10k Reads!!! (Even though it's at 15.4 now. . .)

Time for the review of Fantastic Beast and Where to find them!

Okay, where do I even start? BEST MOVIE THIS YEAR!!! I won't tell you what happens because 1. I don't want to spoil anything and 2. I tried doing a summary at first and I probably wrote an entire essay about the first 30 minutes of the film, and considering the movie is 2 hours long. . .

Yeah, you probably don't want to read that any more than I want to write it (Which is actually a lot, but I don't want to stretch this out into 5 chapters.)

Anyways, the story was amazing as always when it comes to Harry Potter, the characters were so well developed, it has the perfect ending, you could add more onto it, but it's not one of those that are just a setup for a second movie. It also had that little Harry Potter thing that matches up with the events of the time period and the rest of the Wizarding World.

Oh, by the way, two, possibly three, sorta major characters die.

Don't worry, it's not Newt, or any of the three he spends most of the movie with, Tina, Jacob, and Queenie.

If you have never read any of the books, or watched any of the other movies, you could watch this just fine. There are several references to the original series that any Potterhead would catch, but if you take them out, the story doesn't change all that much, so feel free to use it to introduce that one friend to Harry Potter who "Doesn't like to watch the movies before reading the books and hates reading long books". The book of the same title is actually a textbook, so there is obviously not story to follow, so it tells the story of the author.

However, I would not recommend this movie for anyone with a maturity age under 13, because it is very violent.

Hey, I just realized that this was the first Harry Potter movie I saw when it was in theaters!

Anyways, I won't give to much away, but a few appearances/ mentions in the movie any Potterhead will recognize include:

Gellert Gridlewald
Albus Dumbledore
Bowtruckles
Thunderbirds
Lestrange

Deathly Hallows Necklace Similar to Mr. Lovegood's
Nifflers
Demiguise (Their hairs are used to make standard invisibility cloaks)
And many others!

If you saw the movie and noticed anything else, please let me know and it'll be added to the list along with who mentioned it.

Well, that's all I can think to put at the moment, but there are four more Fantastic Beasts movies coming out within the next decade, so, if you've stuck with me that long, you'll get to read my reviews of those movies, probably.

Also, please tell me I wasn't the only Potterhead and Maze Craze that watched it and was like oh my goblins, the things these two characters have in common.

Sorry it took so long to get up, I've been super busy lately, but by next week my life should be a little less chaotic. See you guys!
