~Akane~

I groaned a bit waking up, i was laying on Sesshomaru in the middle of a forest, the sun was setting, i heard a rustle and looked around sitting up a bit, a little girl came walking out of the woods then suddenly Sesshomaru sprang up and growled at her, i'll admit i got a little spooked but i wasn't scared, the girl didn't seem scared either as she walked closer and left a bamboo container full of water before leaving.

I propped up Sesshomaru against the tree using the white fluffy thing as a pillow, he didn't say anything as i did this though and after i was done i went to step back but Sesshomaru caught me and pulled me closer, i blushed as his arm wrapped around me "Rest up, you're hurt"he simply said, i shifted closer laying my head on his chest before falling asleep.

I woke up in the night when i heard footsteps, it was that girl again, this time she left a grilled fish and some shiitake mushrooms "Mind your own business girl your generosity is wasted i don't eat human food"Sesshomaru said "I for one am starving, thank you"i said smiling at the girl eating the fish and mushrooms before the girl left.

"There's something i don't understand"Sesshomaru said "And what's that?"i asked curling up next to him "If you truly do not remember why are you being so affectionate? And why do you let me do as i wish with you?"he asked "Well i might not remember what it is but there's just something here that won't allow me to fight against what my body wants and that's to be close to you and have you show me affection"i said, Sesshomaru just nodded before closing his eyes, I smiled and kissed his cheek before laying on his chest again and closing my eyes.

I woke up in the morning with Sesshomaru when there was a rustle, it was that girl, now that it was light out i got a good look at her, she had black hair and brown eyes, she was hurt but absolutely adorable, she brought us some plant looking thing.

"No thanks"Sesshomaru said but the girl wasn't giving up walking closer and wordlessly offering the food again "I told you i don't need anything from you"Sesshomaru said and the girl looked a little crest fallen"Don't mind him, he's just a little grumpy because he got beat up by his younger brother"i said Sesshomaru growled a bit at me but i knew he wouldn't do anything.

"Where did you get those bruises?"Sesshomaru asked the girl "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to"he added and the girl then smiled suddenly, SO CUTE!!! I couldn't help but smile back at her "What are you smiling about? I simply asked a question i don't care i'm just curious"Sesshomaru said, i giggled a bit at him "You wouldn't ask if you didn't care"i said, he just looked away.

I giggled again before digging into my pocket, thankfully the small jar was still there "Here, this will help with the healing"i smiled at her, the girl took the jar and bowed in a silent thanks before leaving, i didn't stop smiling until she was out of sight "You like that girl don't you?"Sesshomaru asked.

"I can't help it, she's adorable, shoot i forgot to ask her name"i said "I doubt she would answer, it seems she's mute"Sesshomaru said and groaned a bit as he attempted to sit up "Easy, you might be a demon but that blow took a lot out of you"i said helping him up "I'll be fine"he said but accepted my help regardless.

I walked with Sesshomaru as he lead the way to a field where Jaken was with the two headed dragon demon "Lord Sesshomaru! Would you have actually risked my life to test your sword?! You ungrateful dog!"the imp demon yelled before being hit by a rock thrown by Sesshomaru, even i heard his yelling so of course Sesshomaru had.

"Lord Sesshomaru before i continue in your service were you actually testing your sword on me?"Jaken asked "I expected a relieved welcome from you Jaken not an interrogation" Sesshomaru said  "Right i'm glad you are well, i thought you might be dead"Jaken said and got hit by another rock for that, the wind blew by "I recognized this blood"Sesshomaru said "Sesshomaru?"i asked as he walked off probably where the scent was coming from.

As we got closer even i could smell the blood, seems there's still a lot of power left for me to recover, i gasped as we came across a body, it was the little girl, i went over and picked her up, i bit my lip as a single tear escaped my eye.

~Sesshomaru~

I hated seeing Akane so sad, this girl had made her the happiest i had seen since she's been with me but there's nothing that can be done now, just then though the Tenseiga pulsed, i drew my sword and saw other worldly creatures over the girl, soul collectors from the next world at a guess, i wanted to see Akane happy again "I'll do another test, i'll use the Tenseiga"i said more to myself.

~Akane~

"Akane, step away please"Sesshomaru said in a gentle tone, i looked at him and could tell he had something in mind, i laid the girl down and went over to his side and watched as Sesshomaru swung the Tenseiga, i went over with him as Sesshomaru picked up the girl holding her against his leg.

I gasped a bit as the girl opened her eyes again, i couldn't help it as i engulfed both her and Sesshomaru in a hug, Sesshomaru briefly hugged me back before pulling away and letting the girl stand on her own as he stood up and headed back to where the two headed demon was, i followed but so did the girl "What's your name little girl?"i decided to ask now before i forgot again turning to her.

"It's Rin"she said, ADORABLE!!! "Well Rin, i'm Akane and this is Sesshomaru, and the toad is Jaken"i said "It's very nice to meet you miss Akane"she said bowing, manners too this girl is too much, "Please just call me Akane"i smiled at her "Alright, then it's also very nice to meet you Sesshomaru"Rin said turning to him.

"That's lord Sesshomaru to you!"Jaken said "Alright master Jaken"Rin said keeping a smile on her face, i couldn't stop smiling either "Alright with that out of the way, let's get you cleaned up and get you a new kimono"i said "Yay!"Rin cheered "Of course if that's fine with you Sesshomaru?"i asked turning to him, he just nodded, with that as we reached the two headed dragon Rin gave it a name A-Un.

I forget which head was which but anyway we hopped on A-Un and headed to the nearest town, landing at the outskirts, Sesshomaru went off on his own to get his clothes and armor fixed while i headed to the town with Rin and helped her pick a kimono.

After that we met up with Sesshomaru where A-Un was waiting and left in search of a hotspring, it was rather easy finding one with Sesshomaru's nose leading the way and soon enough we found one that was surrounded by a rock formation, the spring also had a secluded spot.

Anyway after stripping i helped Rin clean up before joining Sesshomaru in the secluded spot sitting across from him at first "I'm surprised you decided to join in"i said "I just thought i could use cleaning up too"Sesshomaru said, he was leaning on the white fluffy thing, which actually was sorta like his tail in human form, Rin had taken to calling it Mokomoko-sama, i moved closer to him sitting at his side now "I could help with that"i said.

Sesshomaru glanced at me "Do as you wish"he said "Then show your back"i said, he obliged turning his back to me, i moved his hair out of the way and washed his back with soap that i got from Kagome.
