I see the seas of words dance and twirl in a fairy-land
They each lean forward yearning for a chance to be seen
"Pick me" they call "Pick me"
As I dive into one I'm a pirate, a wizard
Nothing can stop me as they call me

They are friends who offer shelter and warmth
They teach me to make my first steps, for I am only a a child
They guide me, hold me,
Inspire me

They watched me throughout my life giving pushes here and there
Like a mother bird with it's hatchling
They comfort me through good times and bad
Sorrow and pain they relieve of

They bring joy beyond measure
They bring happiness and hope
They free my soul

Till at last I must withdraw
They call "Come back, come back!"
I tell them fear not for I shall return
And one day be with them forevermore
