1. I just don't typically ship gay lol

2. I personally find their relationship cuter and more meaningful as a close brotherly friendship; it just doesn't make sense as a romantic one

3. Kind of going off of the last one, Alberto and Luca remind me a lot of Barley and Ian from Onward, who are brothers. So yeah, Alberto and Luca's relationship to me definitely seems like more of a brotherly one than anything else, which is why I think it's kinda weird to ship them

4. I'm pretty sure the director Enrico Casarosa has said that although the movie is about acceptance, and if people see it as queer acceptance that's fine because that's their own interpretation of the movie, but that wasn't what it was intended to be

5. Jack Dylan Grazer, the voice actor for Alberto, has said that even though he can't stop people from shipping Luca and Alberto, he sees them as friends. That's it, just friends.

I hope this doesn't offend anyone, it wasn't meant to come off that way. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and I'm just sharing mine :)
