Days have passed since Eri killed Mineta and made a name for herself in the Hero Society. Stain and Eri were finishing a training session. 

Stain: You're getting better. Keep it up. 

Eri: What next?

Stain: We're going out to kill any False Hero we see.

Eri: Who's the target?

Stain: No one specific. It's a patrol. 

Eri felt disappointed at the prospect of a simple patrol. She wanted to kill False Heroes. More importantly, she wanted Overhaul. 

Eri: What of the False Heroes?! What of Overhaul....

Stain: Don't worry Eri. I'm sure we'll find a False Hero to kill! As for Overhaul......we'll deal with him and his gang of scum soon enough.

Eri: But I'm ready now!

Stain: NO! Don't let vengeance cloud your judgement. Remember. We are here to cleanse the world of False Heroes. 

Eri found wisdom in her mentor's words. She knew that Stain was right, but she couldn't help but feel frustrated at the idea of Overhaul remaining free. But the mission was all that mattered.

Stain: I know you want Overhaul dead, but you aren't ready yet. If you go out now looking for war with Overhaul, you'll end up dead. 

Eri: I know.......

Stain got on his knees and hugged Eri.

Stain: You'll get your vengeance soon. Overhaul will die. By your hand. Now......let's get on with the patrol.

Stain and Eri exited the hideout on the cover of darkness and began their patrol. So far nothing out of the ordinary happened. Eri helped out a few innocent people against common thugs, but no False Heroes. Stain and Eri stare down the city below from the rooftop.

Eri: Why did you bring me here? You clearly don't need my help on this patrol.

Stain: One must always find opportunity for field experience. Field experience is by far the best teacher of anything. That was the point of Grape Rush. To see how you would adapt to certain situations without my guidance. 

Eri: And I passed your test?

Stain: That and more. The thing about field experience is that it's always unpredictable. Even a normal patrol could turn into a heated battle. You found that out for yourself.

Eri found merit to Stain's words as she remembered how a simple killing of a False Hero escalated into a high speed chase against two Pro Heroes.

Eri: What turned from a simple killing into a fight or die situation. But I made a promise to myself on the day you found me.

Stain: Hhm?

Eri: I won't be helpless anymore! I will dedicate myself to the mission! And not only that, I will not stop until every False Hero is dead! And when I get my hands on Overhaul.......I'll make him pay for the absolute hell he put me through!

Stain: Such conviction!

Suddenly, they were ambushed by Eraserhead. 

Eraserhead: I knew it was a matter of time before I caught up with you kid. And with Stain too. 

Stain and Eri quickly readied themselves for combat as they armed themselves with their blades. 

Eri: Back for more punishment Eraserhead?

Eraserhead: You really did a number on me kid. But I didn't come alone this time!

Stain and Eri soon saw the Pro Heroes Tsukuyomi, Creati and Ingenium begin to surround the Hero Killers. 

Stain: We're surrounded. Here's some field training for you.

Eri smiled as the two begin to charge at the Pro Heroes. 

Tsukuyomi: DARK SHADOW!

Tsukuyomi summoned Dark Shadow to grab Stain, but Eri rushed to the vulnerable Tsukuyomi and manages to slash as his arm, but Tsukuyomi commands Dark Shadow to let go of Stain and attack Eri. uses her agility to dodge Dark Shadow's attacks as she throws her bloodied blade to Stain. Stain licks the blood and activates his Bloodcurdle Quirk to paralyze Tsukuyomi.

Creati: Tsukuyomi's paralyzed! 

Ingenium rushes to Stain, but Eri tackles the Speed Hero while Stain readies himself to kill Tsukuyomi. But before Stain could land the killing blow, Creati throws her staff and knocks the sword out of Stain's hand.

Stain: How annoying. 

Stain pulls out two swords and begins to engage both Creati and Eraserhead. Eraserhead uses his scarf to restrain one of his hands, but Eri throws a blade at the scarf, cutting it an freeing Stain. Ingenium soon begins to overpower Eri. 

Ingenium: It's over!

Eri: That's what you think!

Eri clicks her heels ad slams her boot knife in the weak spot of Ingenium's armor and proceeds to push him off the roof. 

Creati: INGENIUM!

Eraserhead: Go check on him! I'll handle these two! 

Creati goes down the roof to check on Ingenium while Eraserhead fought with the Hero Killers.

Stain: Eri! You know what to do!

Eri nods her head as she charges at Eraserhead while throwing a few knives at the hero who dodges them. Eri blindsides Eraserhead and slashes at his face with a dagger. She tosses the dagger to Stain who licks it, activating his Bloodcurdle Quirk to paralyze Stain. 

Stain: We're falling back! My Quirk could wear off on Tsukuyomi any minute now! Now's our chance to leave. 

Eri follows Stain's instructions and retreats while they have the chance. By the time Stain's Quirk wore off on Tsukuyomi and Eraserhead, the Hero Killers were long gone.

Eraserhead: Damn it they got away! 

Tsukuyomi: We should check on Creati and Ingenium. 

Eraserhead and Tsukuyomi go to where Creati had went to check on Ingenium and find him seriously injured. 

Eraserhead: How is he?

Creati: Ingenium is seriously injured. We need to get him medical attention now!

Wasting no time, the Pro Heroes took the injured Ingenium to Revovery Girl while the Hero Killers retreat to their hideout.
