With Yuuri's expression in the refined version means that he was actually fucking terrified and completely caught off guard by what Victor said. And Victor not smug as face showing that Victor was pretty damn confident in his own words. This is supported by another image from the same scene.

For this one they didn't change much but the fucking fear expressed in the refined version is intense. Like, guys, that's the face I put on when the anxiety's hitting me in the face for something important. This fucker is facing true fear. This changes the scene entirely. It also makes me wonder about the fucking conversation Victor and Yuuri probably had when they got back to the hotel.

Same scene but look at how beautiful this image is. That guy with the smug ass gave, that way over excited dude in the back, that dad looking dude also in the back, it's beautiful.
