.

"I thought you liked Angelina?"

"That ship has sailed, dear brother."

"You're so weird."

"You're the one interrogating your brother for asking out a girl he has never shown any interest in, whatsoever."

~Time Skip to May 2, 1998~

"Hermione!" Fred ran over to his girlfriend and embraced her.

Hermione pecked him on the lips, "I love you."

"Stay with me?"

"Always."

The two ran through battle together, assisting any student who needed it.

Eventually, they were fighting alongside Percy, Harry, Ron, and Luna.

An explosion ripped through the air and the group was blasted back. It took all of Fred's strength to hold onto both the piece of wood that was his only weapon, and the hand of the girl he had loved for nearly four years.

He sat up and pulled Hermione to her feet, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. You?"

"Great."

"Hermione! Fred! What happened to Luna?" Ron shouted.

"I don't know," Hermione yelled back, straining to be heard over the noise.

The five started sifting through the rubble and eventually found the girl crouched under one of McGonagall's enchanted desks that had gone rouge. The desk had prevented her from being too badly hurt and Percy took her to find Madam Pomfrey.

Hermione and Fred stuck with Harry and Ron until Voldemort called off the attack. They all made their way back to the castle and into the Great Hall.

"Fred! Ron! Thank Merlin!" Mrs. Weasley came at the two brothers with one of her bone-crushing hugs. "We thought something had happened to you."

"Come on, Mum. You're not getting rid of me that easy," Fred smirked.

Mrs. Weasley wiped her eyes and gave a weak smile, "Yes, I suppose I was silly of me to think that a fight would take you down after all those explosions you've caused."

Ron never admitted that he had once felt something for Hermione, and stepped back for his brother. He went on to marry Luna Lovegood as he got past the only side of her he had ever known, and to the one he fell in love with. They had one daughter together they named Pandora Lavender Weasley, in honor of Luna's mother, and a very kind girl who had lost her life to Fenrir Greyback. Luna had nothing against her, and was actually the one to propose Pandora's middle name. Ron became an Auror after working with Fred and George at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes for a little while. Luna became the Care of Magical Creatures professor at Hogwarts and was loved by all of her students.

Fred and Hermione's love for each other only grew stronger and the two eventually got married soon after Ron and Luna and just before Harry and Ginny. They had a son, Isaac John Weasley, and a daughter, Athena Sapphire Weasley. (If you know where I got those names, let me know in the comments!) Hermione became the British Minister for Magic after working for several years in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Fred worked with his brother, George, in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes for his whole life.
